It was an absolute JOY to work with the J Crew store at the Rosedale Mall and Mall of America (MN). Lauren (Rosedale) was attentive, helpful, and so sweet. She made sure that we paid the sale price on my bridesmaid dress, and made sure I was happy with every decision I had to make. Upon opening my dress bag the day of my wedding, I found a note she had written wishing me luck - a fabulous touch!
I did not have my dress hemmed by their tailor - I was quoted $12 in the store, and it was actually going to be $65.
The Bloomington Store took care of the groom's suit. I think we were at the store for over an hour, and someone was always within a helpful distance and provided a professional and laid-back yet classy service. Everything I expect and love about J Crew.
I had so many compliments on my dress and my sister (bridesmaid) is definitely able to wear her dress again.
Classy and casual - it was a perfect...

My dress was perfection. The people at the jcrew store and online were so helpful.

Love their dresses, cause they are really wearable after the event. I have 2 dresses from different weddings which I kept in the closet and actually wear it for my night out to dinners with friends.

My bridesmaid's will be wearing J Crew dresses. I'm having a wedding outdoors in the summer, and they have a great selection of styles every summer. I have chosen navy as my color, and each bridesmaid can pick a dress of any style to compliment their body type.

We chose one style for my maid of honor and two bridesmaids in two different colors (one for MOH, and the other one for both bm's). They were very helpful at J.Crew, but a little confusing as well. When I called to ask what size I needed to order for the girls, the gal on the phone told me that they were true to size, and she should order whatever my BM normally wears. However when I told her the sample dress (which IS her size), was too big for her, she said to go a size smaller. Yet for the other girls she said to order their normal size. So, she contradicted herself, and made it a confusing and tedious process. We ended up ordering all of them in a size smaller, and while one of the sizes worked out, we had to exchange the other two for different sizes. So far, one of those 2nd shipments has not worked, so we have to return it and we'll be searching elsewhere the MOH's dress. J.Crew has beautiful dresses, however I just wish they offered more help regarding sizing and had more knowledge about if certain styles would fit certain body types or not (since their sample dresses only come in one size).

I ordered two dresses from J. Crew as potential wedding gowns and was extremely pleased with both options. The silk tricotine fabric is luxuriously soft and draped well in both dresses. The two I ordered were the Goddess style and the Gracie style. I kept the Gracie dress and returned the Goddess style without any problems. Their bridal experts were very helpful in assisting me in choosing the right size.

I can't say enough good things about J Crew wedding and bridesmaid dresses. They are well-made, the bridesmaid dresses can be worn again, and you don't have your bridal party look like they stepped out of a tacky David's Bridal ad. The customer service is great (one dress needed to be exchanged for a different size and it was so easy and fast). The only down side was that the shoes were expensive and uncomfortable.

The best decision for bridesmaids dresses. They were classy enough and the girls can wear them again. It was important for me to have the girls be comfortable and feel like it was a dress they would pick out themselves. The cost wasn't over the top and everyone was happy with the look. You can't go wrong for dresses here.

I had all my BM's dresses ordered through J Crew and they were a huge huge hit. Although a bit pricy, they definately can be worn again, look sleek and stylish and had the perfect effect I wanted for my bridal party.

Couldn't have been simpler. I ordered my dress on line. It came within a week and fit perfectly. I only had to do minor alterations - hem and sleeve.
The fabric was beautiful and the quality of the garment was, unexpectedly, of the highest standards.
My bridesmaids also wore JCrew. The prices were great and it was easy to accomodate everyone even with the distances.

Great dresses that my girls love, will wear again. It was nice to find something so easy to order and wear. Great site.

I LOVE j crew - I got my 3 bridesmaids dresses from here, the Sophia in espresso. The quality is great, much nicer than most bridesmaids' dresses. Although I didn't get a super deal, the $150 price tag was very reasonable for a silk dress that is totally wearable after the wedding. I almost bought one for myself in another color! I highly recommend using J crew, and I thought the customer service was excellent. I'm SO HAPPY that bought my dresses through them! I placed one order and they were shipped to 3 different locations, I had a free shipping code too........

