Jayson is very personable and a great vendor to work with. He ensured that I got all the photos I wanted for my wedding. His prices are incredibly affordable, especially for a non-traditional destination wedding. Check Jayson Tenaga's website!!

Jayson was awesome. He created a package at a good price that worked for us. We had Jayson do a session for our vow renewal in Honolulu and his pictures turned out wonderful! He was in constant contact with us the whole time and called the day of as well, which made me less nervous. He had our pictures delivered to our hotel before we left to go home, which I thought was great. I would definitely have Jayson do other photography sessions for us while visiting Hawaii in the future, and highly recommend him.

I would definitely recommend Jayson Tanega's photography services to any bride and groom. His prompt and professional correspondence was quite impressive. He was always flexible in meeting with us and we could always count on him being on time! Lastly, but most importantly, our wedding pictures turned out so beautifully! We recently received our formal wedding album and have gotten so many compliments on how unique and beautiful the photos are. Photography is the one thing that will last long after the wedding, so we were glad that we chose Jayson. Thanks to him we'll be keeping beautiful memories of our wedding with us for years to come.

While we can only speak about his coverage of our wedding ceremony, Jayson offers prompt, friendly service at a very competitive price. Since we had a very small wedding, we came up w/a list of shots that we wanted Jayson to take. He kindly worked with us and exceeded all of our expectations.

Jayson Tanega is an excellent photographer! He is extremely nice, which makes it easy to work with him and he really knows how to capture that special day in his camera. Each frame of photos he took on my wedding had its own personality and definiton on what I was experiencing throughout my day. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you are having fun! His deals are amazing and you really get superb quality. Not to mention, if there is a specific picture you want to take he'll do it no questions asked! I had a lot of fun and even more taking the pictures on my special day... and it's all thanks to Jayson!

Jayson was very professional and easy to work with. He worked with us to understand what kind of pictures we were looking for and even gave the rights to our photos. We're really happy with the photos and would recommend him to anyone who doesn't want to spend $6000 on photos.

there are photographers out there and then there are those who are so passionate and enjoy what they do. Jayson is that kind of person. I know that its easy for anyone to pick up a camera and look through a lense and tell people to pose. they dont know what a shutter speed is or MC means cause they just point and shoot. Jayson is clearly a photo nerd but LOVES doing it so much its incredible. I thought he was doing it since he was a friend but I notice that he always does it with all of his customers and there is a small chance that people will call him a vendor since he is a friend as you get to know him. His prices are almost too reasonable and level of creativity alone is worth any price.

Jayson was so wonderful with making us feel comfortable and having fun with the entire photo thing. He was really professional and knew how to work with our requests and budget while creating a beautiful collection of memories for us. Timely updates, available for phone and in-person consultations....even for the occasional "freaking out" moment.

Jayson was a so friendly and nice from the moment I met him. He takes wonderful pictures and is very personable. He is also very detailed oriented in his pictures and captured a lot of the things I was hoping he would without even telling him. He was also very efficient! I got the pictures within a week after the wedding.
Jayson is truly a professional and wonderful to work with! We look forward to working with him again and again!

FAQ for Jayson Tanega Wedding Photography
Normally, formals take about one to two hours, depending on the size of your wedding party, and how extensive you would like your formal coverage to be. A big advantage of doing formals before the ceremony: everything is fresh-hair, make-up and flowers. Some people feel it is bad luck for the couple to see each other before the wedding. But we can still do each side of the bridal parties separately before the ceremony, and after the ceremony we can do the formals with the couple together.
Q: Should I schedule another photographer as a back-up, in case you are sick on my wedding day?
That is a good question. But if you do this, you are asking the back-up to turn down any work he had for that day to do yours. I am part of a large network of professional photographers. And I know many good photographers to call in case of such a situation. Let me handle this.
Q: So, how much does wedding photography cost?
Your wedding photography can cost anywhere from around $1000 up to $10,000, or even more, depending on what you want. On average, be prepared to spend at least $1,500 for a small wedding on a weekday or Sunday, and $2,500 and up for Saturdays. Put another way, photography typically runs from nine to fifteen percent of the total wedding budget, and even up to 30% for couples who place high value on photography. If you are new to this, it is entirely possible that you may find your photography costs at least double your original budget. Or you may already know about what to expect. Whatever you do, remember that your wedding photos should be a meaningful record of your special day, to cherish and revisit later. Try to keep this in mind too, as you review photographers and settle on your budget.
Q: If I cancel, will I get my deposit back?
As long as you alert me 3 months ahead. If cancellation is made on or before 90 days of your wedding date, a total refund of your deposit will be allowed. Otherwise, canceling within 90 days forfeits your entire deposit.
Q: Why should I hire a professional photographer?
There are many good reasons. Reliability: a professional will show up promptly at your wedding. Quality: he/she will have state-of-the-art equipment, and more important, will know how to use it. Experience: he/she will have been to many weddings such as yours, will know how to move around well and quickly set up many different shots. Responsive: he/she will be showing you your wedding proofs right away. Network: your professional will only use the best photo labs in order to get the best prints from the files he/she prepares. If you think about it, you are getting your moneys worth.
Q: Can you do black and white photography?
Everything is shot originally in digital color. From here we have the great flexibility of digital imaging to present you with many choices. We can adjust your photo selections to print in rich color, black & white, sepia tone, blue tint black & white and more. Your options are many, and can be adjusted after the event. How you present your wedding record is completely up to you.
Q: Is digital photography as good as film photography?
State-of-the-art digital photography offers far greater flexibility in operation (while shooting and afterwards for color and online proofing) as compared to shooting film, and outstanding image quality, variability and control. In my opinion, at this point digital imaging has matched and in some ways surpassed film photography.
Q: What is online proofing?
Online proofing is a convenient way to quickly see your wedding photos. After your wedding, your photos will be posted (with a private password for your protection) for you to review and share with your family and friends as often as you like, and at your convenience.
Q: What is a Digital Album?
A digital album is much more than just prints in an album. In a digital album, your wedding photos are grouped and digitally montage (combined or blended) on the album pages, with images running to the edges of the pages for a much stronger effect, something like a magazine feature spread.
Q: Could I meet with you and see samples of your work?
I would be happy to meet with you. Please contact me to set up an appointment.
