Jacob truly is the best at what he does!!!!! He takes the most beautiful photos and really tries to give his clients the best! He goes above and beyond... he would stay an extra hour, even though he wasnt being payed. His photography is truly his art so he puts extra TLC into every client. He took over a thousand photos on my wedding day and all of them are amazing. He has blown me away each time. i did an E session, Boudoir photos, Save the date photos, and the wedding photos with him and I love them all!!!!! I also purchased an album from him and am really excited to see the end result! He is also pretty cheap compared to other photographers! He for sure is the BEST in his class, by far!!! Bottom line is that you will be blown away by him and his work no matter what. My family and friends are just in awe of my wedding photos. Hong, was my second shooter for the day and he was amazing too! I would recommend him to EVERYONE!!!

There is something to say about vendors who truly understand and see how important your wedding day is to you and your husband. Jacob was absolutely fantastic not only at his art but also at helping us with even the most simple details that you would never have thought of, but made all the difference in the world. He truly cares about the people that he is working with, loves his art and is absolutley fantastic at it. His experience and his talent show in the way he works with you, the advise that he gives and his prospective on everything from the engagement shoot, to the ceremony to the reception. He is a lot of fun to work with, always smiling and always making sure that you are having a good time. I will, without a doubt, hire Jacob again! I knew about Jacob Galleries from this website, and after seeing some of his previous works online I decided to meet up with him. My first impression of Jacob was not only that he's a kind hearted and sincere person, but also an outstanding photographer. He truly cared for our wedding, and even went the extra miles to make sure that the most special day in our life would be perfect as it should be. There were times when I was struggling with the wedding planning, and he came across as a good friend with useful suggestions. On our wedding day, we did have so much fun with Jacob and he didn't mind to work the extra hours since both of our families couldn't get enough of the camera haha..The pictures were ready couple of weeks after the wedding, and like people say " a picture is worth a thousand words", our pictures are just amazingly speak for themselves. I found Jacob on this website and was excited to hear all the wonderful reviews other brides have given him. After meeting him, I was super excited about his passion and professionalism and knew he was a perfect match for our wedding. He is very reliable, hardworking, and caring. Our pictures came out beautifully and were ready within 2 weeks! I forgot to mention our essession photos! They are gorgeous!

Update: The only draw back which can be positive/negative is that Jacob is extremely busy. My husband and I haven't received our wedding video yet. We will be married one year next month 1/16. This would be okay if our contract stated this but according to the contract, we should have rec'd it in June. We haven't begun to work on our wedding album either which on average a bride starts 6 months after the wedding (according to Jacob). One other tip or advise, don't pay for all your services until the job(s) is completed.

Jacob was very artistic, hard-working, and dedicated. He makes even mundane shots look amazing. We had a great experience with him for both our e-Session and wedding. His pictures were delivered promptly as promised, although his picture dimensions make it slightly difficult to frame. Overall, we highly recommend him. He is a great find.

Let me just start by saying that we absolutely LOVED LOVED working with Jacob...We were actually very fortunate in winning a free engagement session with him at a bridal show and I am SO glad that we did because we loved his style of photography (artsy, edgy, beautiful) and his personality...I am not a photogenic person but Jacob was able to capture some moments that made me and my now husband look AMAZING in our engagement pictures. We had so much fun with him and he made us feel like gorgeous models.. Not only that, but Jacob was able to make me laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera and thats why we booked him for our 10/09 wedding. I get SO SO many compliments when I show people our pictures that I know we made the right decision and look forward to working with him in the future. He is not your typical wedding photographer who will pose you in cheesey poses, he really is very artistic and your pictures will look straight out of a magazine..If this is your style, do not hesitate in contacting Jacob....

Jacob is the man ! We found him on this site and were thrilled with the artistic feel of his pictures (as I am an artist, myself), so we decided to contact him. He agreed to cover our wedding, even though it was on such a short notice, and I must say we are VERY happy with the pictures he delivered. They are timeless and will age very well. You can definitely tell that photography is a passion for Jacob. He is incredibly talented, both on the artistic side and the photojournalism side. He is gifted at using the surroundings and getting a pose out of you and compose his shots perfectly, yet at other times he can make himself invisible and capture people's attitudes and feelings without them noticing. Very versatile. On top of that, he is a great smily guy, who will give his clients the best of himself and all the energy he has. On the day of the event, rather than just a vendor, I felt like Jacob was like a friend helping us out. I definitely recommend his services to everyone.

