I cannot say enough how incredible and lovely the photos turned out. Jeff is a truly gifted artist. I received numerous compliments and emails from many friends (who go to a lot of weddings) going out of there way to tell me how much they enjoyed the pictures and slideshow. I can’t imagine using anyone else.

Because my fiancé, now husband, is an amateur photographer, the photographer for our wedding was an extremely important decision for us. A friend had recommended Jeff LaPlante, and while we were on a tight budget, I thought I’d at least go to his website and check out his work. When I finally did go to his website, I just happened to be at a public library. I cannot describe what it was like to look at these couples through Jeff’s photographs and instantly fall in love with them, and their stories. I both laughed out loud in the library and cried while looking through all of his amazing blogs and photographs. I also immediately went home to my fiancé and told him that this photographer is the one. Jeff LaPlante Photography was definitely our splurge of the wedding budget. Was it worth it? Every single penny. The photos that Jeff and his wife took throughout the day were stunning. He and his wife were unbelievable at fading into the background, I hardly knew they were there! During the reception, he even set up a monitor and hooked it up to his camera showing a slideshow of the photos he had already taken during the day. There was a huge crowd gathered around the monitor throughout the night and we kept hearing again and again from people at how amazed they were at the quality of the photographs! You have your memories of that day, and that is important, but to go back and look at the photographs that Jeff LaPlante photography have provided, it makes you remember that day all over again, in such a fantastic way!

When I was looking around at photographers, I felt like no one’s work pictures compared to Jeff’s. I wanted a photojournalistic style – people doing things and looking like themselves, not posing for pictures. For me, pictures were the most important part of the wedding. I didn’t care what we ate, I just wanted to make sure there were great pictures of the day to look at later! Jeff’s website shows his beautiful slide shows set to music that he makes for everyone he works with, and seeing those on his website made me realize that this was the photographer we wanted to use. I still go back and look at our engagement and wedding slideshows more often than our album, although the album is just as beautiful. Jeff was a pleasure to work with – taking tons of time with us for all of our shoots as well as choosing our pictures.

It is uncanny how Jeff is able to constantly capture the best elements of the people that he shoots. Not only is he a professional photographer but he is also an artist who takes the time to know his subjects and their individual needs. His skill and artistic talent culminate to produce photos that are no less than extraordinary boardering on Magic! He has produced by far the best photos that Laura and I have ever taken together. Our thanks to Jeff for putting so much hard work and heart into his products. We cannot wait to see more of your work and to share the moments that you have caputred for us. No doubt Jeff will continue to dazzle us with his perfection. Thank you Jeff for such outstanding photos!

If you are looking to have your day captured and don't just want cheesy posed pictures, pick Jeff, you will not be disappointed. You wont even know he’s there and you'll relive your wedding day for the rest of your life through the pictures he took.

You did a fantastic job! Our parents absolutely loved the ipods with the slide shows. And that was such a wonderful surprise to get to see the wedding photos at the wedding. Many people commented how they had to wait a year to see their wedding pictures, and we got to see ours before the wedding was even over. Very awesome. If you ever need a reference or anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. It was a great idea to head to sculpture park and all of the pictures look wonderful.

I can't express how phenomenal Jeff is at his work. He has the wonderful ability to capture the spirit and energy of a particular shot.
