What can I say about Kiera and Josh that hasn't already been said before? They are awesome and so much fun to work with. My daughter and her husband loved them from the moment they met and only wanted them to do the video for their wedding! They really care about their clients and know how to put the pieces together to tell the love story of the couple.
We are still waiting to see the video they did for their wedding, but we know it will be absolutely spectacular! We watched over and over the videos they did for other couples and can't wait to see what they came up with for them.

You will not hire a better wedding vendor than Jakfoto Films. This team is absolutely the best - incredibly hard-working and diligent but just a joy to be around during such an exciting and meaningful day. Kiera did a great job capturing the best moments and editing it together in a beautiful package. I loved the voice over of my brothers speech that played throughout the highlight reel. She is a true artist and we were lucky to find her at the very last minute.

Kiera's personal style and creativity is clearly reflected in her work. She was a pleasure to work with, flexible, friendly, energetic, and so easy going. We hired Kiera Faye as our videographer for our May 2011 wedding and were so pleased with the results! My husband and I were so impressed with how professional, friendly and unobtrusive she was. She was able to capture all the moments of the day, but you never noticed she was there.
As a budget bride, I originally ruled out having a videographer as I did not think we would be able to afford it. After Kiera was recommended by our wedding photographer, I thought I would contact her to get an idea of her prices. Kiera was fantastic and worked with us within budget and we agreed on a highlight video. The highlight video Kiera made is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I don’t know how she did it, but she was able to capture all the emotion of our special day into a short film. She included clips from our vows to the toasts to the dancing and even included all those sneaky little kisses my husband and I kept giving eachother on the day. It really is incredible. Your wedding day goes by so fast, so I am so glad we have this video to remind us of how happy we felt on the day.

Who is Jakfoto?
Our team is led by filmmaker Kiera Faye. Kiera received a degree in Cinema and Digital Video at Northwestern College, Iowa, and went on to attend the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. Her credits include the feature film Winning Favor, the independently-produced documentary The Sacred Stage which is featured in college theatre curriculum around the country, and numerous short films. After 8 years of working in the film industry, Kiera has chosen to devote her skills to wedding films because "real love stories are better than anything Hollywood can think up."
Second in command is Kiera's husband Josh Voelker. Josh's background in photography and theatrical lighting give him an eye for art and composition. Plus, he is a natural born problem-solver, a talented
Glidecam operator, a mechanical genius, and ocassionally pretty funny too.

Jakfoto is based in Orange County, California, but we love the fact that we get to work all over the world. We’re happy to pack our bags (and our passports) for your big day!
What type of films do you make?
We believe that wedding films should be emotional, honest, and fun to watch! We use quality HD footage, professional audio, and narrative editing to create artfully edited films that tell your story, with your personality. Our packages are based on the length of your film:
4-6 minute Highlights 8-10 minute Short Film 12-20 minute Feature

We also love creating films that tell your Love Story! Through interviews and [polite, even stealthy] filming of you and your sweetheart on a favorite date, your personal love story becomes your favorite romance film. Share it with friends and family, save it to share with each other or your kids years down the road… What better way to commemorate an engagement or anniversary?
What else is included?
In addition to your fully edited edited wedding film, your custom DVDs include a basic edit of the entire wedding ceremony and toasts, so you won’t miss a minute. You get three DVDs (additional copies are $20 each), plus your edited film will be hosted online so that you can easily share the link with family and friends.
How many cameras will be there?
We provide two talented cinematographers to capture your day. Kiera always leads the shooting and edits the feature films, so she is connected to every minute of the process! Josh usually joins her in shooting, plus we work with a number of tried and trusted filmmakers so that we can provide additional cinematographers when needed.
Do you charge per hour?
We think it’s important to capture your day from beginning to end. Every wedding film package includes two-camera coverage from the first event of your day (usually the bride and groom getting ready) until the last event of the reception, up to 12 hours. If you know beforehand that your schedule will run longer, talk to us about customizing a package.

Do you offer any discounts or specials?
Our very best rates are available through our partner photographers. Booking through a Jakfoto partner not only ensures that you get the best deal, but also means that you get a film and photo team that works great together! Awesome! Just send us an email (Be sure to tell us a little about yourselves! This is all about your story, after all!) and we’ll get started! Once you’ve settled on a package, a signed contract and 50% retainer will hold your date. Sorry, we’re not able to reserve a date without a retainer.
Can we meet with you first?
