Jeffrey's Photos

I cannot say enough great things about Jeffrey's photos. He was exactly what I wanted in a wedding photographer - unobtrusive, creative, fun AND very flexible in terms of travel. We had our ceremony in the middle of a field (w/ reception in a barn) and despite all the challenges that came with the location he produced the most amazing professional quality images. The photos were warm, romantic, personal, fun, spontaneous - all the things I wanted to capture on our special day. Jeffrey was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend to anyone looking for beautiful photos.

Overall I thought Jeffrey was a great photographer. When my fiance and I were soliciting possible photographers, he loved his aesthetic and his fun and artistic take on wedding photography. Having a quality photographer was one of our priorities, and we are very happy with Jeffrey's work.

Jeffrey was extremely flexible and accommodating. Prior to the wedding he traveled from NYC to Philly to meet with us and scope out the placed we wanted pictures. When I shared my worries about worst-case scenarios that would prevent him from coming to the wedding, he hired an assistant so I could rest easily knowing there would be someone there who could fill in (we paid a little extra but it was worth it) . He also promises/states in the contract that he'll find a replacement in case of unforeseen circumstances, but since our wedding was in June I was too nervous about finding someone that time of year. (I was type of bride who got obsessed with back-up plans.) Of course everything was fine and he was there, but I appreciated his respect for my bridal nerves.

My hubby and I did the staged photo shoot prior to the ceremony (we had a few spots around the city we wanted as backdrops, and didn't want to waste time during the reception doing formal shots with our wedding party). Pre-wedding nerves and coordinating our friends and families had gotten us a little tense before the shoot, but Jeffrey was calm. He adapted to a last-minute location change due to a midday rain shower and was generally cheerful and flexible the whole time.

The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more pictures of the ceremony, particularly the processional. There are a lot of good pictures of me walking down the aisle with my parents, but everyone else was kind of sparse. We had our dog be our flower girl, and I would have especially liked more pictures of her walking down the aisle with the ring bearer. I understand that dogs and 6 year-olds probably aren't as easy to get good shots of as adults, but I'm still kind of bummed.

Overall though, I am very happy with the way that everything turned out. We're still waiting for the full collection of photoshopped files (the wedding was relatively recent) but the ones that we've gotten are great.

Jeffrey was great! Next time we get married we will definitely have him take our photos again!
