Jason Michaels is amazing. Out of all the DJ's we interviewed, he was the most professional, personal, personable, and knowledgable. He really knows a lot about music, and assisted us with picking our perfect "first dance" song. His music selection and MC skills kept the dance floor PACKED and everyone entertained. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with Jason. He exceeded all of our expectations. A real gentleman and professional who made our wedding reception the best.

Jason was our second DJ interview. The first gave us the whole spiel, discussed pricing, then casually informed us that our wedding would be handled by his buddy (who wasn't even present). The bad start to a long day ended with our meeting with Jason, who was just as pleasant, accommodating, and professional as could be. It was as if we'd stepped out of a Chuck E. Cheese and into the calm, classic luxury of a Lawry's. He calmed us, empathized with us, and assured us that he would be the one there on our day. He spent HOURS getting to know us, our history, our expectations, and listened very intently to us while taking notes as we rambled on about the different types of music we wanted played during our wedding reception. Hiring Jason was the easiest of the many choices made for our wedding day. He was an excellent communicator and welcomed phone calls or e-mails whenever a new song popped into my frazzled brain. During our reception, he kept our guests entertained without being the least bit "cheesy"- yes people, it can be done! His nice suit, smooth voice, perfect timing, and professional demeanor helped make the evening classy. We've been married close to a year-and-a-half, and still get compliments on the music, and how Jason handled the evening- no joke! Jason represented us and our evening just as we wanted. It should be noted that if you are looking for a cheeseball, squeaky-voiced crazy man on the mic, Jason may not be your man. For all you others, you will be in extremely competent hands.

Jason Michaels is an incredibly professional Wedding DJ/Emcee, who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a great night of entertainment for a great price. Jason made it so that all we had to do was show up and enjoy our night. He had complete control of the crowd and moved the wedding reception along amazingly. A great choice!

Jason was a great DJ! The dance floor was always full and everyone was having fun. I also would like to point out that I didn't have the easiest crowd to entertain...my guests included my family which loves to dance but also as any latin family wanted some spanish music, my husband's family whom also love to dance and a lot of friends from church that are not so much into dancing. Because we had so many generations it was great that Jason was playing all types of music that always seemed to please the crowd. At times everyone was dancing to swing and the next to salsa and then hip hop. I have to say that I spent most of the time in the dance floor myself, which was great! I can honestly say I had a blast at my wedding! :)PS I want to point out that Jason met with me and really walked us through so much more than music. Not only did he help me with the mixture of spanish/english songs (and even purchsed some music I wanted but did not have) but he did a great job of mixing it in a very smooth and seemless way. He also made a guide of the events so that on the day of my wedding he didn't have to ask me "do you want to announce the bouquet toss now?" We already had settled everything before hand and had a timeline that he also shared with my other vendors. He made it so much easier for me since I didn't have a wedding planner!

Jason MADE my wedding. He played all of the right music and really had a feel for the crowd. He kept them dancing all night! Another thing that is wonderful about Jason is that he is also an amazing emcee. He made sure my wedding ran on schedule and was very funny throughout the wedding! We love him so much that we hired him for my brother's wedding too!!!!

We really liked Jason. He was recommended by a colleague who said Jason was low-key and would do whatever you wanted. My husband and I interviewed a couple of DJs but found Jason to be the most professional and responsive. It helped that Jason had done many, many weddings before and is not stuck on doing things only one way. He listened to our wishes (i.e., no cheesiness, no ABBA, some music in Spanish but not too much, some 70's but no over-the-top disco, some 80's, etc.), the contract negotiations were easy, and he was the perfect host for our wedding. The reception went very well thanks to his help and people danced all night. We would highly recommend him.

Jason played everything we wanted and more importantly nothing we didn't (despite the pleas of drunk guests to play YMCA). He coordinated everything perfectly: the first dance, the toasts, the cocktail reception music and by the end of the night had everyone on the dance floor dancing to songs that we actually liked.

Jason did a fantastic job and made sure everyone was on the dance floor. He helped emcee and that was wonderful as well. He's easy to talk to and heads above other DJs we'd met. One note is that he did charge us much less than usual since we were referred by an old friend, so we found him to be especially good for the rate we paid. His speakers didn't work quite as well for another friend's wedding (who'd used him on our referral) so I'd recommend sound checks to be safe.

Jason was absolutely wonderful! From the day I spoke to him on the phone, I was 100% confident with him. He was easy to work with, patient, positive and flexible. At the wedding reception, he was outstanding! Everything went perfectly and the music kept people on the dance floor for hours. We received many compliments about hisprofessionalism and performance. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We had a blast!

I can honestly say that we wouldn't have been able to pull it off so elegantly without you. Your professionalism was a calming agent amidst all the chaos. You were perfect and we thank you so much for creating a night to remember.