What can I say, I've always loved J. Crew. And that was the first place I went to find bridesmaid dresses. We ended up getting them on sale and the girls can definitely wear them again!

I wore a J.Crew bridesmaid's dress at the last wedding I was in, and I have to say, it's still one of my favorite dresses. I dress it up with a sweater or cardigan, and no one can tell it was ever a BM dress. So when it was my turn, I asked my BMs what they prefered, and of course it was J.Crew. So we got the Lorelei dress in a few different colors for fun, and they look fab! I think I will get them matching shawls as gifts, and they'll look gorgeous. J.Crew was very easy to work with, and I felt very comfortable knowing that if anything wasn't right, we could return the dresses and they'd stand by their product.

jcrew has good quality dresses and you can get them in a variety of styles to fit different shapes but the same color

I went to jcrew.com for my bridesmaid dresses, and I LOVE them! I didn't even choose one that was a "bridesmaid" dress on there. It was style 10681 in deep brown, and it fits all the girls so well. I have not had any trouble with their sizes. I do recommend ordering a couple of different sizes at first before you tell all your bridesmaids to go buy them. That way you can tell them how the size relates to you. This really helped us find all the girls accurate sizes, and I have nine bridesmaids! :)

Great place to get Bridesmaids dresses. My girls had 2 styles to choose from. They tried on the style at the store and ordered it there with the color I had chosen for them. The dress was less expensive online and they honored the online price with no problems. All my girls loved their dress. They all asked me months before the wedding if I could wear the dress before the wedding. Their dresses were $89. What a steal and great quality!

The dress we picked was the most affordable and the most universally flattering. My girls have no complaints. I do wish they had more color selection however because the color you pick really limits you to which style of dress you get. In addition, I would have liked it if they had more dresses in the 150 dollar price range. You are already asking so much of your bridesmaids ya know?

I was lucky enough to get our BM dresses on sale for $50 each! Score! Jcrew is probably the easiest place to find a BM dress that fits comfortably for all the girls and something they can wear again. The sizes ran a tad larger unlike some reviews said, so definitely try them on. Don't forget - if you're a teacher or student you get a 10% discount!

I am having the worst experience with J Crew bridesmaid dresses!!! The fit of these dresses is TERRIBLE. I spent countless hours ordering and returning dresses because the "wedding specialist" did a lousy job of sizing my girls. Also, the "Sophia" which was recommended for my pregnant bridesmaid has absolutely no room in the bust. The only dress that will fit her is strapless and, although Max, "the Wedding Expert" promised to include extra fabric with which to create straps, no fabric came when the order was finally delivered. Now they are refusing to send extra fabric and it's to late for me to order new dresses as there is a three month waitlist on most dresses. Once this problem became apparent, the "wedding specialist" stopped returning my calls. It has been a terrible, disappointing experience.

i found this website through Lucky Magazine even when i wasn't planning a wedding. the bridesmaid dresses can be worn for any event, which makes me not feel so bad about having my girls buy them. loved them before, love them now.

I loved J. Crew for my bridesmaid dresses. They have so many styles to choose from. My bridesmaid wore dresses in the same color but different styles. They are definitely dresses that can be worn again. The staff at J. Crew are great. They waived shipping and I used a 20% off coupon. They will also send color swatches.

For my wedding, I am working under a very tight budget. Not only are my fiance and I paying for a good deal of our wedding ourselves, but we are planning on attending graduate school, which will be a very large expense. So, when I say we're under financial constraints, I really mean it. When looking for dresses, I knew I couldn't be spending more than a few hundred dollars. I was told this was impossible, but kept looking anyway. Finally, I was talking to a girlfriend that knows far more about the clothing world than I do, and she suggested that I look at the J Crew bridal line. I did, and I found a beautiful silk dress for under $300 (style = Sophia). It's made very well, it's flattering, and the staff members I worked with were very helpful in getting me fitted and ordering the correct size. Additionally, many J Crew stores have in-house tailors that can perform alterations on your dress. There are only two drawbacks I encountered. One, alterations are not free unless you have a J Crew credit card. Two, most J Crew stores do not have the wedding line in the store, so you can't necessarily try the dress on before ordering (apparently New York City stores have the line in-house). I was uncomfortable with this at first, but it was made very clear to me that if necessary, a return or exchange would be very simple. All in all, I highly recommend J Crew if you are looking for an affordable gown that is of high quality.

