Jeff Scott was our DJ at our April wedding on a Sunday evening at the Stockade Inn in Schenectady. He was immensely helpful in planning and we were able to personalize our reception in creative ways. At the event he was very responsive and professional. The entire room was up and dancing the whole time--we had a group of people who ranged in age from 86 years to 14 yr and everyone said it was the best party they had ever been to. Jeffrey Scott is by far the best dj in the area!!! My husband and I cannot say enough good about Jeffrey Scott, who DJ'd our 10/22/11 wedding. He was highly professional, always responded in a timely manner, went out of his way to ensure that we felt comfortable with decision making, and was proactive about things, offering help or advice in situations where I was unsure. Above all, our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had at our wedding, thanks in no small part to the great job Jeffrey did with music selection. Jeffery Scott was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. He is very professional and works extremely hard to ensure that everything goes as planned. His advice was knowledgeable and essential. Our guests are still talking about what a great time they had. Jeff gets the party started and keeps it there without resorting to gimmicks and clichés. There were a few hiccups during our reception that were not his fault, but he was the one that was able to quickly find solutions for us. He definitely went above and beyond. We would recommend him to anyone that wants the perfect reception that everyone will be talking about.

My now wife and I heard DJ Jeffrey Scott at a friends wedding over a year ago and we knew then that he would be our DJ if we were ever to get married. As soon as I proposed to my wife we did not hesitate to call him to book our date of 9/10/11. From the moment we met face to face with Jeffrey we felt very confident we made the right decision. He could have not been easier/nicer to work with and his level of professionalism is second to none. First I will say that I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled because Jeffrey Scott did an amazing job at my wedding. I really wanted a fun, party with a lot of dancing and I got just that, all because of Jeffrey Scott. I cannot say enough good things about him. If you want a great DJ for your wedding you need to get him.

Jeffrey Scott was phenomenal from start to finish! So many of our wedding guests approached my husband and me throughout our reception to tell us how fabulous our DJ was. Jeffrey Scott books fast, though, so make sure to jump on it if you want him as your DJ. We called him over a year in advance, and within 24 hours of us calling him he had someone else call about the same day. He was kind enough to give us first dibs - thank goodness! He came highly recommended from other vendors in the wedding business, and now that I have worked with him I understand why. My husband and I ballroom dance, so we wanted a DJ who would play a good variety of music to get our guests up and moving and having fun. My biggest worry going into my wedding day was that no one would dance...that worry quickly vanished as soon as I entered my reception. Our reception's dance floor was NEVER empty - people were dancing all night long! Our reception was 6 hours long, and as the last song of the night played, every single person in the room was still going strong on the dance floor. Jeffrey Scott knows how to keep a party going. He knew what songs to play when - fast vs. slow, genre, etc. - and every musical transition he made was natural and well done. Jeffrey Scott also acted as the MC for our reception, and he did an excellent job. In our final meeting with him before the wedding, Jeffrey explained to my husband and me what the flow of events would be the day of, and they were all well-thought out and flowed very well at the actual event. He also did a good job suggesting entrance songs for the bridal party and when my husband and I were announced at the reception. His equipment was clean and modern looking - his over all presentation (supplies, music choice/quality, and presentation skills/DJ style) was extremely professional - but still fun! I especially liked that he was classy - no crazy disco lights, no chicken dance, no electric slide, no mardi gras beads, etc. - but still fun and able to keep the party going strong. No worries about feeling like you are at a high school prom if you hire Jeffrey Scott - our party was rocking all night long, but still sophisticated! HIRE JEFFREY SCOTT if you are looking for an amazing DJ at a great value. The music and entertainment can make or break a wedding reception - not a place to take chances!

Two words describe Jeffrey Scott as a DJ and person- Absolutely Fabulous!! My husband and I could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Jeff was energetic, fun and knew exactly what to play to keep all our guests having a great time. He definitely surpassed our expectations. Jeff went above and beyond being an awesome DJ and in a moment where I probably would have become bratty or upset bride, he knew exactly how to make me smile and make sure I continued to have the great time I was having.

Without Jeffrey Scott I am not sure we would have had guests dancing all night! He played the best music and absolutely loves his job, which made for a great evening. He also perfectly announced our bridal party, even though some had some pretty difficult names to pronounce. He was also spot on in starting our first dance music in the right spot so that we only had to worry about messing up our footwork :) I highly recommend Jeffrey Scott to all those busy planning brides to be!

