JAMMIN' DJs - Colorado

We had DJ Bryan for our 3/2/2012 wedding and he was fantastic. He answered every one of my rambling emails and could even figure out what I was trying to say in them! Bryan was very professional and friendly. I even had guests calling him Bryan and not \"the DJ\". I thought that was so great. He played all the songs we wanted and was very patient when things changed at the last minute. I was frazzled, but Bryan was not. I cannot give him enough praise. I highly recommend Jammin\' DJ\'s and any DJ they have working for them.

Thank God for JAMMIN' DJs! We were referred to them by a friend who just hired them for her wedding reception and had nothing but GREAT things to say! It was two weeks before our wedding date, we had just received a phone call that our 3rd DJ was backing out and we were panicking! Fortunately, after calling JAMMIN' DJs, they had one last available opening and we jumped at the opportunity!

My husband and I had never before been married nor had we ever hired a DJ before, needless to say we were slightly clueless about the process...Bryan was the most professional and calming DJ we had spoken with up to this point! He kindly walked us through each step in planning, explained how things would run and consistently assured us after making sure we understood what we wanted! With us having booked so last minute he was beyond what I had expected with his his responsiveness to our questions, phone calls and emails! His professionalism and kindness throughout the planning process before, during and after is unparalleled!

After arriving at our reception in a perfectly timely manner, Bryan took the time to speak with us after having set up to review our song choices, review name pronounciation and the approximate order of events! We were beyond ecstatic that he was SO personable!

During our reception, Bryan was more than we could have ever hoped for! His one goal was to make sure we didn't worry or stress out! When he introduced the Wedding Party (voice like a rockstar!) our guests LOVED it! He was calm, organized and knew just what to do when my Husband and I were at a loss or simly not paying attention! He kept the guests happy and comfortable during dinner. When it was time to make toasts he was on top of making sure VIPs were gathered and ready to go (AND showed us all how to use the mic!) He was great at directing photographers as well as guests to the appropriate areas when we had the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter toss, as well as all of the important dances! His flexibility with timing was great (since things don't quite always run on time) and he was always there to help us when we needed him! When it was time to hit the dance floor, he single handedly boosted the atmosphere with getting our guests amped and ready to dance! One of the most important aspects of our reception was our "Do Not Play" list and he was professional at refusing requests from guests that we asked him not to play, and even informed us everytime a request came up just in case we wanted to change our minds!! The sound system was perfect and the lights he had brought simply CREATED the party atmosphere!

When one of our guests came up to me and congratulated us on having such an AMAZING DJ, I remember thinking "Wow, we did it!" But when another guest said the same, and yet more after that, we truly knew that Bryan was the best there is! We will never be able to thank him enough for not only how happy he made our guests, but for how happy he made US!!

Without having Bryan be our DJ our ENTIRE wedding experience would have been inferior compared to how utterly HAPPY we are with his service! We will recommend this service to EVERYONE we know because we are beyond pleased! Props to JAMMIN' DJs for being the greatest DJ service we know and hats off to Bryan for making our wedding PERFECT!!! THANK YOU!!!

JamminDJ's was excellent, easy to work with and the music/lights were great. They were on time, kept the music volume perfect and did all the announcing as I requested just perfectly. Would highly recommend them!!

Guests thought our DJ was our wedding coordinator. He was truly amazing and did more than I ever imagined. He stayed true to the playlist. Many guests requested a football fight song and he double checked with me before playing. He carried around an ipad that had all our information on it about song choices and times we requested. He kept us on track with when we needed to make toasts and cut the cake. The website was very helpful with being able to pick certain songs we wanted for all moments and a do not playlist. I could not be more pleased and happy with Jammin DJ's and their services.

We left the majority of the songs up to our dj, as time was not on our side in the last month of planning our wedding, and he did an AWESOME job! He got everyone up and dancing- of all ages, and everyone was going until the wedding ended. It was great to see our friends and family having such a great time. Thank you Bryan! Jason did a fantastic job at our wedding! We met with him a couple weeks prior to the wedding, and he called us several times to confirm what we wanted. He showed up on time, played fantastic music and had the perfect "DJ voice". He also kept me on schedule with reminding me to do toasts and the bouquet toss, etc., which I wasn't thinking about on the day of the wedding! I would absolutely recommend him!