I love the dresses we got from JCrew for my bridesmaids. We waited for the dress that we loved to go on final sale and snatched it up. I bought a few different sizes not being sure which would fit and had no problem returning to the store even though it was final sale. All I had to do was call their occasions department and they noted my account that the dresses were for a wedding and that the final sale did not apply!

Great colors, a lot of different styles. You're bridesmaids can each pick a dress in the same color of fabric and each have their own style. All my bridesmaids loved it and can ACTUALLY for once rewear their dress.

A bit pricy, but their dresses are gorgeous and very flattering for all body types. The wedding coordinator there is also very helpful.

Look for sales and clearance items way ahead of time. Like 6 months if possible. I got my dress for $90. and its beautiful. Make sure to consider the weather of your wedding month when buying a dress early.

We got our bridesmaid's dresses from jcrew. And they are so adorable. They were on sale. And I love the bold and fresh colors... also the different styles in the same fabrics. Perfect I think!

I found these dresses online for my bridesmaids and they loved them!!! The dresses are a good deal if you can find a coupon online! If you have them shipped to a store, the shipping is free!! Several of my bridesmaids even told me they have worn the dress since the wedding!!!

J. Crew offers classic, flattering styles in a great array of colors for bridesmaids, plus great suits for the groom.
The only downside is that they don't carry their bridal collection in any of their stores, so your only option is to use their sizing guide and order online. They do have a consultant that you can contact who will answer questions and send you swatches. I wish that they could send you a swatch book, with all the options, instead of having to request them individually though. While we were trying to finalize our color scheme, I must have made at least three swatch requests for the bridesmaids and each time had to wait 5-7 days for them to arrive in the mail.
They really need to make the shopping process a litter easier, but their beautifully constructed garments and great colors make up for it!

I ordered the Sophia dress in Deep Atlantic for my wedding and they turned out beautifully. The occasions department is excellent and really helpful to work with. Don't be deterred by the retail price - there are always sales so just wait for a 20% off coupon (sign up for emails) and/or sign up for a credit card.
Dresses are beautiful & they can definitely wear them again.

Many brides don't know but JCREW has a fantastic line of bridal/bridal party attire! We just ordered the cutest strapless dresses from the JCREW website. I would recommend ordering by phone - the associate was extremely helpful and also agreed to waive our shipping costs when I told her it was for a wedding. She also was helpful in choosing sizes and did not seem annoyed when I ordered 14 dresses to try on when I will only have 4 bridesmaids! JCREW also has a 60-day return policy and all items can be returned at the store. Just beware when you buy an item marked FINAL SALE - these items cannot be returned or exchanged!!!

JCrew is AWESOME. The dresses were priced reasonably (my girls paid about $130 each) and they were super cute. I'm still not sure if they are dresses the girls will wear again, but I think that's because I'm a HUGE pink fan. Everyone was in different cities, so ordering the dresses offline made it very easy. It was a little nerve wracking in a way because they couldn't try them on, but all of the girls ordered big and then had them altered.
We also used JCrew for the groomsmen's khaki pants. If you're still a student, they offer a 15% discount (just provide them with your college email account - my husband is an employee at the U of A, so we used that.) Surprisingly, JCrew was the only company that carried the wide range of men's pants sizes that we needed. Their wedding line is not available in stores, so we ordered all the pants at once, sent them to the groomsmen, and had the pants not fit - they could have sent them back and ordered a different size. All of the pants were perfect, though.
The color of the dress I chose also came in three different styles, so it gave the girls an option for their body types. When I was making my decision, I had JCrew send me color and fabric samples which was a HUGE help, because online photos can be very deceiving. Order the swatches as soon as you can, as they can take up to 10 days to arrive. We didn't find the dresses until about mid-January, but that's what was great about using JCrew - it didn't take 4 -6 months for the dresses to be made. Just 7 - 10 business days for the dresses to be mailed. Plus, JCrew is such a classic store that no matter what style you chose, it will be a better choice than something that is more "in style."

