Jean was totally professional and work very well with my photographer and cinematographer. She has such a kind soul and helped me relax and enjoy my wedding day. Her work spoke for itself when she did my make up for my engagement photos, and then she completely blown me away with my wedding. I have seen just a few of my wedding photos and a highlight from our video, and my make up looked incredible. My skin looked flawless and I felt like a rock star! My mother-in-law and my two bride's maids also had Jean do their make up the day of the wedding and they also felt a comfort and ease with Jean. The looked and felt beautiful as well. I would highly recommend Jean for any special occasion and especially receommed her for one of the biggest days of your life when you want to look especially beautiful. Jean is simply fabulous!!!

Jean Folchi is amazing! My makeup was flawless and lasted the entire day. My lashes were gorgeous and I received so many compliments. So did my mom! Everyone loved our look and the airbrushed makeup did not wear off. I didn't have to touch up my makeup at all the entire day and we got married in August.

In addition to Jean's makeup artistry, she is an amazingly funny and calming person. There were times when I was stressed on my wedding day -- like when my updo that I had done at the salon began to fall and I had to take it down and start all over at home. Not only did Jean work on fixing my hair, she also made me laugh to calm me down. Jean really cares about her work and about her clients. She was like a sister to me that day! Jean is amazing! She is so friendly and professional. She immediately puts you at ease in her chair while she makes you absolutely beautiful. She in an expert at playing up your features. When I looked in the mirror it was me but the best me I could be! My photos turned out amazing because of it. I highly recommend Jean to anyone and have already passed her name onto several friends. We used Jean for my daughter's recent wedding when she did the makeup for the bride, all of the bridesmaids, the mother of the groom and me. She is wonderful to work with and did an outstanding job on everyone. Her airbrush technique provides a flawless finish that stays put throughout the entire evening, and looks amazing in photographs! Jean and her assistant traveled to our house on the morning of the wedding and provided each member of the wedding party with an individualized look. Both were highly professional but, at the same time, a lot of fun and very easygoing! Everyone had a great time during the makeup process and all of us looked terrific! Jean is the best!

Jean and her assistant were both wonderful. I couldn't have asked for better makeup artists on my wedding day. They had a lot of ladies to get through and even had to touch-up my sister after we found out she was allergic to a particular plant in the house!But they got everyone ready in record time and off to get pictures done on time before the ceremony. 5 stars for sure! I will be recommending her services to everyone I know :)

I could not have been happier with Jean's service for all of my wedding needs. She provided makeup for my engagement photos and on the wedding day for myself and entire bridal party (which was met with rave reviews by all). Aside from being an amazing talent, she is a wonderful listener and extremely fun to be around. I could not have imagined a better personality to work with. I really felt that she cared about my wants & needs while also giving me good direction whenever I had questions. Jean was so great to work with. We had nine bridesmaids and the bride all getting make-up done by Jean. She was able to get ALL the make-up done so everyone was beautiful and ready for the wedding. She had an assistant with her to help with everyone. Very professional!!