Where do I start... we had our wedding on Sept. 1st and had Jammin DJ's provide their top notch service. Cameron and his team were very professional, dressed appropriate and very accomodating. As we all know wedding never go perfectly according to plan yet Jammin DJ's went with the flow perfectly. We used Jammin' DJs for our wedding reception and couldn't have been happier with them! They were extremely professional and kept everything flowing smoothly. The music choices were excellent and our DJ was even kind enough to stay 15 minutes longer than we contracted him for because there was a bit of a rain delay during our ceremony. Chris from Jammin Djs was the DJ for our wedding reception. Chris made the night so easy for my husband and I. Chris and I had spoke on the phone leading up to our wedding and discussed what all we wanted at our reception.I am so thankful they have the timeline we filled out before our reception planned out really helped me and not having to worry about keeping things on time and or what to do next. Jammin' Djs was recommended to us by the Brown Palace, and from the first time we contacted John, we were hooked! John listened to our very specific (and somewhat high-maintenance) expectations, and matched us with Jason. Jason was AMAZING!!!! We truly couldn't have been happier!

Jammin' Djs has a very thorough online planner, so as you think of songs you want (or don't want), you can update your list. It's on this site that you list important people, events in the reception, and songs.

We filled out this form over the course of a few weeks, and Jason went out of his way to call us several times to talk to us about what we wanted. By the time our wedding came around, he knew us so well, that it was like we had hired one of our friends! He did a perfect job of "reading" our crowd.

We got so many compliments about how fun our wedding was, and we really feel like it was Jason that made it so amazing! The songs and the lighting were incredible! We can't recommend them enough!

John and the crew were AMAZING!! He not only helped coordinate the wedding and wasn't even asked or paid to do so but his help was really needed and welcomed. During the reception he was always checking to see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and he really meant ANYTHING. He was willing to help in anyway. He was PROMPTLY responsive to requests. He kept the dance rockin' and made the night memorable and SO fun. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. The price was right and worth every single penny!!

Our wedding reception was kind of hectic, as we were behind by about an hour, so by the time we started dancing, we only had about 45 mintues left on our dj contract. John Murray not only played a great selection of music, while paying close attention to our song requests, bu he played an extra 45 mintues, or so, over our contract time (without charging us).
From the time we arrived at the venue and were first announced as a married couple, to playing our favorite song while we cut the cake, to staying a little later to help make our wedding day extra special, Jammin DJ's went above and beyond...would definitely hire John again!

For our wedding we wanted the reception to feel less like a wedding, and more like a huge crazy party. Our original DJ canceled on us, and we hired Jammin DJs one month before the wedding. John did exactly what we wanted, and everyone said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. He was extremely professional, fun, and listened to what we wanted for our day. We are so lucky our original DJ canceled, because John was even better, and worth every penny!

I think Steve did a grat job at adding songs we wanted to be played and arranging he songs correctly.

Chris Mahoney did an outstanding job DJ'ing for us on our wedding day! Not only did he meet with us the week before to go over scheduling/playlists, he was set up way before schedule and was always there during our reception to make sure everything was ok and on schedule. His experience with weddings really took the stress off of us. He knew which songs to play, when to play them and everybody danced the whole night! I would highly recommend JamminDJS for your wedding or any other event. It truly helped make our night awesome!!!

Awesome! made our wedding so much more memorable. The services provided we far above our best expectations. Went to a wedding one week after ours and was extremely disappointed with the DJ who was NOT Jammin DJ's John Murray.

John was absolutely wonderful! As the wedding approached and things got more and more hectic my fiance and I did not have a lot of time to talk with John and give him much direction. But on the day of the wedding he handled everything perfectly. He had great advice and knew more about what to do than we ever would have known. Our reception site was two levels, with the main dining area upstairs and the dance floor downstairs, so I had pictured the DJ not being very involved until we got down to the dance floor, but thank God he was. He managed the flow of the event so well and it would have been chaos without him and his team. He was so much more for us than the guy who played our music.

John was great when we were setting up the service (he called me within 10 minutes of requesting a quote online!) and the online music selection was so easy and helpful. David was our DJ and he did a wonderful job. He communicated we us over the phone and offered to meet with us (but we were so busy that we didn't have time). His music provided a great soundtrack to the evening's festivities, from the quiet dinner music, to the first dances and then the dancing that went on throughout the evening and kept the dance floor full. Using The JAMMIN Company was one the best decision my husband and I made in planning our wedding. Their employees were extremely professional, always followed through immediately and our DJ for our reception called the week of the wedding personally to check in with me. our DJ made the reception a real celebration. And EVERYONE was up and dancing to the country/old rock and roll played by Steve! HIRE THEM! I didn't hear fromt he DJ company until like the week of, but that is okay!