I waited until J Crew had one of their big seasonal sales on their dresses and found a $250 dress marked down to $95 in a color that I wanted. Their designs are simple and classic. The wedding specialists are very accomodating and were willing to include returns and exchanges on the sale dresses, which were supposed to be final sale. All of the bridesmaids are thrilled with the quality and wear-ability of the dress. I chose the Lindsay dress in Rich Aqua.

My sister and cousin very happy with ordering their dress from JCrew.com. Their dresses came in much earlier than expected, and an added bonus was that they got the dress at 50% off! Even my flower girls got a beautiful dress that matched the bridesmaids dresses in color and almost in style. The sizing definitely threw us off though, but we were able to exchange with no problems to get the correct sizes.

We got our bm's dresses here and everything came perfectly. We didn't order them online but over the phone which was a little bit better.

I bought my flower girls dresses here. It was so easy placing my order because their wedding specialist was very well informed. She was use to working with kids and it showed because my two nieces felt very comfortable. At the time they weren’t too busy so we were able to get more assistance. Overall it was a fun day and the dresses are absolutely beautiful.

I had purchased 2 other wedding dresses prior to finding the perfect dress on J.Crew.com! I could tell without even trying it on that it was perfect and the best part - it was only $199!!!! One of my best praises of J. Crew is their consistent sizing. If you wear a size 4 in one dress, you'll wear a size 4 in all their dresses. This makes it truly easy for online ordering! All the details about J. Crew items are exquisite and definitely stand out among other options, especially for the price. I would recommend J. Crew wedding dresses to all stylish and cost-conscious brides!

The bridesmaid dresses at J. Crew are fabulous. Not only do they ship quickly, but they are TRUE TO SIZE unlike most every other company. They fabrics are truly of the highest quality and are very well-made. They are versatile enough so that they are not just bridesmaid dresses, and the various patterns are very flattering. This company is also ideal if you are looking for many different looks in one color for your maids 9as I have been).

JCREW saved my wedding! First note: their dresses run closer to street size and not three sizes bigger like wedding dress shops. I was cutting it a little close to ordering my dress 3 months before the wedding and when I recieved it, it was three sizes too big! I sent it back for a smaller dress and it was backordered until 2 days before my bridal portraits. The wedding coordinator at Jcrew searched high and low to find a dress that (after a call and email per day) finally arrived a week before my portraits! Jennifer at corporate JCrew is an angel! I also bought coordinating bridesmaids dresses from this vendor and they were able to send me a swatch prior to ordering (order the swatch in way advance though because it takes a few weeks).

Ok...I just have a question-I am interested in the Camilla cotton cady dress from last season for my bridesmaids. The problem is that my girls are all different sizes...two of them are tiny (size 0 or 2) and two of them are larger girls (size 14 and 16) Will this dress be too small for the larger girls? I am pretty busty (36 D) and thought about buying one for myself but I am undecided due to the sizing. Can anyone help?

I loved my Wedding Dress by J Crew. It was the Hope Gown in Silk on sale!
I only ordered my size online and could not believe how beautiful this Dress was.
It was my Dream Dress and i got the Jennas Jacket in lavender for the Beach to wrap up.
I think J Crew has the most timeless and beautiful Wedding Dresses if you cannot afford Vera Wang!

I bought my dress as well as two bridesmaid dresses. Quality and style are perfect. Online assistance with sizing recommendations was excellent.

We ordered the dresses for my bridal party from J.Crew Wedding, and the dresses were PERFECT! Deciding on their dresses and ordering them from J. Crew had to be the easiest part of planning our wedding. J.Crew made everything so incredibly easy as they have many beautiful dresses and it was easy to search for the one that I wanted the girls to wear in the right colors. You can't go wrong with their available selections, or with their incredible affordable prices!

My partner bought a black dress from J Crew for our wedding, and I also happened to wear my J Crew suit for the occasion (purchased a couple years ago and it’s still in great shape) with a French white ruffled shirt from our trip. We knew from the beginning that a traditional white dress type of wedding is not for us and had always wanted the wedding to be more sustainable than a one-time splurge. For less than $300, the fabric is substantial and the tailoring of the dress has a very flattering fit—and required no alteration as most traditional wedding dress would.

