Ivar's Salmon House

We had our rehearsal dinner at Ivar's Salmon house and it was better than we ever could have expected or wished for! The food is excellent and the service was absolutely flawless! We had 20 people and were able to allow them to select anything from the menu, unlike most other places that require selecting a few options for a party of that size. We allowed our guests to have anything they wanted from the menu; drinks, appetizers, meals, desserts...seriously whatever! The food all came out at the same time and was perfect! I even had a picky kid there and they made a special (not on the menu) meal for him! At the end of the night we were pleasantly surprised (to say the least) to find the bill was much less than we'd expected and budgeted! I have since referred a friend for a birthday party there and it was also an excellent experience!

Ivar's Salmon House on North Lake Union was by far the best vendor we dealt with regarding our Seattle wedding. Everything about it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the room warm and inviting, the staff impeccable, and the whole process was a breeze. It's not the cheapest rehearsal dinner option, but it was well worth it.

They have one banquet room that held our ~100 people very nicely. I believe they say it can hold 120, but you should contact them about the precise capacity. Obviously, the salmon is very good here, but our guests also raved about the other choices we offered. The capable and pleasant staff went out of their way to make the evening go smoothly, and were very accomodating with special requests and some last minute things. Planning the event with them in person and by phone/email was relaxed and easy.