Jammin' Djs was awesome and made our reception great! They played all our songs as requested, and had a great mix of dance music that got all generations dancing. At the end noone wanted to get off the dance floor! I think they are a great choice for any wedding, they are so knowledgable about their profession and that shows dramatically. I was the most worried about a DJ for our wedding because they truly can make or break the day, and Jammin DJs really made the day for us!

The big difference in selecting Jammin' DJs for my wedding was their customized approach to music. Not only were they thoughtful in when and how what was played, but they were excellent in giving ideas and in helping me make my music selection unique and not just the same music that you hear at every wedding. They were also really good at engaging the crowd and reading the people. As a result, there was a not a quiet moment on the dancefloor. They were easy to work with and great value for the money!

David Smith was the DJ for my wedding and he did an amazing job. He was very nice and professional. I got many comments from friends and family afterward that mine was one of the few weddings that had good music all night long. He also was accommodating on song requests. I thought Jammin DJs website was organized and efficient. You can pick all your song choices easily online, submit your wedding schedule and email questions or comments to your DJ. I really liked this because I do not like to be on the phone a lot. While the overall quality was fantastic, I did think the price was quite high... but everything involving weddings is expensive and there isn't much you can do about that. I would hire David again if I could do it over again.

Our DJ, Chris, did a great job at the wedding. After signing the contract we did not hear much from the company but once we got assigned a DJ we were able to meet with him and plan the ceremony. We were slightly disorganized, but Chris was patient and made great suggestions. I guess the most important review is that our guests did not stop dancing the whole night. It was a very fun time.

We had an overall good experience with Jammin DJ's--our needs and wants were addressed and executed. While I thought the online planning tool would be a great way to communicate the timeline and request specific songs, it did make communicating with our DJ feel less personal. I understand the volume of people they work with and the need to have these things documented; however, at times it felt like I wasn't able to communicate with our DJ as easily as I would have liked. However, it all worked out in the end, and the DJ did a nice job of choosing songs to fit the crowd.

I thought this DJ would work well, John was pretty responsive before the wedding, and he had been recommended by a friend who used him and thought he was great. But, on the wedding day, the DJ did fine at the ceremony, but I was then told that a separate DJ was coming to the reception. At the end of the scheduled cocktail hour, the wedding planner had to tell me that the DJ was not here yet for the reception, so we had to extend the cocktail hour. The DJ ended up getting there at least 30 minutes late and took another 15 minutes to set up his equipment. Then during the reception, we had burned some specific music and gave the DJ instructions. The DJ did not follow our instructions and played music we did not like nor ask for. We had to send the wedding planner over multiple times to ask him to follow our instructions. After that, everything went smoothly, but they caused me stress in the middle of the wedding and they were the only vendor that caused any problems. Afterwards, they tried to blame any problems on the hotel and wedding planner and refused to admit that they had done anything wrong. Be careful if you use this DJ!!

First off, I have written amazing reviews for every other one of my vendors, the dj though was a way different story. I had originally talked to Craig, GM at the time who assured me he would personally dj my event, as the dj was very important to me. A little more than a week before my wedding he e-mails me saying he won't be dj'ing for me anymore and he is passing it off to Jason, followed by a #. I get in contact with Jason who is having a tough time scheduling a meeting as dj'ing is his side job..... awesome. He was nothing amazing or great. He was a part time dj. He didn't know how to work the sound equipment, I was hooking up a guitar player for our first dance. Jason knowing this in advance should have been able to hook him up correctly. No one could hear him on the second floor of the room. they also used a mic stand of ours that was never returned. I fill out their review that they sent,to the owner, to get no response. So I send it again. This time to everyone, and get an phone call from the owner. I have never had someone talk so unprofessionally to me, ever! He said it is against policy to borrow equipment and his guys would never. He also said Jason is rated one of the best dj's. The phone call was a nightmare, he eventually calls me back just to clarify they did borrow equipment, but the venue has it..... no apology, no professionalism. I have been doing 100's of weddings for 5 years and have to say this dj was in the bottom 20. And the owner, John Murray, rudest person I have dealt with in a while.