I loved the dresses that I chose from J. Crew (2 styles of the silk chiffon in espresso). I only gave this vendor 3 stars, however, because the dresses had a very extended back order and a couple of my maids received very poor customer service from J. Crew. Also they completely "lost" 2 of my bridesmaids orders which caused my matron of honor to have to go with a completely different dress. Really in order to get the dresses you want they have to be ordered at least 5 months ahead of time. This is difficult when the fall line did not even come out until the end of July.

I have been trying to order J.crew dresses for my bridesmaids the last six weeks and I hate to say this but the customer service is horrible at J.crew! They are currently updating their systems to try to make their service better, but it's actually worst! It took them three weeks to place my order and once they did, the sizes weren't available anymore! Another issue I have with them was the 30-60 minute wait times to speak to a customer service representative. I agree with the previous reviews that J.crew dresses are ready-to-wear, but the quality, price and now customer service isn't worth your time.

David's Bridal had a simple and affordable selection, as did J Crew. I let the girls choose their own black strapless dress. Both were great with delivery and alterations.

My bridesmaids wore J Crew. They all looked beautiful in their dresses. The prices were affordable and all the girls liked their dress.

They have a great selection. Here’s a tip – if you order in the store, they don’t charge you for shipping. Also, you can get a discount if you are a teacher or student.

I chose a dress that wasn't your typical bridesmaid dress, but a very low-key "boat dress". My local JCrew was awesome! All of my girls had great experiences ordering and receiving the dress. It was a great deal and the color was bright and happy. The girls can now wear their dress over and over again, which was my goal. I didn’t want them to have to pay an arm and leg for something that would terrify them and then would be thrown away.

All my bridesmaids had a great experience with their J. Crew dresses. The prices are good and the dresses, which come in many styles and colors, generally don't need alterations like the dresses you find in bridal shops. The quality is excellent. Everyone loves their dresses and plans to wear them again (or at least that's what they tell me :)).

I let my bridesmaid choose their own dresses I just told them a colo - chocolate brown. They all ended up getting their dresses from jcrew. They all looked beautiful and my girls could order the dresses to their home (since they all live in different area). They have a very nice selection and they are dresses people can actually wear again!

My dress was beautiful and not that expensive...my bridesmaids did wear the same style than me and it was just perferct!!

A wedding to me was about simplicity, food, and family. I enjoyed a carefree evening in a dress that was comfortable, captivating, and photogenic. Best of all, it was inexpensive and ready to take on the festivities.

The bride is a big fan of J.Crew so selecting this brand for the bridesmaid dress was an obvious choice. J.Crew offers great selection of inexpensive bridesmaid dresses in many different colors. The quality of the silk and silk chiffon fabric is exceptional. J.Crew has wedding specialists that can take care of the entire wedding party. The customer service is amazing!

My BMs got their dresses on sale here, and said the service and turnaround was great. They all seem to like their dresses a lot and they looked absolutely beautiful in them on the wedding day! :) One complaint is some fabrics don't go up to size 16, which can be a bummer. However, you couldn't really tell the fabrics were slightly different on the day of/or in pictures (two of the girls were in chiffon and one in silk tricotine). It probably helped that the dresses were all black and mix-n-match styles though. I thought they all looked great and they all told me the dresses made them feel good and were re-wearable!

My new J. Crew dress is here!!!.. I LOVE it! It fits great, is comfortable, and will not need altering! It has a built in support system too. The linen did wrinkle a bit but I think it is better because of the beading. I just need to wear my girdle that day!

I got my dress and my bridesmaids dresses here and we were completely happy. No issues with customer service at all. Having been through several not so fun experiences with friends buying bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses over the years, I felt like I hit a home run with this choice! The styles were perfect for our Tahoe wedding, and I DO think my bridesmaids will wear them again. If they, don't, maybe I'll borrow my sister's dress sometime because I thought it was super cute!

I got my bridesmaid dresses at J.Crew in different styles and different colors and it looked beautiful! The dresses were affordable, they looked good and some of my bridesmaids have said they will wear them again - one of them even bought the same dress in a different color just to have it! I was very pleased, and when we had trouble finding sizes, the J.Crew people did their best to track down and get me the dress I needed. Their dresses are simple, yet elegant and most importantly, their dresses don't need to spend the next 10 years stuffed, untouched in the back of closets!

