J & B Bridals and Tuxedos

My daughter got married yesterday, and her wedding gown, all the attendants gowns, my gown, and all the tuxedos came from J&B Bridal. Every time we entered the store we were made to feel as if we were the only people there. We were treated with such kindness! All alterations were done perfectly and on time. Mallory (our sales associate) was friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. Jim actually came in on Sunday when the store is closed, to receive the tuxes, because we are from out of town and could not stay over until Monday. They were amazing to work with!

I had a wonderful experience working with J&B Bridal to find my wedding dress! Jami was an absolute delight and made me feel completely at ease. She really listened to what I was looking for and was extremely patient with me. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The alterations were perfect. I highly recommend J&B!

Incredible customer service. J&B Bridals makes you feel so very special. They are very attentative to your needs and extremely nice. Loved working with everyone there. I used them for my wedding dress 24 years ago, several of my three daughters prom dresses and all three wedding dresses and tuxes. Would not go anywhere else for my formal needs.

I cannot say enough good things about J&B Bridals. I live in Maryland, but went all the way to Chambersburg, PA for this store. The dress I wanted was difficult to get and the sample had to be borrowed from Maggie Sottero's loaner program for me to try on. I called probably 15 stores in Maryland to try to get the sample and none of them even offered to try and get. When I called J&B they were more than accommodating. It was easy to schedule appointments. My entire bridal party ended up getting dresses there. The sales staff were all wonderful and the alterations department was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this vendor, especially if customer service is important to you.

The staff made the experience at J&B Bridals the best! Specifically Jami & Connie! Honestly, utilizing this store was one of the best choices in "vendors" that I made for my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. It made my wedding planning experience so much more wonderful...more than I had expected.

I drove over an hour to get my dress here and have all alterations done here. They are totally worth the drive. The staff is so friendly and loves helping you find your dress. The prices are so much lower than any place with similar dresses in the Maryland, DC or northern Virginia. Definitely take a trip into PA and check them out even if you just buy the dress here and have alterations performed elsewhere, it's worth it!!!

I could not have asked for a better wedding gown shopping experience than the one I received at J&B. Every single time I walked into the store, I was made to feel very special and important, and everyone even remembered me after my first visit. You can communicate with your consultant via email (which was a big help living far away from PA), and they are always willing to help with all aspects of your wedding--not just your dress. I had multiple appointments (my dress and fittings, bridesmaid dresses, mothers gowns, flower girl dress) and received personal attention from my consultant every single time. I highly recommend J&B to ANY bride - for me, it was well worth the drive from Virginia each time!

The service was outstanding! Even though I was on a budget Jamie was still just as eager to help me find the dress just rite for me. After my wedding dress purchase I went back for my bridesmaid dresses because service was so great. Everyone was pleasant and made you feel welcome every time we came back. Love love this place!!!

I love J & B Bridal and have already recommended their business to many other recently engaged friends and family. I call it the "Kleinfelds of Chambersburg". I live over an hour away from the boutique and every time I made the long drive there, it was worth it for the quality and service I received. The staff at J & B are wonderful to work with. Jim, one of the owners, was there every single time I was there. He's delightful! Amy was my bridal consultant. She's so sweet and very knowledgable. Brenda was my seamstress and she is very skilled. I had 3 fittings. It had originally been meant to only be 2 fittings but upon picking up my pressed and finished dress, after trying it on before leaving, I realized my hem still needed to be taked up in length considerably. This was a bit discouraging because I was so so excited to take my dress home that day but it was handled wonderfully and smoothly and in a timely manner! The next time I came to get my dress it was perfect! You can't go wrong using this boutique. The selection is amazing! You get individiualized attention and care. Choose J & B, you'll be happy you did!!