I truly can't recommend Jean enough if you're looking for someone to make you look and feel beautiful on your big day. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I was very worried about my wedding day look, but Jean nailed it. I looked elegant but still looked like me. I got married on 01/01/2011, but since my wedding was on New Year’s Day (Holiday), I had difficulties finding someone who was willing to work with me on price and location for my make-up. All of the salons that I had called were going to be closed on that day and the prices that they quoted for on-site application were ridiculous!!! I had a list of things that I really wanted for my big day, but time was flying by and it seemed as if I would be lucky to find anyone who could help me. I wanted Airbrush application, false eyelashes, someone who would travel on-site, a full trial-run to get the exact look for my wedding day, reasonable prices, and someone who was professional yet very personable to make the day enjoyable. I started asking around at work for referrals and a co-worker referred me to the person who had done her wedding make-up a year ago, Jean Folchi. She said that Jean was great so I decided to give her a call. I was very concerned about coverage because I have extremely severe sun damage from not wearing sun screen in my teens and early 20's. My skin is uneven and I have discolored brown spots. I specifically wanted someone who could provide the flawless coverage that I wanted and I preferred that it was airbrush application. When I called Jean I knew immediately before even meeting her that she was going to be PERFECT. After we confirmed her availability for my wedding date/time, she wanted to know every detail about what I wanted for my wedding. She wanted to know how I envisioned my big day and what look I was going for. She asked me to bring pictures of things that I liked and things that I wanted to try as well as photos of my dress, my hair, my jewelry, and any other accessories so that we could put the final look together. Jean was AMAZING and her prices were unbelievably reasonable!!! She agreed to do my make-up and my bridal party’s make-up and she would also travel to the location for my wedding to do our make-up on site. We set up a trial run and I was finally able to relax and stop stressing about my make-up. I had a full trial-run where Jean did an entire application based on what I told her I wanted. We played with different looks and different colors until I was 110% set on how I wanted my make-up for the Big Day! On the day of my wedding, Jean arrived early (which I LOVED) and she was ready to go. She was so much fun and unbelievably comforting as my plunge down the aisle drew nearer and the nerves grew. There was a lot of commotion while I was getting ready because everyone in the bridal party and my family and friends and the camera crew were all going in and out of the room. Jean could tell that I was really starting to get nervous and on the verge of a meltdown when there were over 20 people in my hotel room at one point. Jean reminded me to keep breathing and asked me if it would be okay to close and lock the door until I was finished with hair and makeup. No one else even seemed to care about the chaos that was going on, but Jean could tell just by reading my face and she was the ONLY person who took control of the situation and helped me relax. If she hadn’t been there, I honestly can say that I would have been a wreck. Not only was my wedding make-up FABULOUS, but Jean was there for me as a FRIEND throughout the entire process and I cannot thank her enough for that. I will only get married once and I wanted my wedding day to be perfect. Before my wedding, I would always wonder how everything would turn out. I would try to picture the look on my husband’s face when he would see me for the first time coming down the aisle, but never in a million years could I have imagined how blown away he would be. The look on his face is something that I will NEVER EVER forget and I have Jean Folchi to thank for that. When our wedding and reception ended, all of the sudden I found myself getting really upset and emotional. When my husband asked why, I realized that it was because after months and months of planning and anticipation, it was finally over. I didn’t want to wash off my make-up or take down my hair and take off my dress because that was confirmation that it was really over. I knew at that moment that for the rest of my life, I would never feel as beautiful as I did on my Wedding Day!!! Thank you Jean for making my wedding the most memorable day of my life thus far and anyone who is trying to decide on your wedding make-up, stop stressing and worrying about it and CALL JEAN FOLCHI.

My daughter lives out of town and so her trips to plan the wedding were filled with places to go and people to meet with. Jean was excellent at working with us in scheduling the trial make-up session and helping us get what we needed. The wedding make-up was awesome. The bride looked absolutely fabulous and everyone commented on how beautiful she was ( and very natural looking). The brides maids and mother of the bride all had make-up done by Jean and looked beautiful as well. Jean came to the hotel to do the make-up and scheduled her time so no one felt rushed. I would recommend Jean in a heartbeat!

Jean was the only makeup artist I tried (and picked her because I liked the sample pictures on her website) and loved how everyone’s makeup turned out! I was very confident from the trial b/c I just loved how everything looked but then she did a trial for my mom and I was even more convinced. Also, she gave me the details on all of the colors she used during the trial so I could have makeup for touchups if needed (which they weren’t although might have been helpful for a summer bride). Would definitely recommend her!

My mom, sister (maid of honor), and I all got our make-up done by Jean for my wedding. Jean did a wonderful job and our make-up looked amazing! Gotta love the air-brush. It felt so light, looked amazing in pictures, and stayed on all day. She even corrected a slight tan line! Jean was also very flexible and really accomodating. My wedding was early, at 11am, so Jean actually woke up at 4am to get to my hotel on time. Like most brides, I was super nervous that morning. Jean was so comforting, always talking to me to keep my mind occupied and even offered a few remedies. She had great advice too! Jean was absolutely amazing and I 100% recommend her to all brides in the area. Thanks for everything Jean!

Jean did an amazing job on my makeup, 3 bridesmaids and 1 mother of the bride. She usues airbrush which not a lot in the area can do and it feels flawless. It stays forever and looks and feels great. I would recommend her to everyone. She has a great personality and is very fun to work with. She will also gauge your skin type at your trial and recommend products that will help your skin.