I cannot stress how amazing Jeffrey was. We had a wedding planner at our venue who wasn't really on top of anything and without Jeffrey, I might have been worried. Every time we spoke to Jeffrey, it was like a instant wave of calm washed over us. We knew that we didn't need to even think/worry about that aspect of our wedding because he had it under complete control. He smoothed over several mishaps during the day and ran the reception with complete ease. He helped me pick out my music and even took the first 1.5min of a song and turned it into my entire entrance music. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we received so many complements from our guests. Overall, Jeffrey was such a pleasure to work with and one of my favorite venders!

Jeffrey Scott is great!!!! He was fun to work with from the start. We clicked from the start when he told me he did not play group dances or bring cheesy props to wedding receptions. He was especially helpful as we approached the wedding day and he gave helpful advice regarding details, such as the toasts, first dance, parents dances, and grand entry. I am really going to miss working with him and would recommend him.

Jeffrey Scott is absolutely amazing. I was an out-of-town bride for him and he handled everything with the banquet manager to insure everything went smoothly. Even when I tripped and nearly fell on the stage Jeff kept the crowd going and made me feel relaxed. I believe Jeff is the perfect Dj to think on the spot (and with my family it seems like you never know what might happen!). I know the music was enjoyed by all from my 3 year old to my husbands 80 year old grandparents. I would definitely have a high recommendation for him for any wedding or event I truly believe you won't be disappointed!! Thank you for everything Jeff, you helped us never lose sight of what was most important and that was having fun and celebrating our love.

Following one of my colleague’s weddings, the most common bit of feedback I heard from multiple people was about how great the DJ was. After hearing these reviews, we inquired about who he was and received Jeffrey Scott’s contact information. We contacted Jeffrey and following a prompt reply, he was able to meet with us within days. We were very impressed with his cordiality and professionalism, as well as his description of a very organized approach to customizing his services to our wedding.

As the day drew near, we met with Jeffrey to make the final preparations. Since he was providing the music and sound system for our ceremony and reception, he was very accommodating about our selections for the ceremony music, while providing excellent guidance to ensure that all of our songs complemented one another. For the reception music, Jeffrey reviewed our selections and helped us identify a couple of songs we really liked, but could not remember the name. One special request we had was for a two-part first dance that used two different songs. Jeffrey offered to create a remix of the two songs using shortened versions of each. A few days later, we received a copy of his work and were extremely pleased. We used it for our first dance.

On our wedding day, Jeffrey exceeded all of our expectations. His setup for our outdoor ceremony provided our guests with clear, and audible sound so that they could follow the officient, our readers, and the music. For the reception, he did an excellent job with the introductions and the music selections, making sure that we were able to enjoy our personal music choices, while keeping the rest of the program upbeat and enjoyable for our guests. The lighting he provided added to the classy ambiance of our reception venue. We received high praise from our guests about the quality of Jeffrey’s work and we were extremely impressed as well. One noteworthy item is that we were forced to alter the order of the program due to the medical condition of one of our guests; Jeffrey did so willingly and seamlessly.

All in all, our wedding was truly special, and we were able to enjoy all of the details, due in large part to the quality of the services provided by our contractors. Jeffrey Scott was no exception. His professionalism and organization throughout the planning process and throughout our wedding day gave us peace of mind knowing that he was working hard to provide us and our guests with a truly memorable experience. We highly recommend him for your wedding.

One word....AMAZING!! I was an out-of-town bride and Jeff was there for me every step of the way - even helped me find other vendors (who were also fabulous). Jeffrey is AMAZING! My sister found him for her wedding a couple years ago, so we decided to interview him for the job. He was instantly a match! I am a very picky person and wanted our wedding day to be elegant, but a lot of fun...he made that process flawless. All we had to do was give him our main songs, a few guidelines, and he took care of the rest.
Every person at my wedding, from our young friends to our grandparents were dancing and having a great time....WITHOUT the corny gimmicks or harassment that some DJs work off of.
Jeffrey is great because he has done so many weddings and events, that he will cater to your every want, but also has advice to help guide those decisions if you're not sure what you want. Our wedding reception had 55 people. Guests included friends and family ages 4- 90. Jeffrey chose a great mix of music that had everyone dancing the entire time. We kept hearing, "this is the best reception ever!" and "the music is so good!". Jeffrey offered us great suggestions at our premeeting based on his experiences. He gave us helpful guidance thoughout our reception. He was master of ceremonies and spot- on when he needed to be and behind the scenes the rest of the time. His style is professional, supportive, and energetic. He helped us have a great night.

