Jamie Lawrence

I think everyone that's ever heard Jamie agrees his voice is beautiful! I had no idea what I wanted for my wedding the whole time I was planning (makes planning a wedding really hard!), the one thing I knew I wanted was Jamie singing 'Maunaleo' as I walked down the aisle. From the moment I heard him singing the song on his website I was hooked, then I found him singing it live on youtube and I knew I had to have him singing that at my wedding. I have watched that video sooooo many times over the last 6 or 7 months and when it was finally time to walk down the aisle it was almost surreal seeing him singing that song live and in person :) We booked Jamie for an hour so he sang before, during, and after the wedding and it was fantastic, that man is truly gifted!

Jamie is sooo talented and truly special guy. He did our ceremony music and cocktail hour and then DJ came and took over. I had a special song I asked him to learn for my walk down the aisle. He was worried he couldn't do it justice, but it was amazing! Everyone commented how great he was. He also plays at local venues in Maui and we went to watch him and had the best time!

We just had our wedding in Maui and Jamie Lawrence came up to the Haiku Mill (a wonderful place if your thinking about maui) and played at our reception. Words can't not express how his voice made it so Beautiful! Purely Amazing! We had him sing "Hallelujah" while we poured our unity sand. When we finished we both just stood in front of him while he continued to sing the song. Everyone at the wedding was dead silent just listening. One of the most peaceful beautiful moments in my life. My wife and I can't find the words to thank him enough for such a beautiful moment! Jamie also played three songs during the ceremony out on the Beach for us. It was to hear with the crashing waves and all but still beautiful and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Can't imagine the wedding with out him. After the wedding we hung out on the island and every time we went to dinner or out bar and there was a performer it was hard to listen because Jamie is just that good. Worth everything!

We booked Jamie for one hour to begin playing while guests waited for the ceremony to start, throughout the ceremony, and for the beginning part of the cocktail hour. I originally ordered his CDs after reading very positive reviews online, and I immediately knew we needed to book him for our wedding. My brother-in-law said his voice was smooth like butter. I specifically asked him to play "Maunaleo" for when I walked down the aisle, and during the ceremony (I didn't know that this was going to happen) the minister paused the ceremony to say that Jamie had a special love song to play for the occasion. Jamie played "The Road That Never Ends" (look up the lyrics!!!) and it was absolutely perfect. Just the perfect song for a wedding. I could hear the guests sniffling and everyone said they loved it.

Jamie played at our wedding ceremony and for our cocktail hour. He sounded so much like Jack Johnson to me! He was a great part of our day.

Jamie was our live musician at the church. His voice sounds very much like Jack Johnson live, so we knew we wanted him right away. Great musician and played exactly what we asked him perfectly. His fee was included in the cost of using Keawalai Church.

Jamie is one of the nicest guys I have met. He made our ceremony and cocktail hour so special. He learned a special song for me and everyone enjoyed his music. We went to see him play at Tommy Bahama café and he made sure to say hello to us. I want to buy his CD as he has such a magnificent voice. We loved having him as part of our wedding.

Beautiful beyond our dreams! The musician completed the mood of the ceremony.