I purchased my dress from J&B Bridals while living in New York City. There was part of me that was nervous about the distance between the shop and my home, but in the end the customer service at J&B won me over. My consultant Amy was so attentive and really great helping me find the perfect dress. I bought the dress a very long time before my wedding date so it was a while before I went back for my alterations. Amy was so sweet and came to visit to make sure things were going well which I thought was great. My seamstress Connie was amazing beyond words. She was so careful and attentive to detail and she really made me feel confident knowing that she was cutting up my dress. :) I had custom straps made from the excess lace that was taken from my dress during alterations and they turned out more wonderful that even I had imagined. Connie was a real miracle worker! The greatest example of the wonderful service here is that a week before my wedding, I was evacuated from my apartment in NY because of hurricane Irene and I headed to Chambersburg to stay with my parents so that I could go to my final dress fitting. I was anticipating everything being perfect, however the fabric just wasn't laying right. Connie was so sweet re-assuring me that everything would be fine and she would make the necessary adjustments right away. The next thing I knew, I was at her HOME trying on my dress for the last time to make sure it was 100% perfect, and it was! It was really above and beyond for her to bring me to her home to make sure everything was just right and I am so thankful for that! I know that I would have not received the same service had I had the same problem in New York City! J&B Bridals is a great family-owned business that really cares about it's customer. I am so happy with my whole experience and would recommend it to anyone that needs wedding attire!

J & B was great to work with! My dresses were exactly what I wanted and arrived in a timely manner! They answered all of my questions and called me with reminders! The week before the wedding I noticed that some of the tacks in my bridesmaids dresses had come out. They fixed them at no cost to me!

J&B Bridals are the best company around to work with on your whole wedding attire! I never felt pushed, rushed or anything. They made sure everything worked for all of us and always were ready to make any changes that needed to be done. The whole staff including all the seamstresses were so friendly and always knew all my bridal party by name. They definately made our wedding a dream come true and I miss seeing them every week!!!

I bought my wedding dress at J&B and had a wonderful experience working with them. The staff was very personable and friendly, and the dress selection was wonderful. They were not pushy and made me feel at ease during the dress shopping experience. I also had my dress altered at J&B, by Connie, and she did a beautiful job, even offering to come in on her day off to accomodate my schedule leading up to the wedding.

I had bought my dress from J&B a few years back so when it came time to wear it after having 2 children it didnt fit...I called J&B in a panic but was assured that my dress would fit in time for my wedding....the seamstress staff they have it absolutly great...My matrons of honor were unable to make it to day appts for dress fittings and between schedules most nights were unavailable to but the one seamstress went out of her way to let us go to her personal home and do the final fitting and even helped out when my girls dresses arrived 2 weeks before the wedding and didnt fit so once again in a panic they definatly came to the rescue. The groom and his party all rented tuxs from J&B as well and they couldnt of looked better. I would definatly refer them to anyone they are awesome

J&B was a great place to go not only for my dress but for my bridesmaids dresses as well. They were so helpful in helping me pick out everything from my dress to my shoes and were not pushy at all like some other bridal stores are. Not only that but they were great in alterations. I know David Bridal makes the bride store there dress at home and bring it in each time - not with J&B. They store your dress for you and then will iron it the day you pick it up prior to your ceremony. I would highly recommend them anyday - you will not be disappointed.

Amy was fantastic to work with for my wedding day! She picked out the most beautiful veil and headpiece to go with the fress of my dreams! Wonderful selection and fabulous prices!!!

Had the gown I was looking for, amazing service and the nicest staff (and owner)! Huge selection, loved working with them and have already sent 3 brides there, each who also found the perfect gown. Ive heard many negative coments about snotty staff or staff pushing high end gowns at other bridal shops - not here! I told them the price I was looking at and they stayed in that price range. I was very, very happy about this vendor. I was a walk-in customer just wanting to browse. The manager (Amy) scooped me up right away and took complete care of me. The consultation she gave me was one of a kind (not like with other places I had been to with an appointment). They have fantastic gowns and really listen to the bride when she sets a budget. My consultant even gave me a full head-to-toe dressing including jewelry and a veil. I highly recommend this vendor to everyone!

Jamie was amazing! I came into the shop looking for a specific dress--put it on and hated it =( Jamie spent the next 4 hours putting me in and out of what seemed like every dress in the store! Finally, about 1/2 hour past closing time, we finally made a decision! They never made me feel rushed or like I was "just another customer"--without a doubt worth the trip from Baltimore!