Love the J crew dresses! It's perfect for the bridesmaids. Great selection! ready to wear! The girls can wear it again!

GORGEOUS DRESSES!
LOVE, love, love them!
I highly recommend J.Crew!!!!

The dresses were great and no one had to get alterations which kept the cost down. Trying to get anyone to help with ordering the dresses was a struggle and the stores will not order dresses for you to try on. I had to purchase several hundred dollars of dresses so I could figure out which one I liked and then return the rest.

I just had one MOH and I let her pick her own dress. I loved the dress she chose from JCrew. It was a berry tea length dress with a silk sash. She was able to easily order a few different sizes of the dress and then return the ones she didn’t want to the store. She got lots of compliments on it and would definitely wear it again. The dress fit really well and she had minimal alterations. She pinned a brooch to the back of the sash so she matched my brooch bustle. She looked beautiful!

Jcrew was a great choice for our bridesmaid dresses. They had a great variety of styles and colors (we found the perfect ones for our outdoor spring wedding!). The best part of getting your dresses from Jcrew, however, is the fast and easy process. Most of my bridesmaid dresses didn’t need alterations, because the sizing is normal, unlike many bridesmaid lines. We got the dresses in just a few days, so its great if you need to try a variety of dresses on or if you have a shorter engagement (some of the dress companies timeframe on shipments were longer than our entire engagement!).

My sister Mom and I searched everywhere for the Bridesmaid Dress and finally found one at J Crew! after getting the (all sales final) dress delivered to our home my sister tried it on and it was to big and the wrong colour... we called J Crew up and they were so wonderful and let us return the dress and find a new one! Thank You J Crew you didn't have to do that!

I'm not using J. Crew for my wedding, but I just wore one of their dresses as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents. There were six of us bridesmaids, and we each got a navy blue cotton embossed beach dress (three strapless, one halter, and two shifts). We are all different shapes, so it was great to have a choice as to the cut - and the price certainly couldn't be beat! The ceremony was at the beach, so the casual style was perfect - and so wearable in the future. Nothing bridesmaid-y about them at all. Note: I think J. Crew runs quite large, so order down, or better yet, try on at the store. I love their petites!

I loved my wedding dress!! It was absolutely gorgeous, exactly what I had in mind, and just as bridal-looking as if I'd bought it at a couture bridal salon. The best part - I paid just over $200, and no alterations were necessary.

My wife bought wedding shoes from J Crew via the internet. She told me that they were comfortable all night and that I should include this in the review for other brides. lol

It's ain't easy trying to find size 11, ivory flats. I bought and returned about a dozen pairs of shoes. Even DH bought me shoes during our hunt. I finally got the most amazing pair of shoes I have ever owned from jcrew. And with a coupon!
I knew I didn't want anything "traditional" for the girls. They're just too hip for poofy. :) I fell in love with a dress on jcrew.com and then stalked the website for months waiting for them to go on sale. I bought extra dresses to make sure we had the right sizes for the girls. Returns at the store were really easy.

The dresses were beautiful and fuctioanl. they can def. wear them again. I was looking for something that would ook great on all of my maids and be nice for a wedding. The Lyndsay dress was perfect.

I always love JCrew and was so excited that they started offering BM dresses. The dresses were simple and elegant and for sure something my girls can wear again. And since I purchased all the dresses for them, pricing was important to me. With J Crew, I felt I didn't compensate the quality even though the price was great.

I am wearing the JCrew Avery dress, which retailed for $295 at the time I purchased it. IMO, the quality is comparable to dresses that are in the $2k plus range because: it is 100% silk, is fully lined, fits wonderfully, and the craftsmanship is great. The customer service representatives are very knowledgable and helpful, as well. I especially love the way the dress photographs, it looks like the softest, most glamorous silk in photos.

The dresses looked great and were very high quality. However, my Matron of Honor found out she was pregnant right after she ordered her dress. Note that J Crew does not have a friendly return policy. She ended up being stuck with the first dress and had to buy another one.