How can I start with Sun Shine(nickname I gave him because he is always smiling) We originally hired Jacob as a wedding photographer, but as my fiance and I got to know Jacob on how lovely and talented he was..My fiance and I decided to also get him to do our wedding invitations, engagement session and now after the wedding our "trash the dress" session .We knew that this was the guy that we could TRUST on no matter what we needed! he will be there for us. Jacob was always available to us, he always picked up our phone calls and always solved any kind of question that we had... It all began with our letter press wedding invitations!! I decided to get materials on my own because I wanted an specific color.. as I figured that it wasn't as "easy" as I thought it would be ..I didn't have materials available when he asked for them I had just gotten the right kind of paper and when I finally delivered the paper for the invitations ...I was very LATE... In fact I showed up on his door step very late at night and he opened the door to me(pls don't do this..I was panicking) .It was all my fault .but he figured out how to get the work done so I can send my invitations on time . Jacob and his wife Livia stayed up all night working on my invitations ..and somehow ..He still delivered on TIME ?.and for that I will be eternally grateful !!!!!!!!!!! Jacob designed a one of a kind invitation for us and Our invitations were beautiful!!!!I Perhaps, there are more than words that can describe our gratitude. Jacob was such an amazing photographer; he was nice, diligent, sweet, professional and always, always there!! I was panicking the day of the wedding..but Jacob made me feel confident and he had everything under control . He keep everybody on their toes ..thanks to him we were not late for the ceremony?(first time in my life that I was on time for something). And I Cannot forget the fact that his pictures, the Japanese handmade signing book, were adorable and were personalized with letter press for us ?everything was one of a kind just like my fairy tale wedding and If you are the kind of bride that need to be in constant contact with your vendors (if you are a perfectionist, and u have been planning your wedding for years ?.HE IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU. The only regret after my wedding was that I didn?t hired Jacob as a main shooter , he was my second shooter ?we got pretty good shots but not the complete magic. Reason why he wasn?t haired as a main shooter was because; we had hired a photo-videographer before meeting Jacob so we couldn?t back down on the other one?..Never the less, I recommend Jacob 200% !!!!He is affordable, he always has promotions, and he just simply the BEST!!!!

Jacob is a photographer first and business man second. His passion for art and honesty make him the best kind of photographer. If you are looking for traditional.. Jacob is not you guy. We drove to unusual places that I have never been, stood in awkward positions and got out of our comfort zone to get the most unique and meaningful set of pictures. We had a blast! He is so enthusiastic about everything and makes the whole experience more enjoyable. He is flexible and all around good guy. After the wedding, our schedules were not working out to pick up the pictures. So instead of waiting for the pictures to be mailed, he insisted on hand delivering the pictures to my house an hour out of his way. He goes above and beyond his duties of photographer to make him feel less like a vendor and more like a friend. Best of all.. he could charge three times as much for his work and he knows it.. but doesn't!

Jacob was wonderful. We loved him ever since our first meeting. He puts so much thought into everything he does. He's great for capturing everything going on you might have missed. He won't get your typical everyone stand here and smile shots but there's a ton of people at your wedding for those. Jacob seems to be able to capture the emotions and feel of your day.

I've had so many people comment on how great our engagement pictures were and much they were looking forward to seeing how our wedding pictures would turn out even before walking down the aisle. He works too hard for his own good but you can definitely the fruits of his labor in the pictures. Spend 1/2 hr with him and you'll see what we're all talking about.

Words can not express, how good Jacob is.He is awesome and just has an eye for that great shot. I could not ask for anything better in a photographer. I did my engagement session and my wedding with him and it was great, on top of that he is a blast to work with. My husband, who is timid and shy, was comfortable the first time we worked with him at the engagement session and that says a lot, believe me. I am obsessed at how wonderful and artistic our pictures came out, also we received our pictures within two weeks, which is amazing. Would highly recommend him, it would not be a mistake. He just has that it factor,he works hard, and it shows, just look at his pictures, they say it all.