J & B was so helpful! I could not have asked for better service. I live out of state and bought my dress from them-the accommodated my schedule so that my dress could be altered and I could travel with it--it was altered in 5 days and fit perfectly. Every time I walked into their store I felt welcomed, they were so attentive and helpful. And my dress was gorgeous!!!

The consultants at J&B are incredibly friendly and helpful. I had no problem finding dresses for myself as well as my bridesmaids. My consultant was there with me from picking out my dress up until I picked it up a few days before the wedding. I was very happy with them.

I absolutely LOVED working with J&B Bridals for my wedding dress. This is one area I felt I could sacrifice since I would only wear my dress one day. When I went to other boutique's they basically laughed me out of the store when I said I wanted to stay close to $400. The staff at J&B worked within my budget and clearly listened to my wants. They had numerous dresses for me to choose from that stayed close to my budget and they didn't push me to spend more than I wanted. They helped me find a beautiful wedding gown that was elegant, really red-carpet like. I'm so happy with how my dress turned out. It fit my body beautifully, as well as my personality. I would happily recommend them to anyone!

I went to so many different bridal boutiques and shops, & tried on SO many dresses, that if I told you how many, your head would spin. I was one of those indecisive, picky, nothings-ever-good-enough brides when it came to my gown! I ended up trying J&B Bridals b/c it had so many great reviews and I saw it had one of the biggest selections of dresses anywhere, so I had to check it out. HOWEVER, it was a 3 hour ride for me to get there haha.... I didn't care though and I did it. I'm so glad I did. The big mistake I initially made was trying on a dress without looking at the price tag- it was so beautiful and perfect, but WAY over my budget and I knew I just couldn't. The consultant we had ended up finding another dress that was much less expensive but very similar to this dress. I really liked it and bought it. When the dress came and we got the alterations done, I was really unhappy with the fit. It was such a disaster- and at no fault of the seamstress or anyone else....without getting into too much unnecessary detail, it just wasn't what I wanted in the end. Anyway to make a long story short, being that it was only 2 months before my wedding I was feeling so stuck- not knowing what to do because now I have a dress that I just don't feel happy with. The staff at J&B stepped in and basically said to me- You're the bride, we want you to feel amazing on your wedding day. If this isn't the dress for you, don't worry. You can still pick anything else in the store and we'll have it ready for you. I couldn't believe their flexibility with me and was so grateful. I ended up choosing another dress and loving it and no, I didn't change my mind after that! The staff at J&B was absolutely incredible- the sweetest, most professional staff you could ask for. They had the dress ready for me in more than enough time for my wedding and the alterations were perfect. Definitly worth the 3hr drive & I highly recommend.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM!!! Finding the perfect dress was one of the (if not THE most) important part of planning my big day. After checking out the beautiful display window of J & B Bridal, I went in to see if I could find something for myself. I went in with my Mom, sister and a couple of friends and met with Jami...she was so awesome and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I found the most amazing dress and kept in constant contact with her throughout the ordering and fitting process. Jami was just as excited to help me with everything as I was about planning my big day. Since I live in Frederick (about an hour away from the store) I found a local seamstress to make all of my adjustments for my dress...HOWEVER, just days before my wedding I got my dress back and it did not fit!! I called J & B Bridal in hysterics and they immediately went to work making sure that I could get up there with my dress to make the necessary changes and alterations. They fixed my dress in a day even though it was right in the middle of prom and wedding season, and charged me next to nothing for the changes they made...they made me feel like I was the most important customer they had and did everything they could to assure me that my dress (and myself!!) would be taken care of. Jami and the rest of the crew (including the owner, Jim Resh) were more than I could have asked for in providing OUTSTANDING service. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this vendor!! They have dresses for every style, shape and size, a pleasant store atmosphere and the most wonderful people working there. Thanks SO MUCH to J & B Bridal...you guys were awesome!!!!!!