My bridesmaids are wearing dresses from JCrew's "weddings and parties" line and have had a good experience selecting their dresses online. JCrew has a "special occasions" hotline, where specialists answer all your questions about various fabrics, colors, sizes, etc. and can send you swatches of the different fabrics in your colors. My bridesmaids liked being able to order "normal" sizes (including petite and tall sizes) and have been able to receive and return their dresses easily when there have been any sizing or fit issues. A couple of them even say that they'll be able to wear their dresses again, after the wedding! (I'm hoping they're not just being nice...:) )

I'm wearing the Avery gown that I purchased from JCrew.com and it's perfect. The silk feels so luxurious and drapes beautifully. I was lucky enough to buy it when it was on sale for $250. It's the easiest decision I've made in this whole wedding planning process.
Highly recommended!!!

I ordered J Crew dresses for my bridesmaids too! =) As the previous reviewers said, J Crew is great! They are so easy to work with for returns and sizing, and have a lot of great sales! The quality of the dress is really great and I love how it doesn't look like a typical bridesmaids dress so the girls can wear it again.
I ordered four beach embossed dresses in rosebud (two halter, two strapless). Got them on sale for $70 each by calling in on the phone at the store (the salesperson did everything for me, I just told them my order and my credit card info).
Random tip: if you order the catalog item from the store, you don't have to pay for shipping!

We found perfect beach wedding bridesmaid's dresses for a great price (under $200). And actually just recently the style went on sale, making the dresses even more appealing.
The return policy is simple and fair, plus the shipping goes from standard to overnight so if the girls wait until last minute we are still covered.
Haven't seen the dresses yet, but they should be arriving soon!

I wanted something simple for my flowergirls so I went with long, white dresses from J. Crew. We tied a sash around the waist to add a bit of color. They had glittery flats from J.Crew and they looked adorable!

I ordered J Crew dresses for my bridesmaids - nothing but praise!! They were so easy to work with in ordering and returning to perfect the sizing! I definitely recommend J Crew. And the bonus, the girls can wear the dresses again.

I searched what seemed like every bridal store in Portland looking for a simple dress. I never understood why, when I would go into a store, I would sit down with a sales rep, tell them exactly what I was looking for and then be brought a bunch of dresses that were nothing like what I wanted. I decided to narrow my search and start looking at sites that might not be tagged as ‘bridal’. I ended up with a dress from Jcrew that was exactly what I wanted! Their customer service was extremely helpful and they got me a fantastic price! ($80!)

J.Crew was the perfect choice for clothing for our seaside wedding. We both found exactly what we were looking for. I found a great dress on sale for only $99! Although you may not find a deal like that, I highly recommend J.Crew for any bride on a budget. The only catch is you need to order the dress in order to try it on. As far as I know, J.Crew does not carry any of the wedding dresses they offer in the store. My DH found a well-made suit that he felt comfortable in. J.Crew even did all of his alterations for free. Another little trick for budget brides, order in the store and the shipping is free!

I used J.Crew which was convenient for my wedding party since they were all located in different cities and states. I picked out a dress and emailed a picture of it to them for their comments and approval. J. Crew provided me with fabric samples that I could pass on to the florists, caterer, etc. The special wedding consultant there gave great service. She was a fantastic communicator, make follow up calls to me and the girls and made me feel very confident that all the ordering was taken care of. Sizes were easy to exchange and the price was reasonable. The styles also make the dresses appropriate for after-wedding wear. They arrived boxed neatly and correctly and they looked great on the girls.

I went dress shopping with my mother for her mother-of-the-bride dress! I think it's really important to make sure that the mother looks just as beautiful as the bride, and I wanted my mother to have something special to wear. She's young, barely 54 years old, and I hated the MOTB dresses that they were selling at bridal shops. We went to J Crew and we found the nicest dress for her! It was her first time at the store, and she was really impressed at the great quality of clothing, and also by the great sales they have. We chose a really beautiful cocktail dress, which was good for our vintage theme, and she also bought really beautiful jewelry there to match the dress. The sales girls there were really nice and helpful, too.