Jean is a true professional -- she stays on schedule, is very patient and has the biggest heart. She helped calm my pre wedding jitters and made all of us girls feel like princesses. Jean did my makeup and all my bridesmaids make up for my wedding this October. She was so much fun to work with, so easy to contact, and we looked AMAZING on the big day! At my trial, she was so interested in all the details of the wedding, what kind of makeup I like, how I wanted certain things. Even after the trial she followed up to see how the makeup wore that day, if I wanted to change anything, etc etc. ALSO, she recommended some moisturizing products to start using so my skin would look flawless on the day of, and I still use those products today! I will be recommending her to anyone I know that is getting married, because she is AWESOME!!!

Makeup is always a concern for a bride, you want everyone to be pretty but natural. Jean is the best you could ever ask for. She is professional and fun. Jean makes your day better because she is so much fun while appling the prettiest makeup you could ask for. She takes her time while staying on time. She makes sure she knows how many people she is doing and keeps right on schedule. I had 9 girls in my wedding. She was willing to get up and be at my house at 6:30 am to start girls, while living about an hour away!! And yes the makeup was great until the end of the night. Also, her husband owns Folchi's Formal Wear for the tuxes, go there too, we did and they were fantastic, a great family to work with!! They feel like friends when we just met them.

Beautiful wedding party Jean arrived at our home at 6am with a smile and ready to get started! We had 9 bridesmaids plus the bride to have their makeup done by noon. It was very relaxing and less stress to be able to be at home and have Jean come to us. Jean worked with each of the girls and even threw a few tips at the MOB (me) along the way. She was fun and stayed on a strict schedual to ensure everyone was ready and on time. The girls were all very happy with the makeup and still looked gorgeous at midnight. Jean did an amazing job with my entire bridal parties make up! She had a lot of people to work with, but took her time on everyone, was so fun to work with, and got everyone out the door on time. Jean is absolutely amazing! She did a wonderful job of getting me the look that I envisioned for my wedding and then making it ten times better! Jean did an amazing job for my sister's wedding and was great to work with. My sister (the bride) and I had never had airbrushed foundation or false lashes, and generally don't wear a lot of makeup- so, it was very important to us to have a natural look that we felt comfortable yet glamorous in. Jean was right on target with the palettes she chose, and the products themselves felt great on. Our makeup looked beautiful the whole day and barely needed touch-ups aside from lipstick! I would recommend Jean to any bride! I had met Jean while the two of were servicing the same bridal party. I was very impressed with her service as well as her great personality. I then knew that I had to have her do my wedding day makeup. At the time she had informed me that she had already had a wedding party booked, but she was more than willing to make it happen. Jean had done my trial the night of my rehearsal dinner and it looked great. That was one less thing that I had to worry about the day of the wedding.The day of the wedding Jean was AMAZING! I knew right then and there that if I ever got married I wanted to hire her (I had no idea it would be a year later). In fact, right after I got engaged my mom said to me "Did you book Jean yet?" this was before we even had our firm wedding date set or a reception venue! Jean is talented in her craft, knowledgeable about products and establishing a pre-wedding skin care regime. My favorite quality about her is that she gets excited for the bride and we felt like she was part of our family, not a hired vendor. Jean is so nice to work with and did such a wonderful job! I met with her a few months before my wedding and we did a trial run which was really nice and talked about how to keep my skin in tip top shape for the months leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day she drove all the way to my house that was about an hour away and spent her Sunday morning making myself, bridesmaids, and moms look beautiful. The makeup was good coverage without looking fake and pictures were incredible. The wedding was outdoors in August and the spray makeup did not run at all -- I would definitely recommend Jean to anyone who wants to look their best on their wedding day.

We used Jean for my daughter's wedding 9/26/09 which involoved 6 bridesmaids, the bride and myself the mother.....Jean transformed us all and we felt fabulous. I then called Jean to do my wedding which involved me (the 57 year old former mother of the bride and 3 bridesmaids...my daughter, my stepdaughter, and my son's fiance....once again we we thrilled with Jean. When I called her to book her she already had a wedding party booked, but she came anyway very early in the morning and then came back in the evening and touched us up before the ceremony at the church. She is so personable....we always feel so comfortable with her and trust her decisions. I will use her again if the situaioin ever arises. DEFINITELY!

