JC Image Design - Artistry That Rocks

Words cannot describe JC's talent. His creativeness and passion shine through his pictures. While browsing JC's website, I knew he was "the one" to go with for our engagement shoot. My fiancé and I live in Dallas and I have always wanted to have our e-shoot in San Francisco since that's where we met 10 years ago! I wanted to use a local photographer since they would know which spots to take us to for some great shots. I had a lot of suggestions from others but each time I would look at their work I would turn around and compare it to JC's pictures. It was then that my fiancé and I realized we HAD to go with JC! No one else's work even compared to his!

So, we reached out to JC - and every email was detailed and well thought out each question I asked, he answered it thoroughly and best of all he always replied back in a timely manner. When we talked on the phone, he was just as friendly and pleasant to deal with! Then when we met him the day of our shoot, we all got along as if we had been friends our entire lives! We had the opportunity to spend the entire day in the city with him where he captured our every move. He took us to all of the places we wanted to go to and he even took us to destinations that we didn’t have in mind. He was completely open to our suggestions and directed us on how to pose, which was exactly what we needed! He did whatever he could to make each picture perfect, whether he had to lay on the ground or work his way through traffic!

When we got our pictures we were so happy with our decision to go with him. When we showed our family and friends the pictures it made them clap and smile, and it even made some cry. Sometimes people don't realize the impact pictures have and JC’s pictures truly make a statement. We were speechless when we saw our pictures. JC is an amazing person and an even more amazing photographer. If you're contemplating which photographer to pick, do yourself a favor and look no further, you’re looking at the only one you should choose! You will not regret it! Just imagine how great he must be if we came all the way from Dallas to have our pictures taken by him! I highly recommend JC Macalino for any and all of your photography needs. My husband and I were blessed enough to have a big budget, and had 20K allotted for photography. We could have chosen anyone. JC's energy, charisma, and ultra modern style was what we wanted. We ended up spending less than half our allotted budget, and couldn't be happier with the photos. This guy is destined to become one of those "Rock Star" wedding photographers. My new wife and I have always believed in the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Do you ever see a random image and wonder at its beauty? Sometimes it’s the opposite, where the image literally renders you speechless. For our wedding, we HAD to get a photographer skilled enough to produce such images. JC was the one.

When we sat down with him at the consultation, his passion for beauty and love was evident. He exudes an unbelievable energy -- something we felt at the meeting, and something we felt guiding us on our wedding day. Simply amazing. From that moment we knew we were starting a wonderful journey with someone who would show us the most beautiful version of ourselves. It's a true gift to be able to do this.

The adventure started at our engagement session, and boy was it crazy fun! This guy doesn't just take you out for a quick photo at some local park – his shoots are full-on multi-hour sessions complete with movie-like scenes that he produces out of thin air. He calls it his "Steven Spielberg" moments. LOL. Love it.

Our wedding day was pure magic. And we can easily say so much of that came from JC’s warmth, leadership, and genuine concern that we have the best time of our lives. He found a way to expertly guide chaos into orderly beauty, and of course let chaos do its thing when it was time to party. Ha! We are very grateful that JC was there. He did all this with grace and style, and seemed to inspire a lot of our friends and family. I had several friends elbow me and say, “Hey, your guy is freakin’ good.”

We were so fortunate and happy to have found JC as our photographer! We interviewed several pros, and from the moment we met him, and throughout our time together, we knew we made the right choice. Finding a good photographer is hard; finding an awesome photographer that makes you feel really comfortable is even harder. Daniel and I are not photogenic people, but JC made us feel very confident, and beautiful! :) He was so easy to get a long with -- great personality, ultra professional, yet so fun to work. And most importantly…. JC made our wedding day a dream come true.

JC, your stylish images, creativity, artistic vision is unique and totally one-of-a-kind. Every photo you created was perfect. I know couples who paid a lot more for their photographer, but didn’t get the same attention to detail and high quality experience like we did. JC's tag line is "Photos That Rock" I think it should be "Photos That Kick Ass"!! His tag line is what made me look, but his photos just kept us coming back to stare. We finally made an appointment with him and his personality sealed the deal. He is well worth his price and he'll never nickel and dime you like other photographers. JC is a dream to work with and he can make any place or space look spectacular!!!

One word to say about this dude...AMAZING!

You know when you meet someone and just hit it off really well with them? Well, that's the feeling that we had when we met with JC! He made you feel comfortable and we talked about everything, not just business! He made it a point to get to know us and find out about our 'love story.' Another thing, great ambiance sitting in his office with starbucks coffee and just chit chatting.

We got home and discussed it and we said, SOLD, we want him as our photographer!

We had a 'JustUs' engagement session with JC and it was so much fun! We were out shooting for plenty of hours around the city and enjoyed every bit of it! The photos are beautiful, very artsy and the colors really pop!

Then onto the wedding, he captured so many moments of things we missed during our wedding. I wish we could relive that day all over again with JC's magic!

JC is not only our photographer, but we consider him to be a really good friend! We look forward to him capturing our future moments together too, when we start having a family and so forth. I hope that one day JC will be able to work with my hubby and teach him some photography tricks now that he just purchased a nice expensive camera. *hint, hint*

There are three words that describe JC. A-MAZ-ING. Our wedding day was unforgettable. Our wedding night was memorable. Our wedding pictures…oh my gosh, our pictures are indescribable, triggering every emotion possible in a matter of seconds! You brought me to tears, and let’s just say, there was a good amount of snot coming out too! You have a special gift; a wondrous way of capturing the perfect moments of the day.
A photographer is one of the most important elements of a wedding, and we are so happy that we chose JC to capture our day. Believe me, I sat there and looked through at least a hundred other photographers, but no one caught my attention like JC did.

I simply CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT JC!

I am a television producer by trade and moved from LA to San Francisco to be with my husband. As you can imagine, coming from the entertainment industry, I have been spoiled by the best of the best and was trepidacious to hire a photographer for my own wedding who was up to my standards.

What I didn't realize about hiring a photographer for my own important event is not only how important their skill is behind the camera, but how they interact with you and all of those involved in the event.

JC came up to Napa for our multi-day wedding celebration. He was being pulled in a hundred different directions and never flinched -- always cool, calm and brilliant. So many guests told me how lovely a demeanor he and his team had. Most important to me, he has no ego and LOVES LOVE!

We cannot say enough great things about JC as a photographer. We planned our wedding in 5 months and it was nice to be able to find a photographer that we liked so soon. JC was the first photographer that we met with and we were so impressed that we did not feel like we had to meet with anyone else! When BlingItOn needed a photographer for its very first national fashion campaign, I did not take the decision lightly.