The J Crew staff in the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale did a fantastic job of helping me choose dresses for four bridesmaids. We chose some great sundresses for our outdoor Florida summer wedding that were classy, comfortable, and practical for other occasions. The bridesmaids were stoked to wear such cool dresses!

It took me a while to find the bridesmaid dresses that would compliment the different body shapes, while sticking to a budget for my girls. I found the dress at Jcrew.com an early Saturday morning during a sale, and knew I had to act fast with the price being offered. I wasn’t able to get all the sizes I needed immediately, but after contacting their wedding department, they offered to put my name on a list with the dress, color, and sizes that I was looking for and were very diligent in finding the last two dresses with plenty of time for alterations. I couldn’t recommend them enough if you like their style.

I bought my wedding dress at J.Crew for Cheaper than I thought. I was going to pay about $230, and then when I called into their customer service line to order it they were really helpful and it had gone on sale to $124. I was super lucky and super happy with it.

I wanted my bridesmaids dresses to be young and fun looking. I actually wanted them to look like fairies and to wear wings, but everyone told me that was a horrible idea, even my husband! I didn’t mind. We went to J Crew, before it became popular by our president’s wife, to look at dresses. They have great dresses, and a great bridal section. We took a tip from one of the sales girls there to look at the online catalogue to see what was on sale. We got our bridesmaids dresses for 75% off! It was a great deal, and the dresses were still the same great quality! Because we had been to the store we knew what sizes J Crew fit each bridesmaids. The dresses they had on sale at the store were also really incredible, the only problem was that we couldn’t find three dresses the same. I really suggest looking online at the catalogue after going to the store.

Been noticing a lot of bridesmaids dresses from J Crew and they are great. Definitely something that you would wear again, for sure.

I found the cutest dress, purse and shoes for our flower girl. They put the flower girl at ease and made her have a fun day. She loved trying on different outfits, it made her feel like a princess.

I bought my dress on clearance! It wasn't an official wedding dress, just a beautiful, simple white tapestry patterned aline dress. I ordered two sizes and returned the one that didn't fit. I did have it altered, but I still spent less on my wedding dress than I have on most bridesmaids dresses. Also, I let my bridesmaids wear whatever they wanted. I don't really get the concept of having them match...

I was recently in a wedding and the bride picked the cotton cady dress collection for us. Since they are catalog/internet only, I ordered two sizes so I could return the one that didn't fit. The zippers on both of them were very low quality. They caught on the fabric and their own teeth, even on the hanger. I ordered a third one, hoping for a better dress. It wasn't much better at all, but I figured it wasn't worth it to keep having new dresses shipped to me. The material wrinkled a lot and I was nervous about the zipper until I took it off at the end of the night. I don't think it was worth the high price tag.
Two of the other bridesmaids' dresses noticed that their dresses were slightly different colors, even though we ordered them all together.
Every time I had to call J.Crew, they were very nice to me, but I'm still not impressed with the quality of the dress.

A big reason I chose JCrew for my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses was the ease of ordering. With all the size issues and alterations needed with the typical bridesmaid dresses, JCrew dresses are true to size. They also work well if you have tall or petite girls because they offer those lengths. You can also get fabric color swatches by contacting their Wedding Specialist, who is very knowledgeable on their products, either via email or phone.

I just loved how Sophia looked on my bridesmaids. All my girls looked AMAZING! I refused to buy Briddesmaid dress from wedding dress shop because no matter how pretty they are they probably won't be worn ever again. And I think I made the right choice buying the dresses from J.Crew, they are so pretty and wearable they can wear them to about any occasion! My girls loved them too.
I've had a number of weddings that I've photographed who have used J.Crew for their wedding party attire, and I have heard only wonderful things about them. Their prices are a bit higher than if you were to go to a bridal shop, but in my opinion, the quality is much higher!
I absolutely love J Crew bridal for the modern bride and bridal party. I am a photographer and have done photo shoots using their dresses, and have had nothing but great feedback regarding their quality, fit, and fashion-forward designs. You can not go wrong with a dress from here, it makes my job that much easier when the bride looks fabulous!
Beautiful affordable dresses for the Bride and Bridesmaids.
J. Crew has so much to choose from for brides. Jewelry, Attire, shoes etc.
