J Major's has a beautiful gown collection from quality designers in a wide price range. However, I find that the alterations was quite difficult to work with. I purchased a gown there which I ended up not wearing because of an alterations nightmare. For some reason they could not make the dress fit properly, where I could actually breathe in it, and still look good on my body. It was not a fun experience to say the least. In the end they did help us consign the never worn gown and the manager was very kind and apologetic. The sales team is nice - ask them lots and lots of questions. I should have done that, but did not.

Jmajor's is a great place to get a wedding dress. They were very helpful in making appointments and very caring about my wedding dress when it came in way too late. They were very careful in calling the company and making sure it came in on time. Thank you!

J Major's bridal boutique had a beautiful selection of dresses. I only went there and found the dress that was perfect for me. I also selected my bridesmaid dresses from J Majors. The sales associates, for the most part, were helpful but others were a little snooty. Many of my bridesmaids said that they weren't helpful and when they asked to try on their dress they needed to go in a bathroom. Since they were paying customers I don't think that is very appropriate. There were also times where I had scheduled an appointment but waited up to 30 minutes (while standing in my wedding gown) to be sized. However, my dress did turn out beautiful. I would just take their service with a grain of salt.

I bought my dress and my brides maids dresses from Jay Majors. I was so happy with the very first dress I tried on. The staff was warm and welcoming. My girls were very pleased with their dresses and the prices were extremely reasonable. I love the quality of dresses I found in the store and how easy it was to get everything in one place.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bridesmaid dresses at this store. I worked with the manager there and her name was Shea. She was very thorough and extremely nice. She showed us lots of dresses but I had one style in mind which is what we ultimately decided on. The shop has many many styles of bridesmaid dresses and they had some gorgeous wedding gowns as well. They only take a couple of appointments for each time slot so it was not crazy in the store while we were there. It was a very relaxing and stress free process. I definitely recommend this shop for bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns.

This was the shop that we found my wedding dress. I bought out-of-state (I live in Michigan, they are in North Carolina) while visiting my grandmother. They were able to incorporate shipping, and sent the dress as soon as it arrived. My consultant was great to work with, and had some really great ideas to make the dresses "mine" rather than just off the rack. She was also very knowledgable about the designers and about what changes different designers would make to their gowns (availability of different fabrics/colors, or different lace patters, accessories also made by the designer, etc). It was agreat day, and I loved my dress--I felt like a princess.

I got a really beautiful Ann Barge La Fleur collection bridal gown from J. Major's Bridal Boutique. It was very nice as they only accept appointments and the consultation was one on one so you gain a lot of information and not only that they really help you get what you want and exactly what you want. They helped me until I was satisfed and I was very satisfied with the Bridal Gown I got from them for my wedding. I trusted them and they came through for me and I was really excited with the bridal gown I got. I also got lots of compliments about the bridal gown I got from them. Everyone wanted to know where I got my bridal gown from.

J Majors is the wedding dress experience like you see it in movies. They are very attentive, and usually have the same person helping you each time you go in so you really build a relationship. The dress selection is great; there is something there for everyone. I will say, they are a high end shop, so if you're looking to get a deal, look on. They do have trunk shows where you can get dresses that were once display for a fraction of the cost and usually offer discounts on the regular line. My experience, I walked in and fell in love with a dress that wasn't in the trunk show.

Two cautions I will give you, 1. Don’t necessarily use the seamstress they refer you to. I am large breasted but have a small waist, and picked a form fitting dress, which everyone, including the seamstress, assured me would NOT droop in the front and expose me, well, cut to the last fitting and my boobs are looking more like Marilyn Monroe than bridal ready. So I was disappointed that the dress was more revealing than I thought it would be. 2. Ask specific questions about concerns you have with the dress fit. All the times I went into the store they held the dress up and said it would look like that after alterations, then the alterations lady tells me at the LAST fitting, there is no way it would stay up where I would have wanted it. Had I known I would have chosen a different dress. I don't like viewing my wedding pictures, and was super self conscious all day. Though I asked them, I didn't really drive home the point of how uncomfortable I would be if the dress was lower in the chest, so just make certain no matter where you get your dress from to make yourself very clear on what you don't want.

J. Majors was a great place to shop for a wedding dress. They take you around, show you the different desigeners and styles of dresses, then you go and place markers on the dresses you want them to bring to your dressing room. They pin you and you come out on a pedastool and you get the 360 view of the dress. One girl was assigned to me and she was very helpful and nice. I also got my bridesmaids/flowergirls dresses from there as well. They have a great selection of desiger dresses as well as deifferent styles. Would highly reccomend.
