Jacqueline's was extremely helpful and flexible. I live in VA but got married in Rochester, NY so they fitted me when I went home at random times before the wedding. I worked with the same seamstress every time and she listened to my needs. The only issue was during a fitting she poked herself with a pin and got some blood on my dress, I was horrified! BUT Jacqueline's paid for the dress to be cleaned and pressed. They also didn't charge me extra for a 4th fitting when they normally only do 3. Also, I had purchased my dress from them two years earlier and the wedding got called off. Jacqueline's had no problem with me bringing the dress back for my fitting two years later and didn't charge me additional fees for doing so.

This is not your typical pushy bridal salon! The others that I went to focused on high pressure sales tactics, but Jacqueline's offered advice when necessary and was not overly vocal. I found the PERFECT wedding dress, and we were able to negotiate price (it was past season). They were great to work with!

I would never in a million years go back to this store. After making the sale in February for my September wedding, I didn't hear from them until the end of august. When I called to request a swatch of the material, they said they would see what they could do and I never received it. I was forced to do three fitting in 3 weeks. I was from out of town and they were well aware that my trip was time consuming. Furthermore, they moved stores from a beautiful shop where I purchased the dress to a little shabby store down the street. When I went to have my first fitting, the seamstress was not there and the dressing room was about 4x4. There were straight pins all over the floor and they didn't have anything to lay on the floor to protect the dress. The icing on the cake was when after the "second fitting" which was truly the first fitting since it was the first time I saw the seamstress, they told me the alterations were $450. Amazing that back in February, the salewomen made the sale by claiming that all alterations were included in their ridiculous price. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! Get everything in writing if you unfortunately purchase your dress there. THe owner is more concerned with making a fast buck than ensuring your dress is the dress of your dreams. There are numerous other places to buy dresses!

Unfortunately Jacqueline's Bridal was the WORST part of my wedding planning/process. I ordered my dress 11 and a half months ahead of time and it came 3 weeks before the wedding! They said it would take 6 - 9 months for the dress to come in! Needless to say we were not happy. In addition to this, for two entire months I called asking where my dress was and they lied to me, giving me a new excuse every time. My mother then got involved... they gave her a different story. It finally took my father to threaten them to get my dress to come in. Come to find out...it was ready to be shipped to Rochester 2 months prior, it was sitting in the warehouse the entire time! Again, Jacqueline's was the worst experience in my wedding process. No bride needs stress like that - there's already plenty to worry about! Sadly, I'm not the only one I know that had this experience... the more I share this story, the more horror stories I hear from there! STAY AWAY FROM JACQUELINES! P.S. The only reason why I am giving them one star is because I have to on this post!!! They don't even deserve that!

I bought my dress in rochester from jacquelines. I flew back twice for my fittings. The seamstress was rude and pushy and she also didnt listen to what I had to say. I wanted the dress to touch the ground and she said that I would trip. I said I wanted the dress fitted and she said she didnt want me to rip it when I sat down. After they shipped it to my house and I tried it on, it still was huge, one side was longer than the other, it was inches off the ground, and the top part was not the same either. They would not let me return it and said that they would pay for shorter shoes, when I had the shoes on during the alterations. DO NOT buy your dress from them. They are rude and do not alter dresses correctly at all

I went in and had a great time picking out the greatest dress at jaquelines. They were all very nice and helpful. Then after I ordered the dress.....forget about it. I ordered my dress in March for my wedding and she said there would be no problem getting it in. So, then the month of arrival came and I was told 3 different times my dress would be there on a certain date and each time I would call that afternoon and find out it never came. Not to mention, no one would actually ever call me to let me know, which I found out after the first time. Marcia was never very understanding that it was getting close to the wedding and I was freaking out. I was traveling from syracuse to get the dress, so not easy to fit in fittings. Finally I called and asked to speak wih marcia about my dress, and I was told "It will be here tomorrow" and I said " How do you know?" (Being the 3rd time I did this) and the receptionist said "Um cause marica is sitting right next to me" I was really annoyed and finally got marcia and she said "just trust us" RIGHT. So My dress finally arrived 2 weeks before my wedding and I had to find a new seamstress seeing as I was not going there 3 times in 2 weeks! Now I was happy to finally have the dress...but no, the dress doesn't even fit, way too tight, and my measurements were the same as march. This was the worst part of my wedding by far and I would never reccomend this dress shop.

I really, really loved wedding dress shopping. I think Rochester has a few nice stores, but I think I chose Jacqueline’s because I went on a day that wasn’t busy and I found a dress that fit me on sale. The sale rack doesn’t look tempting, but I recommend checking it out. I was getting really overwhelmed shopping, and I was almost ready to spend over $1500 on a dress, but luckily I found something for $400, and I was able to put the rest towards our honeymoon.

The dresses there are absolutely beautiful but the people are so snobby. I did find the dress of my dreams so I bought it anyways but once I got it, it was not good quality. I paid a lot of money for the dress and had to go elsewhere for the dress to be tailored properly and sewed correctly. When I showed them how poorly made the dress was, they really didn't care... they already had my money.

My dress was beautiful, most likely overpriced, but I couldn't find it anywhere else. The women in the store were at times a bit pushy and stuffy, and tried to tell me that no one would notice a mark I could barely see on the dress (as opposed to cleaning it again).. but seriously, if I'm paying 3000 for a dress (I know, I know), I want it spotless!