Jeff Scott was professional and accessible from the start. We appreciated the level of input he allowed us to have with respect to song choices. A lot of DJs we spoke to were hesitant to allow us this freedom as they seemed concern it would reflect poorly on them at the actual wedding. We would highly recommend Jeff to anyone.

I would highly recommend Jeffrey Scott Entertainment to anyone. My husband and I got married in May 2008 and were both completely happy with the service we received. Many people say that the DJ can make or break your wedding...I definitely agree. One of my biggest concerns was having a wedding with an empty dance floor and all of the guests lingering at the tables. I can say that from the minute the floor was open to the guests, there was always a crowd of people having a good time. I was excited to see that guests of all ages were enjoying the music and motivated to join in our celebration. I credit this to Jeffrey Scott because I was the bride that didn't want to have to come up with a playlist. There is so much brides have to worry about in wedding planning, that personally selecting each song was too tedious for me. I wanted to work with someone that had the ability to take into account the guests I had, as well as our personal taste in music. Despite that being my personal approach, Jeffrey Scott did sit down and welcome feedback as to what in particular I wanted to be played or not played, making me confident that he would easily work with couples with more specific requests. Also, there wasn't one song request throughout the evening that he could not accommodate, making the guests equally as happy.

I was also very pleased with how well Jeffrey Scott worked with the reception hall staff. He was set up on time and helped the entire evening flow. Introductions went extremely well and his voice sounded great (unlike some DJs I have heard at previous events that may have been "cheesy" or "over the top"). Also, he was flexible in the order in which we opted to have things done, cutting our cake right after we were introduced. He helped keep the evening moving, preventing guests from just waiting for the first dance, parent dances, etc.

Overall, the professionalism, quality of service, and flexibility of Jeffrey Scott Entertainment were of such high standards that I would not hesitate in booking for future occasions or recommending them to a family or friend. We were thankful to have received such great service for our wedding day.

From our first meeting to our wedding day, Jeffrey was an immeasurable help for our planning and organizing. He worked with our other vendors before hand and at the day of the wedding was a central figure in organizing the show and making sure everything went smoothly.

As far as DJ and MCing Jeffrey was spot on. He hit the mark of exactly what both my wife and I were looking for. I really wanted a lot of popular classics and she wanted top 40 pop popular dance music. Some how he perfectly blended these two starkly contrasting styles into an awesome blend to build a vibrant atmosphere and a packed dance floor.

My husband and I got married in August 2010 and we were extremely happy with the service we received from Jeffrey Scott Entertainment. Not only did Jeff make the trip to Buffalo for our wedding, he also met with us several times before to ensure we were completely satisfied.

I had been extremely concerned about the choice of DJ for our wedding. I have always said that I knew my wedding would be successful if the dance floor was packed all night. With Jeff, this "wedding dream" of mine was made a reality! The guests and myself were on the floor all night...I literally danced out the door!

My husband and I have both been to receptions where the DJ tries to make the entire night about them. Jeff was exactly the opposite. He made sure that everything ran smoothly and took as many requests as possible without feeling like he had to be on the mic all night. He walked us through our reception and parts that might not run smoothly and made suggestions on how to fix those particular things to make our day perfect.

Jeffrey was very flexible and accommodating as well. When the banquet staff was running behind on setting up dinner he suggested that we do the parent dance early so that our guests were not restless and so that no valuable time was wasted later in the reception. I ended up being extremely happy with this change and was so glad he suggested it.

Overall, the professionalism of Jeffrey Scott Entertainment was outstanding. I would absolutely book Jeffery Scott Entertainment for future occasions.

I have not one bad thing to say about Jeff... except our guests were having such a great time dancing we extended our reception an extra hour!!! :) He went above and beyond for my husband & I. Did a great job at our wedding. All the guests enjoyed his choice of music, and he did a great job reading the type of music the dancers would enjoy. Everything leading up to the reception was very well done. All of our questions were answered, the whole reception was outlined well beforehand, and he responded back to phone calls/emails very quickly. All around I would highly recommend his service.

Jeffery Scott was more than we thought we were looking for. He was amazingly professional while still incredibly personable. He was able to keep the wedding moving at a pace that did not feel rushed at all but we still had enough time to actually enjoy the reception. The dance floor was CONSTANTLY full and everyone (young and old) loved the music selection. He was incredibly easy to work with and had many suggestions that helped the reception run smooth. Everyone who worked with him (the wedding planner, photographer,etc) had nothing but great things to say about Jeff. My husband and I wanted to do something different for the introductions of the bridal party. Without hesitation Jeffrey Scott jumped on board with us and took all of our wants into consideration. He took the extra effort to make the introductions so wonderful. They were such a hit and it was because of him that the introductions and our entire reception turned out so well. He was so attentive to my husband and I the entire night. He made sure our wedding was the best day of our lives.

