Iversen's

Iversen's cake was DELICIOUS, and they let us design a cake with a specific pattern of cake flavor and jellies. It was reasonably priced and beautiful. Very well done.

Gina at Iversen's was awesome! Very helpful and willing to make whatever samples we wanted. She even brought out more flavors for our tasting.

Gina designed a beautiful cake for us. She was great at offering suggestions at our final appointment. The cake tasted wonderful. They provided us with 3 small cakes to sample and take home when originally choosing and also with give us a small cake on our anniversary so we do not have to freeze ours.

We had an OUTSTANDING experience with Iversen's. The service was outstanding. Rhonda was our designer and baker and she was with us from start to finish. Being an out of town bride, it really helped to have dedicated people assist with the day. We married on a Sunday (holiday weekend) and they did not hesitate to accomodate us. The taste of the cake was AMAZING. We were very happy and would recommend them to anyone.

Gina is AMAZING! My wedding cake looked exactly like the "inspiration" photo that I had shown her. We received so many compliments on not just the design, but the taste as well.

The people that work here were so nice and willing to work with any budget. The cakes were so delicious people are still talking about it. The manager assisted us in designing our own cake and it came out beautiful.

I wish I could give Iversen's Bakery ten stars!!! Our cake designer Gina was absolutely wonderful. She took our vision well beyond our expectations. the cake for our July 31, 2011 wedding was not only beautiful but delicious. There was not even a crumb left. She even made a cookie monster groom's cake with a cigar that my husband just loved. Don't hesitate about Iversen's Bakery you will not be disappointed and your guests will be talking about your cake well after the wedding.

Absolutely fabulous wedding cake and service!!!! We had a very specific request of having my grandmother's frosting on our cake. Gina went ABOVE and BEYOND to make the perfect frosting that tasted just like grandma's. My guests are still complimenting us on our wedding cake and everyone has been asking where we got the cake. We say IVERSENS!! I won't go anywhere else for my cake needs. They were the only bakery I could find that would work with us on our very specific request. My family was so touched that we had a part of grandma at the wedding. It really meant a lot to us! Thank you Iversens and Gina! You made my day extra special!!

We ordered a yellow lemon rapberry cake with whipped cream as opposed to buttercream frosting. It was absolutely delicious!! They used fresh raspberries and preserves in the layers. We did get a "fake cake" for the cake cutting (with buttercream frosting which is more stable in hot temps) as the real cake was being sliced for the guests. It worked out great for us. We were very pleased.

The cake was delicious and gorgeous. It looked exactly like the photo I brought in. Rhonda was a pleasure to work with. Thank You Iversens!

Outstanding!!!! My cake was absolutely georgous!! The best cake I have ever ate. If you live in or near Dearborn, MI I highly recommend Iversen's.

After visiting other bakeries in the area, we ordered our wedding cake from Iverson's and were extremely happy.

SERVICE: We had a consultation appointment with Gina and were extremely pleased. We were able to sit down, and were offered coffee and/or soft drinks. We were also able to sample ANY flavor cake that interested us; and at the end of the session, Gina suggested that if we thought about any other flavors that we would like to sample once we got home, we should give her a call and she would have the additional samples available for us. We left the session with miniture cakes of the flavors we selected (lemon on 2 layers and chocolate on the others). Gina was very knowledgeable, and was able to guide us in gettting a four layer cake with pillars on our tight budget. Our wedding was on September 4, 2010 which was the weekend of Gina's birthday, but Gina assured us that she would be working throughout her birthday. Thanks Gina!

TASTE: Every flavor we sampled of Iverson's cakes was delicious. It was hard to choose. They were so moist and so good. Gina mixed 2 flavors of fillings together which included the Barvarian cream, and it was fantastic! Who knew wedding cakes could actually taste good in addition to looking good. I was actually able to enjoy my wedding cake. Iversen's must be using only natural ingredients. My sensitive taste buds could tell. Our wedding guests and our wedding coordinator also complimented us on the cake.

Iverson's is beyond 5 stars!!!

Our wedding cake we went through them for was AMAZING. It was a topsy turvy style done in bright pink, yellow, and orange and couldn't have turned out any better. We went with the option of having most of it be fake so we had more flavor options and I would highly recommend going that way if you're considering it, no one could tell and were amazed when they found out. We also had it done in butter creme instead of fondant and unless you were touching it you couldn't tell the difference.They were very accommodating and skilled. Plus, they're baked goods are delicious.

Gina did a fantastic job on my wedding cake! I just fell in love with it! She delivered my cake on a Sunday wedding and even topped my cake off with fresh flowers! I would recommend Iversen's for any occasion and Gina for wedding cakes especially!

Gina is the best and the cake was everything we dreamed of!

Gina is awesome! My wedding cake was beautiful and it was so delicious. Everyone said that it was so tasty and was much better than other cakes or wedding cakes they had tasted before. They have great prices and offer a selection of samples that still have my taste buds jumping to this day!
Highly recommended for wedding cakes, cookies, treats, anything that you wish to satisfy your sweet tooth with. Wonderful place!!!

Finding a bakery was yet another exhausting search. Iversen's was one of the first places I checked out and I liked their ideas instantly, but I didn't want to immediately sign a contract with the first cake vendor I talked too, so after seeing what the others offered at similar prices, I ended up choosing Iversen's. My cake was a 4 tiered chocolate brown and white cake, with Orange colored fall leaves decorating the outer layer. The flavors were alternating lemon and chocolate (my favorites)! The cake looked spectacular and tasted even better. I would definitely recommended Iversen's.

I had a wonderful experience with Iverson's Bakery. Their very first question to me was "What do you want your cake to look like?" They took their time with me to make sure thay designed a cake that I would love. And sure enough, on my wedding day I was brought to tears when I finally got a chance to see it. The cake was extremely beautiful and was so much more than I dreamed of. Not to mention the cake tasted delicious!! It is a little expensive but in my opinion, it's worth every penny!!!

Iversen's Bakery was wonderful! They worked with me several times to get just what I wanted. The cake was beautiful and more importantly it tasted great! I have had several compliments about our cake and how moist and yummy it was.

Iversen's was referred to me by my sister in law who was married 9 years before me. Her parents used them 40 years ago. They were all at the wedding and said how amazing the cake still was. I would never go anywhere else after my experience with Iversen's!

Iversen's makes delicious cakes. THe only thing is they are pretty expensive. You do not get a lot of value here, but they are known for their frosting. I had no trouble with them at all, other than their hours. They are only open until 4pm on Weekdays, which makes it quite hard to just "stop in".
They are professional when it comes to making an appt. They are appointment only and you cannot get in unless you make arrangements.