I love to meet people who are postive, have good energy, and are truly genuine. When you meet Jacob you just know that he is completley passionate about his work, you dont feel pressured at all to book with him, he makes you feel so comfortable. So I booked him for my e session and my wedding. I was somewhat worried for the e session because my husband is a little timid, but he completly came out of his shell, Jacob just has this comfortability about him, he is just a blast to work with. My husband and I just a had so much fun at are e session, not only that are pictures came out beautiful. He just has his mine set on getting that perfect shot and he works so hard to get all those little details in, I love it! What more can I say, he is truly amazing. Also I recieved my wedding pictures within two weeks, I could not believe it and they are wonderful. You know every girl dreams of that perfect day, not only that to have those lasting memories, he captured all that and more. I could not have asked for anything more in a photographer.One more thing when you meet him two weeks later after the wedding, he makes this beatiful story telling book of your wedding. Just to show how amazing Jacob's work is. I showed my Aunts the picture that he gave us and they got chills and even cried because he capture those unforgatable moments that go on your wedding day, and makes them come alive again through his pictures. Just look at the images they say it all!

We met with several other photographers during our search, and Jacob was the last one we saw and interviewed. Within minutes of meeting him, my husband and I both knew we wanted him as our engagement and wedding photographer. He seemed like such a pleasant, genuine, and fun guy to work with (great qualities of him we eventually found to be true). We ended up booking a lot of the services Jacob provided and offered, and were very pleased with his work. This photographer goes out of his way to make sure youwill have great quality (and quantity of) photos. We scheduled our eSession with him, but weren't able to finish the session; Jacob did a 2nd session for us for free (he offered to; we didn't even think about asking!). That's the kind of service we would hope from all our vendors. He worked really hard for us, and we definitely got our money's worth! He has an artistic eye and the quality of his prints is great. We also really wanted a photographer who would respect what we wanted of our wedding, but who ould also express his honest opinion about certain ideas. Jacob did just that! My husband and I would recommend him to anyone!

To be honest, I wasn't totally pleased. Although Jacob is nice, I was disheartened by his demanding attitude. Nothing I suggested was heard and he just made things difficult. Everything I asked for wasn't done. I asked to take pictures of the tables and guests, yet this didn't happen. He even promised me he would do this, and didn't apoligize for it after the fact. Also, if you check out his website you will notice his pictures are lovely and creative, yet the faces of people aren't featured. He doesn't do close-ups and when he does, he doesn't get a good image. I think as a second photographer he would work well due to his keen eye for light and other inanimate objects. Yet insofar as people, he doesn't know how to focus on them, their day. Brides you will agree with me if you take a look at his site. I hope he works on this in the future since I do think he loves his work and takes this critque well.

We're very pleased to have Jacob do an eSession with us and photograph our wedding. It was obvious from his portfolio that he is a creative photographer and produces great photos. What also pleased us was his working style... he is really fun to work with and really knows what he's doing. He is very good at communicating instructions and works quickly and efficiently. I had my day planned to see three different photographers. Jacob was my first appointment. The meeting was awesome! I really loved his work, and his energy! I let him know I would get back to him after we I was done meeting with the other photographers that same day. I left knowing I wanted him for my wedding day, however my friend insisted I continue to my next appointment. We went to our 2nd appointment and was in and out in 5 minutes. Right there I knew I did not want to waste my time with any other photographers. I booked Jacob for my fall wedding and I am so happy I did! Jacob is great at responding to my emails or phone calls. He is full of energy and life and it shows in your photos! My husband and I truly where happy with Jacob! He has great deals, and we truly felt that this was not something that Jacob was doing for the money but because it is his passion! Thank you Jacob! I hired Jacob as my 2nd photographer after falling in love with his work I'd seen online from other local brides. My then fiance and I met with him at his studio and was even more blown away with his true talent and passion. In fact, I don't think I've ever met anyone so passionate about their work! Jacob was always very professional, accessible, punctual, and simply on top of everything. His pictures are stunning and I highly recommend him!

Jacob is an absolute dream to work with! He is hardworking, flexible and he is an amazing artist. From the first time we met him, he made us very comfortable and was very honest and upfront with his work. He takes the time to get to know his clients which allows him to add a touch of sentimentality to his photos. Best of all, he is very affordable and he will work with your budget. Jacob Galleries was great to work with at the Rockwell wedding in 2009. From a Dj's standpoint, they were easy to work with the day of the wedding.