A few weeks after my consultation I talked with her and changed me eye make-up and she was very flexible in working with me. I contacted Jean one week before my wedding, after being disappointed with another vendor. Not only was her responsiveness impressive, jean is the most down to earth, jovial and attentive vendor I have EVER dealt with. Her knowledge about her art is far beyond what I could've expected from a make-up artist, and not only was the make-up flawless and lasting for the wedding, she made recommendations for several skin care products that have literally changed the the appearance of my skin. I have never had so many compliments on my make-up and skin.....If you are concerned that make-up will destroy your skin or clog your pores, rest assured! You are dealing with a TRUE PROFESSIONAL. I never had a single breakout after, and that was one og my biggest fears. Jean is WONDERFUL! After 5 make-up trials (with supposed) Make-up artists in the area, I was growing increasingly weary and wondered if I would ever find ANYONE who would listen to me and give me the look I wanted. I wanted to look like ME...just way better! And that it EXACTLY what I got! I looked awesome in my pictures and the thanks goes to Jean! You still feel like YOU...only WAY better! All afternoon and night, I got compliments on my appearance and I know I couldnt have pulled it off - if it werent for Jean! Having our make-up done by Jean was absolutely one of the highlights of our day prior to the wedding! Jean did an outstanding job! Not only do I know Jean on a professional level, she has been a good friend through the years. It was an honor to have her do my bridal make-up for my wedding! I have always had problem skin (acne, acne scars, dry patches, etc.) and MONTHS before the wedding, she chatted with me at length about different products I could use on my skin to create the best possible canvass. I wish I could attach a photo of the work she did - my skin looked FANTASTIC and she did a great job listening to exactly what I wanted and picking colors that she knew would work. I got SO many compliments on my wedding-day look, and I owe it all to Jean! She also has a wonderful personality and is more than happy to answer any makeup/beauty/skin questions you have.

Jean was very friendly and pleasant to work with. She didn't try to push any one style of makeup on me while also helped find me a good look when I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. She came to my place for the trial and to the hotel I stayed in for the wedding, so she's very mobile. She definitely made me feel beautiful for my wedding.

Jean was extraordinary! She and her assistant did the makeup for the me (the bride), entire wedding party, plus the moms- 12 people in all! Everyone's makeup looked amazing. Even after I changed my mind about some color options, Jean didn't flinch and made it work! Thanks Jean!

I wanted to write you a review and let you know what a wonderful job you did for my wedding. As you know I got married on 10-10-09 and you did an amazing job with my makeup. I received so many compliments. My eye lashes looked great and my makeup lasted the whole day. You did a wonderful job picking colors to compliment me and your attention to detail means a lot. If something wasn't just perfect you made it perfect. You were so kind to ask me several times if I was ok or if I was getting stressed with all the commotion. You are very good at what you do and are very professional. I'm so glad you did my makeup. You even took time to help my mom with her eye liner (that was kind). We cannot thank you enough for your help with Beth’s wedding! All of our makeup looked fantastic. Out of all the weddings I have been in (a lot!) this was definitely the best my makeup has ever looked. My sister, the bride, was flawless and our mom looked so great she took my breath away.

For those who are trying to decide which makeup artist to book look no further. I have found in my experience that makeup artists either use too little makeup for photos or way too much. Finding the perfect balance is critical and this is not a problem for Jean, the look she creates is perfect. Our mother is a tough and a complete perfectionist when it comes to how her girls look so I know if she loved our makeup, it looked fantastic.

Where do I even begin?!? Let me begin first by saying thank you! I am very particular about how I wear and like my make-up. I went through about 5 different make-up trials with very unsatisfactory results and was getting to the point where I figured I would just have to do it myself. However, then I found you, who is a perfectionist like I am. You cared about every little detail and were very much into how I felt about how the make-up looked. I enjoyed that I could let you know if I wanted something a little different and you conformed to what I like but still gave me a professional opinion about what would look good in the photos. I also liked, that for some of my bridesmaids who had no idea what they wanted you were able to match their skin tone and make them look beautiful as well.
You were absolutely wonderful to work with and a pleasure to be around. I thought it was so sweet that you were so caring of me and observant when things were getting stressful. Thank you so much for sharing in my special day and making all of us feel so beautiful.

I had been familiar with Jean and the Entire Folchi Family for some time but had never worked with Jean until this year where it seems we've worked together 5 or 6 times.
