Our experience with Jeff Franks and his amazing team was absolutely incredible. From the very first conversation I had with Jeff he made me feel comfortable, explained all of the details about his process, and assured me that he could work with any budget. After looking through his pictures I knew that I really wanted Jeff, but I wasn't sure he'd fit into my budget. What sealed the deal for us was the fact that Jeff let us tell him exactly what we wanted rather than only offering certain package deals.
We first did out engagement shoot with him and we fell in love with the pictures. Jeff is great at finding the right lighting and color balance and puts you at ease with his friendly personality. Pictures were the highest priority for us next to getting the church we wanted, so this was a big deal to me.
The day of the wedding, Jeff and his team worked so hard...from 8am until 11pm getting us every shot we could possibly want. They were there from beginning to end and by the time the cocktail hour rolled around, I didn't even notice his team there anymore. They literally blended in with the crowd and still got incredible shots.
I could not be happier with the 2100 shots that Jeff gave to us and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for a fantastic photographer. I cannot imagine a better photographer out there exists so make sure you contact him early. We contacted him 12 months out from our wedding and by the time 11 months out rolled around, someone had already called him to request the same date. Make sure to book him early!!!

~ Service was excellent - the pictures turned out beautiful, but more importantly Jeff and his team were easy to work with, unobtrusive, and friendly. They really enjoyed taking our pictures and working with us.

~Very professional, Jeff generously drove four hours round trip the week before the wedding to see our church and reception hall. I believe this helped him and the team get an idea for pictures, and it made my husband and I more confident that the shots would turn out as we expected, also that the shots were taken in the locations we expected (ex. in the garden in front of the church)
~Value was excellent - Jeff gave us so much for our money. We did not find another photographer that gave as much in terms of products and services as Jeff did.

Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone seeking beautiful pictures and a photographer who is willing to get to know his subjects, so that their personalities are reflected in the photographs. There are no boundaries to the lengths he will go to please you and I am more than happy with the work he has done for me and family. It also doesn't hurt that he and his wife and entire team are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. Even though I live about 6 hours from Jeff, he was willing to travel to photograph me. Jeffrey Franks and his team really captured every moment of our special day! From our engagement shoot,to the hair salon, to the pre-wedding festivities, ceremony,reception, and the exit. Not one moment was untouched by his camera. His team was very professional and descrete. Because my wedding day flew by as all weddings do there were moments captured on camera that i didnt even know happened and it was great getting to see them later. The detail shots were also very important bc my husband and I never had the timeto just go and see the table settings and details alone. The crew captured those and we will have those memories for years to come. I would highly recommend his services to any bride wanting a professional photographer to capture every moment of their special day!

Creating exceptionally beautiful photographs is always a byproduct of generating or capturing the beautiful light and shadow essential in any work of art. We're experts at creating proper lighting when available light is, well, not available. We believe creating beautiful light when it does not exist is what distinguishes a good, but inexperienced, photographer from an exceptional, experienced and competent photographer.
Additionally, we use a variety of professional lighting equipment: speed lights, Quantum portable flashes, video lights, portable (battery powered) Elinchrom studio strobe flash equipment, large panel and hand held reflectors, diffusers, scrims, gobos, snoots, stands, softboxes, umbrellas, etc...
We do destination weddings as well and we will travel to any location in the world you desire. Travel considerations will be included in the wedding package and we expect our clients to reasonably compensate us for travel and lodging. Destination weddings are really fun for us, so if you are thinking about getting married at some exotic location we're the ones jumping up and down with our hands up in the air.
However, if you would like 4x6 proofs in a very nice proof box, a book bound or sprial bound proof book, for example, or even an album of your proof images we will oblige and offer those services at a very reasonable additional charge. Each wedding package is a custom proposal for each unique client. We respect your budget and your needs; we tailor our services to meet each of these important considerations. There will never be any surprises; all services are itemized and listed in plain English in your proposal and on your contract.
This can sometimes be a very confusing concept for people hiring a photographer for the first time. I own the copyright for all my work, but I license the usage of that work, or I produce reproductions of that work, for my clients.
Think of the issue of copyright like this, if you were to write a book and then contract with a publisher to print and sell the book, you would retain the copyright; it was your original work. You sold usage rights to the publisher to print and publish your book; the publisher would pay you the negotiated fee. If later, a movie studio wanted to make a movie from your book, they would come to you to negotiate usage rights to make a film from your book. They would not negotiate with the publisher, they do not hold the copyright, unless you had sold them the copyright. Does that help? If not, call me and we can discuss it further. It may seem a little complex, but it's really not, and it is nothing to be too concerned about. From your perspective, you want access to the images and you shall have that access via usage rights I will grant to you.
If I am approached to use one of your images in a commercial campaign I would contact you and I would need your permission, and you would be entitled to compensation for the use of any images with your likeness for commercial purposes. Fair enough?
A reasonable question, but a tough one to answer. We tailor each wedding package to our client's needs and budgets and avoid the one size fits all approach. We have a price list for our services and the products we offer that we use as our baseline when we build a custom wedding package; our price list is updated on January 1st each year. A custom package will always be less than the sum of the individual services and products, a volume discount of sorts.

We add it to our list of services and products; we find a way to meet your needs. If that means contracting a service with another vendor or establishing a relationship with a new vendor that offers the product you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want, then that is what we do, we go and make a new friend and we make you happy.
