Will I know who my photographer is prior to the wedding? We typically match you up with your photographer immediately based on the information you provide us as well as our photographers’ availability. When you sign a contract with us, you’re also signing one with the photographer, locking them in for your wedding day. Who will be my second shooter? We’re fortunate enough to have a pool of second shooters who work with us continuously. All second shooters are experienced, professional photographers, and – since personality is such a huge part of what makes Click. unique - they’re really great people too. We typically select your second shooter 1-2 months prior to your wedding. What happens if my photographer is sick on my wedding day? One of the great benefits of working with a studio is that in case of an emergency, there’s always another photographer to step in – even better: another creative, unobtrusive, photojournalistic photographer who you can feel comfortable spending one of the most important days of your life with. What type of equipment do you use? All of our photographers are equipped with professional cameras, flashes & lenses with back-ups (and more back-ups). What type of post-production work do you do? After the wedding, we take the full collection of photos, weed out any that aren't up to Click. standards and color correct them. Then, we open each file individually and make them look the best that they can. This may include removing any noticeable blemishes or converting them to black&white, sepia or various other treatments. What's your approach to formal portraits? Should I provide a shot list? Weddings are one of the few times the whole extended family gets together, so we do think formal portraits are important. That being said, we see no reason for them to be boring, stiff or stuffy! Our formals are relaxed, and with the help of your shot list, we're able to finish them in no time so that you and your guests can get back to celebrating. How do you feel about videographers? When we arrive on the day of your wedding, one of the first things we do is introduce ourselves to your videographer (and your other vendors) and iron out the details to ensure that we all do our jobs best without stepping on anyone else’s toes. That being said, we've worked closely with Nate over at Reaching Roots Studios and highly recommend him. What type of attire do you wear to weddings? Professionalism and unobtrusiveness is a key part of what makes Click. shooters who we are – so don’t worry, you won’t catch anyone in jeans and neon tshirts. Do you provide preparation coverage of both the bride and groom? Typically, your primary shooter will cover the bridal preparations while the second shooter will cover the groomsmen. Can other people take photos while you’re taking photos? We don’t mind other photographs being taken during the ceremony and reception, but during your formal portraits, we ask to be the only photographers. In order to give you the best photos possible, we need everyone’s full, undivided attention. Do I need to provide meal for my photographer? Is there anything else I should request from my venue? Please request that your venue provide a table near an outlet in the room where the reception will take place (if an alternative dining location is provided, please ensure that it is within earshot of the reception) & a meal for each shooter present. Additionally, the best time for us to eat is while you eat, since that’s not the most flattering time to have your photo taken. Plus, by having us served at the same time you do ensures that we won’t miss any of the fun later on. How many weddings do you shoot per year? All of our photographers have a 20 wedding annual limit, ensuring that you receive photos from a fresh perspective in a timely manner. When will my photos be available to me? Your photos will be available to you within one month – but we like to send you previews within the first few weeks. Who retains copyright of my images? While you have full rights to reprint any of the images on your disc, Click. Photography retains the copyright to the photographs. This means that any of the photos we take can be used for promotional purposes & that if you elect to share the photos publicly, we ask that you give us credit by linking back to our website. Do you have insurance and can you provide a copy of your insurance certificate for my venue? Yes, we do have liability insurance and we will be happy to fax a certificate to your venue if they require one. What’s the payment structure like? What types of payment do you take? What is your cancellation and refund policy? Payment is broken down into three parts. The first installment acts as a non-refundable retainer, which holds your date. The second is due one month prior to your wedding. The final installment is due upon completion of your online gallery. Your discs will be available to you upon receipt and clearance of your final installment. If you wish to exchange payment for final product in person, final payment must be made in cash or bank check. For all other payments and payments by mail, we accept personal checks. All payments are non-refundable. Will you hold my date for me? Unfortunately, we are unable to hold your date without a signed contract and deposit. We are happy to let you know if there is someone else inquiring about your date though! Are there any hidden fees I should know about? We’re not big fans of hidden fees, which is why we include taxes and travel within a 100 mile radius of our studio in our package prices. Do you travel further than 100 miles for weddings? Absolutely! Destination weddings are priced on a case-by-case basis. What type & how much assistance will you provide in designing my album? Album design can be a very tedious process, so we like to make it as simple as possible for you. Once you choose to order an album, we design the entire layout using the best photos from your day and post it online for you to review. You are then welcome to indicate any changes you’d like to make. Your album doesn’t go to print until we have your full approval. Do you offer other photographic services? We currently offer family, kids, newborn, maternity, professional and senior portrait sessions, headshots, product, interiors and more.
