I started following Jean-Phillipe’s wedding photography on Facebook and was always struck by the emotion and beauty he captures in his shots. So, when visiting my family for the first time with my two-month-old, I asked him to take some portraits of the family and some “candids” of baby.

JP arrived promptly with all the lighting we would need for the shoot. He was super professional, knowledgeable and adept at corralling/posing my crazy family. People are always amazed the photos were taking in our living room. He made our white walls look like a studio and the pictures of my baby are precious! I would definitely recommend JP to capture any photo-worthy life event or celebration.

JP was so wonderful and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. My husband and I really enjoyed working with him. The thing that sets JP apart was how comfortable we felt with him, his beautiful photos, and his attitude toward capturing beautiful photos. With our wedding in the forest in December, we knew we needed someone who would be willing to go out incase of rain. He told us he was not afraid to go out in those conditions. And, he proved it alright!! During our wedding, it did rain. Almost to a point that we didn't want to go out! But he gave us that little push, and some of the most beautiful photos came from that!!

Definitely couldn't have done it without him. Not to mention, he was so thoughtful to bring lots of protective gears for his camera PLUS my wedding dress. So, my dress was in perfect condition even though I walked through the raining forest for some shots.

We enjoyed working with JP. Our engagement pictures turned out great. Just as how I imagined them to be. My fiancee and I were a little ackward while doing the shoot because we are not used to someone following us around and taking pictures of us. But JP was so cool and friendly and he made us feel comfortable and next thing you know we were enjoying and having fun during the shoot. Thanks JP for the awesome and unforgetable experience.

It was really important that my husband and I found a photographer who took photo-journalistic images (as in natural, not staged/posed) and had a good personality to work with...similarly someone who would blend in with our guests on the big day. JP was without a doubt this person. We continue to receive compliments about what a great job he did, from people applauding his charm to others commenting on the fact they never even noticed his presence....it is never good when you feel like the photographer is in your face. I have to admit as the bride I hardly noticed him, or his assistant, the whole day/night and they both managed to capture great photos from start to finish. Including all the most intimate moments. First of all i just want to say WOW!!! The wedding photos turned out so beautiful and creative. I was extremely happy with the results. JP is a really kind person as well as very cheerful on the wedding day. The way he takes photos, you wont even notice hes there,and thats what makes the photos so great... they are so natural. You avoid having fake cheesy smiles, because he captures the true joy of the wedding. He took pics of all the important things in the wedding and much more. The angles, colors, and style are awesome. Plus he is so nice and is always willing to talk to you. throughout the whole process we kept in touch through the easiest form of contact which happened to be email for me. He is prompt in responding to emails and calls and is always willing to meet if you have any questions. Then he also did a great job on the album, his design is classy and he encourages us to give our input even if that means more work for him. His packages are of good value meaning you get a lot for your money, and he goes above and beyond what he agrees to do. His print are so clear and even the paper is high quality. If I had to do it all over again i would choose JP! To me photos are so important because that is what you have to look back on and i am very pleased so If you want to have great memories for your future.. Dobrin photos is your answer.