I received excellent service at J & B Bridals. Our helper (Jackie) gave us her undivided attention and was so helpful. I found a beautiful dress and was even able t get it on sale because it was a sample. The staff also called me to follow up and make sure that I had everything I needed. A great store with a great selection of bridal gowns. My only criticism would be that they have a limited offering of cute bridemaid dresses.

I loved the service. Jackie helped me out so much!!! We also rented the Tux's from their they were amazing. My husbands came in in long, and he is not long, and they overnighted the right size in so it was there for our wedding day! My gown was amazing and I love it!

I had a wonderful experience at J&B Bridals. My bridal expert was Jackie Moore, she is a very pleasant and soft spoken lady who helped tremendously. The day I had an appointment she had dresses laid out for me of dresses I had described I was looking for. We did a process of elimination. Meaning, when I tried on a dress if I liked it, I would hold it then try on another then Jackie would ask "do you like this one better than the last one" if so we would take away the last one and keep the new one. I had it narrowed down to two I like equally so we tried them both on again and did the same process and I found the perfect dress on my first visit. Jackie would call from time to time to check on me and see if I needed anything else. I received post cards via mail on updates of dress alterations/shoe order/ slip order and when my dress was available for pickup. The have many dress and are very up to date with the every changing designs.

The staff and J & B was very helpful. We were greeted with big smiles and warm hellos everytime we walked through the door. We recieved great discounts for buying my wedding gown, my bridesmaids dresses, and renting the tuxedos all from J & B.

J & B Bridals and Tuxedos outfitted my entire wedding party! My bridal consultant, Cindy, was always very quick to respond to my questions and the store sent me a notification every time an ordered item arrived at the store. The prices were extremely reasonable and they were willing to order anything I needed. Also, if something ordered arrived and we didn't like it, they were happy to return it at no charge. Their on-site seamstress was wonderful, and again, the cost was reasonable. I am on the short side and I lost a bunch of weight after ordering my gown so the alterations were extensive and yet still perfect.
Just to clarify, I have extremely high standards! I wouldn't settle for anything less than professional and timely service from any vendor and J&B more than met my expectations.

This is an amazing dress shop in downtown Chambersburg. They have a lot of variety, and the staff is so nice and helpful. I though the prices were very reasonable and the alterations fees were very reasonable too.

Why would you go anywhere else? They can take care of anyone!

i have been going to J&B for quite some years now. from prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses to my wedding gown they have never let me down! their selection is great but the costomer service is so wonderful. from davids bridal to there is a WORLD of differance! you are treated so wonderful here and the attention is truely on you. Mallory is so great there. she is honest and so caring. she will put you in exactly the gown for you! :)

I searched for the perfect wedding dress at 4 shops prior to finding J&B Bridals. I drove an hour and a half to find the most amazing dress ever. They carry Kleinfeld dresses that you can only find in Manhattan. My first visit I was about an hour late for the appointment. We had not realized how far the location really was. The staff was very nice when I called to tell them that we were running behind and would be there asap. As soon as we did arrive, Amy, was extremely pleasant and had treated me like an old friend. The quality and selection of dresses were amazing.

Barb was absolutely wonderful to work with. They kept you with the same person and they were always so friendly. I gave a 4 out of 5 for the quality of service only b/c I had some trouble with my alterations. Almost everything was perfect except for the bustle. The day of the wedding, it was different then what I asked for so the girls fixing my dress had a heck of a time. Other then that great service and choices! Loved it! Plus the guys tux's were the least expensive of any place around!

Found a dress there on sale at a FANTASTIC price. They have so many choices and Barb was great to work with. Had some trouble with the seamstress in how she did my bustle, but other then everything was perfect. Great prices on Tux's as well; better then any place around! Highly recommend.

Jackie worked closely with me and really paid attention to the details that I wanted in my dress. They carry well-known designers at reasonable prices.

I used J&B for my bridesmaid dresses. They were very accomodating and helpful. When the dresses came in and didn't fit any of the bridesmaids they worked hard to make it right. The staff is extremely friendly.