Jeffrey Scott is the best around! He is extremely friendly and professional and is very easy to work with. Because he has been doing this for so long, he is full of many tips for making your special day go perfectly. We enjoyed knowing that we were in great hands during our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to Jeffrey for releiving us of any stress during our special day!

Jeffrey was a wonderful DJ! He was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding. He met with us several times and really helped us to plan how our reception would work. I appreciated his experience especially during the planning process as he shared strategies that worked well in the past and really helped us to figure out what we wanted from our party.
Jeffrey was also wonderful on the day of our wedding. He read the room so well, and every song he selected was met enthusiastically by the crowd - they danced all night long! I would recommend Jeffrey to anyone looking for a classy and really fun event for young and old. He is great to work with - really prompt to respond to emails and questions and very easy to work with overall. We had a wonderful time at our wedding and so did all of our guests - thanks Jeffrey!

My three bigiest worries were the introductions, the music and the professionalism. Jeffrey Nailed the intro's. The dance floore was packed all night and he made the night about my bride and I, not him. I can not say enough good things about jeffrey. From Cutting our rock the reception dance song for us to piano during cocktail hour he did not disapoint. If this review sound to over the top, it is because Jeffrey is. I wish I had the option to choose 6 starts for Jeffrey. He is wonderful to work with- really listened to everything we wanted and took the time to get to know our story so he knew how we envisioned our ceremony and reception- Jeffrery helped make that vision come true. His song selection was absolutely perfect- 100% what we wanted. He greeted us at the door, holding the door for us, and helped to direct the guests one way or another. He also checked with us throughout the night to see if he could get us anything to drink, to see how the songs were going, and he did a great job as our master of ceremonies. If you are looking to have a classy wedding, Jeffrey is your guy!!

Jeff was amazing! Our wedding was so much fun and we danced all night! He has a huge selection of music, great voice and really helped me finalize a lot of details for the reception by giving me his advice from past experiences.

Jeffrey was a great DJ all around. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, and offered great advice and suggestions. He made the wedding reception fun and the music was great. He was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him very highly.

Jeffrey provided classy, professional DJ service at a very reasonable price. For our particular wedding, we wanted a nice blend of contemporary Christian music and the current pop selections. Jeffrey was one of the only DJs in our area familiar with both genres. He worked diligently with us to make himself available for our event. Jeffrey was very capable and played nearly every song on our "wanted" list.

Jeffrey provides upscale DJ service, so if you would like to have many group dances, like the Chicken Dance, Macarena, etc. played, you're better off with other DJs. However, have no doubt that Jeffrey will play what you ask him to and do it with a smile.

Jeffrey's emcee skills were also top notch. Do not undervalue the importance of having a skilled emcee to navigate through your special day. Our day started an HOUR behind, but Jeffrey was able to navigate us through and ensure everything appeared seamless. This was a fantastic benefit in an area I believe many DJs would have floundered.

Jeffrey made our day special. We knew he wasn't feeling well, but not one of our guests had a clue! His communication about his partners and everything else was great!

We had many comments regarding the quality of our reception, of which Jeffrey played a big part. We would certainly recommend Jeffrey Scott Entertainment!

Jeffrey did such a great job making our music what we wanted. He paid attention to what specific songs we wanted and even what specific songs we did NOT want, which is just as important! He had a great set up for our indoor/outdoor venue and was always available! I Highly recommend!

Jeffrey did a good job as a DJ. He was professional and attentive in the planning. I felt like he understood the type of music and vibe we wanted for our wedding while planning. We should have been more clear and given a better list of songs to play and not to play though. It wasn't exactly what i hoped for. We also had him do the lighting and regret that! He messed up our monogram!!
The letters were in the wrong order and the uplighting was supposed to be a navy blue (which he assured me he had) and they were purple! Now we have our beautiful photos with an incorrect monogram in the background...:)

Jeffrey Scott is amazing and has everyone on their feet all night long. If you want to have a true party that has the guests dancing all night long, hire Jeff! Not only is he a fabulous DJ, he is a blast to spend the evening with. His energy & spirit are contagious!
