James is fantastic! We are so pleased not only with the beautiful and creative pictures James took, but with our whole experience working with him. James came prepared to our first meeting with sample books of previous weddings he’d shot, and after our engagement pictures session with him, we were convinced we’d made an excellent choice. James has a great eye for how to use light, how to frame a picture, and what backdrops will work well. He is also quite quick, so you don’t feel at all like you’re in an endless photo session. He also was great about getting lots of pictures of our families and close friends during the reception and got some really great dancing and candid shots of our guests having a great time at our wedding! He is so professional in his demeanor and was very quiet and unobtrusive in getting great shots, especially during the ceremony. James also has a great pricing structure – he has a graduated pricing scheme and you can choose how you’d like to put pieces together. This was very exciting for us as we were able to put together an affordable package and got some phenomenal pictures of our wedding. We are very, very happy with James Walker Photography and highly recommend him!

James Walker's work speaks for itself, so do check out his website. Beyond that, he is wonderful to work with, as he is laid back, friendly, and professional. We had both our engagement and wedding photos taken by James, and they were all beautiful and so much more unique than the traditional, stuffy, posed wedding photos. He knows how to put you at ease, and he also knows how to completely blend in during the ceremony. Several guests mentioned that they didn't even see him. His rates are also very reasonable for the quality of his work. I cannot recommend James highly enough, as he is an amazing photographer and such a nice person!

James shot our wedding in July of this year and I am beyond thrilled with his work! He was completely flexible on the day of, and just has a natural passion for photography. Our reception shots are amazing action shots and his talent in playing with light shows through in all his photographs. His turn around time is unheard of (less than two weeks), and his on-line gallery is very user friendly and has tons of nice features! I couldn't be more happy with him as our photographer!

Having James capture our wedding was the best vendor decision that we made for our Sept. 2010 wedding. He was extremely professional and responsive throughout the planning process and during the day of the wedding. Our pictures are breathtaking, beautiful, and fun. James creates art- not just typical wedding day photography. And- the disk of pictures was in our hands a week after the wedding!

James did such an amazing job last weekend!! He spent the whole day with us and was there to catch every special moment. He has a creative eye and he's able to produce shots that I didn't even think were possible! He has a very quick turnaround time as well. He sent us a sample just a few days after our wedding and we LOVE what we've seen so far!!!
The best thing that can happen working with a couple is if they mention they are using James for their photography. James's work is fantastic, he documents the best moments, he completely captures the essence of the wedding day and the couple, has a great personality, and is a really awesome person to boot. James captures the day so the couple can enjoy the wedding. One of our favorite photographers.
