I've worked with Jack Hecker on one wedding I coordinated. His work is excellent - well worth the price tag. He's got that "eye", he works hard, and he can make anyone look fabulous. I highly reccomend him. If photography is something that's important to you, give him a call.

Jack is the most patient photographer I have ever met. Not only does he make you feel so comfortable, you don't even know he is there! Jack did our engagement and wedding photos and is truly the brightest star in his field. He has the eye for making the simplest shot be the most amazing picture you have ever seen. Jack is well worth the wait to see the pictures he comes up with- I have never been more amazed in my life as to what photos could look like. I highly reccommend that you let Jack Hecker make the memories that last a lifetime of your big day!

Jack Hecker is amazing! The only word to describe his photography, and his presence as the photographer is, PERFECTION!

We first did an engagement session with Jack in June 2008. He was so patient and flexible, and rescheduled our engagement session three times so that we could do it on a day with the perfect weather for Bodega Bay pictures. Besides the fact that his pictures are stunning, he is fantastic to work with. He is so easy going that it's like having a close friend handing out with you all day. Other than the formal photos in which he gave us instructions, he acted as an observer of the wedding, taking photographs and in unobtrusive manner. He also really impressed our friends and family. When Jack saw one of my friends taking pictures with a semi-pro camera he pulled her aside and explained to her why he liked that shot and how the lighting on the porch was perfect for pictures. She was raving about how she had never met another professional photographer like him, willing to teach her to take better photos. Other friends and family members commented on how fantastic Jack is, and my brother in law who took over 1000 pictures just at the rehearsal said that Jack was so impressive that he wasn't going to bother taking any pictures at the wedding.

When taking pictures of me and my husband at sunset in the vineyard, Jack gave us direction in the most natural way. He'd casually say, now your about to give your wife a small peck on the cheek; I see you walking a little in that direction; wouldn't it look nice if you put your hand against that post and leaned back... Taking pictures with Jack as the photographer was really fun and natural. His assistant, Sharon, was also terrific.

I can't wait to see the final pictures. I know they will be amazing, although we will really miss working with Jack. I should also add that Jack arrived at 9:30am to take pictures of us getting ready and stayed until the end of the wedding at 10pm. We really appreciated him being there to document the entire day.

Jack Hecker is a photographer you can count on to provide you with the most beautiful wedding shots possible. All of his work is excellent, he can adapt to your style, he has personality and grace, and a calm about him that makes you really comfortable. He knows how to use light and shadow and whatever is around in the background to create photos that are impressive, professional, and that capture something that you couldn't have thought up yourself. He also provides you with the photos in a timely manner.
Basically he not only is a talented photographer and artist, but a great person, a vendor that is a friend, who would have thought...

I couldn't be happier with Jack. Not only does he have a calming and patient disposition, he has a special touch with the men who hate getting their pics taken. My husband loved Jack, and that is saying a lot for a guy who does not enjoy ever getting his picture taken. Jack did an amazing job with our huge family, and I know he got some amazing pictures. He has a great eye and his assistant is great too. If you want AMAZING pictures of the best day of your life, you need to hire Jack!!

Jack was an amazing part of our wedding! Not only is he highly professional and extremely nice and patient, he does amazing work! I am very particular about photography, and after meeting with several vendors I decided to go with Jack. It was one of the best decisions I make during planning, and we just got our pictures back - they took my breath away! Jack is seriously talented and I couldn't recommend him highly enough! The best darn photographer around...ok I don't know this for a fact but he is so talented and nice. The pics are in now...he is great!
At the wedding he isn't in anyones way, did whatever we asked (in most cases he did it before we asked). He also brings Nancy - who is very talented in her own right.
Our location is hard to shoot (large and dark) so we knew he was the man for our job.

Jack is the BEST! I have worked with him on so many weddings and Highly recommend him. He is very talented and does beautiful work.