J & B Bridals were an excellent help. I specifically recomend the consultants Cindy and Jackie. They know their dresses. You can describe some attributes you are looking for and they will pull "the" dress off the rack. And a few more to choose from. There dresses are designer and are at an amazing price. The only problem I had was one time I wanted to try my dress on with my bridemaids and they could not find my dress that night. A consultant in training did not put it back in the correct alphabetical spot. They called at 6am the next morning to tell me they found it.

J&B has a WONDERFUL staff, and a hug assortment of dresses... if your a diva or plain Jane, they will diffently have something you will love. I was hooked when i met the sales staff.. they are so friendly and accomadating!

My dress was beautiful... the employees are great!!! Cost was not cheap but it could have been a ton worse! :) Not as flexible as some other shops but they are a lot smaller too so it's understandable. Great overall experience.

I had gone to David's Bridal looking for a dress and they treated me horribly. I went to J&B and Jami helped me find the prefect dress in less than an hour. I didn't even know what I wanted walking in the door and she helped me find my dream dress. The fittings and the follow up went well. My husband's tux was good. I only had a slight hitch when the zipper on my dress burst right before the ceremony, but I was sewen into the dress and the wedding went on. J&B fixed the zipper no cost after the wedding.

J&B was a great find for my wedding gown and bridesmaid's dresses. The best thing about this store is the personal attention you get. Your consultant actually works with you if you have an appointment, as opposed to the overworked, distracted consultants I experienced at David's Bridal. Amy Gibson is the best consultant at J&B, and I would recommend her to everyone. She clearly loves her job and focuses on getting you the perfect dress within your price range. Some tips - if you want a little lower cost bridal gown, ask to go upstairs to the clearance section of gowns; I got my wedding dress for $200!! Also, be very careful to avoid going to J&B in the middle of prom season (March through May) or to expect crowds and delays if you go then.

They were really flexible on everything.

J&B was great to work with. We had to order 8 tuxedos and they were able to get them in a couple of days early for those traveling to the wedding. They were very helpful in picking the correct tuxedos to match my dress and the bridesmaid dresses.

They were so helpful! I placed an order for a dress during their anniversary sale, but when my mom saw the dress she didn't like it... they let me transfer my deposit on that dress to another dress, and they still gave me the discount, even though the sale was over! Their jewelry was reasonably priced too! I got a dress, tiara, veil, earrings, and necklace for less than $1,000!

JB Bridal helped me with everything I needed help for. They was very professional and caring. They made sure my girls had their alteration appts scheduled. They kept me updated etc. My dress came in and was so gorgeous. Thanks JB!!!!!! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!!

The shop is so nice, and the people are very helpful. I got my dress at a half off sale, so the value was great because I never would have been able to afford my dress at regular cost. The only downfall was that, at the time, they didn't have a tailor, so I had to take it somewhere else. They gave my bridesmaids a discount since I purchased my gown with them, which was very nice.

The are very friendly people. That being said, they are great sales people (I can't blame them since this if their job.) I had a problem with the sash of my dress coming in a completely different color from what I ordered. J+B fixed the sash, but I had to pay for the new material. The color difference was an error from the manufacturer, so it wasn't really J+B's responsibility to pay. They were kind and understanding while getting this error fixed. I felt the alterations were somewhat overpriced...my mom had cups put in her dress and was charged over $40.00.

J&B Bridals overlooked several items for our wedding. I ordered earrings for my wedding party 9 months before the wedding and paid for them. I called a month before the wedding, where they informed me they were discontinued. We also ordered the Tuxedos and 2 weeks before the wedding they told us those tuxedos wouldn't be available.

My dress was about 2.5 months late and the alterations were free but they were done improperly and had to be redone the day before the wedding. For the hassle I received 15% off but it was more trouble then it was worth.

Would never go to again. They gave me no personal attention and my sister's dress had a big stain on it a couple of days before the wedding. Not happy.

i had met Jim and Barb several times at Bridal shows, but never had occasion to work with them until my daughter bought her wedding dress at J & B. They went out of their way to find her dress in the color she wanted before we bought it. Not only were Jim and Barb wonderful, but so was their daughter Jami. We were delighted with the personal attention we got whenever we went into the store. Super!
