I LOVED all my wedding pictures! She did such an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with my photos. Just looking at the pictures brings me back to my wedding everytime and I know it still will 10 years down the road from now and more. Jennifer got all the shots I wanted from the details to the candid moments, the special moments, everything I could have wanted she captured for us. She is also so nice and very easy to work with. I also did a bridal fashion session and a just married session with her. And just recently she took some maternity photos of me. I will definetly keep using her for any type of pictures.

I found JS on theknot.com. I called her, we set up an appointment to meet in Walnut Creek and I instantly fell in love with her! She's great at what she does and she is so humble about it. You instantly feel like she's one of your closest friend.

She did an amazing job on our engagement pictures. She posted a few of them on her blog. Our family and friends can't stop raving about them. We're not getting married until August, but I'm already excited to see the outcome! I told FI and JS that she will be taking all of our pics from now on: in bloom, baby, and family!

Jennifer Skog captures every detail and emotion of your wedding day and truly creates printed memories. Looking through all of the images brought tears to my husband and my eyes. Every photo made us relive the day and brought back the strong sense of anticipation that we felt to finally start our lives as husband and wife.

We met Jennifer last October when she shot our engagement session in San Francisco. We had a great time with her and became even more comfortable as the year passed before our wedding. She has the most congenial personality that makes you feel absolutely comfortable in front of the camera, resulting in sentimental photos.

With her photojournalistic style, you don't even notice her presence, which enables her to create printed memories. With her style of photography, you don't get an album of cheesy pictures where everyone is looking straight at the camera smiling.

I remember our initial meeting with Jennifer to see her portfolio. We sat in a coffee shop looking at her work and I felt myself overwhelmed with emotion from photographs of people I had never met.

Jennifer was the very first vendor that we hired. I may not have known what my colors were or who my bridesmaids were but I knew without a doubt that I wanted Jennifer Skog to shoot my wedding. How? By the amazing images on her website and blog that I had been religiously stalking for months. Photography was most important to me, and I had been doing my research vigilantly. I looked at every photographer in the Bay Area and was so sure than Jennifer was what I wanted. I only wish all the other wedding decisions had been so easy to make!
And now here it is, two months after our wedding and I can honestly say that she has just blown us away with our photos. I wanted to wait until we had recieved all our photos before posting a review and I am so glad that I did! The emails that have been gushing in from frends and family are all about Jennifer's work! So many people have told me that they are the best wedding photos that have ever seen, and many say that they look as if they should be in a magazine. People stop me on the street (I live on a small island) to say that someone forwarded on my photos and that they can't believe how gorgeous they are! One friend of mine who lives in London said that she isn't dating anyone, but has decided that when she gets married she is flying Jennifer Skog (whom she has never met) to London to take all her photos, because she loves the images SO much.
I should warn potential Skog brides that once you get your slideshow, you may be utterly useless for a couple of days! I just keep watching my slideshow over, and over and over....
Jennifer not only creates the most stunning, heartwrenching images.... she is also a complete pleasure to have around on the day of. She is absolutely hysterical, fabulously outgoing and very charming. I left my wedding feeling that if I lived in California that Jen & I would be buddies. I have since found out that most brides also feel this way.

I recently had a couture boudoir session with Jennifer Skog and Maria Chang from PMA. If you are thinking about it...DO IT. It was an absolutely incredible experience and well worth it.

They both made me feel so comfortable and we had a GREAT time. They were amazing to work with and are so talented. Jennifer has a sexy eye that really captured me, while bringing in her talent to capture angles, lighting, and design. Maria was so good at making each type of outfit fit with the appropriate hair and make-up. We did it all, sexy, pinup, water, bedroom, sophisticated...and much more. It felt great to live up this glam sexy view through boudoir. I love the photos so much and can't wait to show my husband.

Jen did our engagement pictures (with 3 outfit changes and 3 locations) and wedding photos, and she was worth every single penny!!!! All pictures turned out even better than I could have ever imagined.Let's be honest, most of us aren't used to being photographed professionally, and although, models make it look easy to pose... it's actually pretty difficult! Jen was awesome with setting us up for shots, and she was patient with us. She was able to make a few weeds next to a building look like we were in a field of wheat. She also made a small area of a park in SF look like a forest! She's absolutely amazing.On the day of the wedding, Jen was on top of things. She was able to locate who she needed for pictures, went through the crazy family/relatives/etc. photo session quick and painless, and she was an absolute joy and so fun to work with! I had guests ask me on the wedding night who my photographer was, so needless to say, after I sent a sample of pictures Jen took of the day, I received even more requests for her contact information.I would recommend Jen to everyone and anyone who wants someone who is very professional, creates high-end fashion looking shots, knows and only shoots your 'best' angles, and just all around FUN to be around!

Jennifer Skog was the first vendor that we booked for our wedding. When I saw her work, I knew instantly that she was the photographer for us! Our couture engagement shoot (with Maria Chang of PMA) was so much fun, and our wedding photos were amazing!

The Skog Team consisted of Jen and her brother Rob. They both have an eye for beautiful lighting, detail, and just a bit of edginess. They captured our wedding in a glamorous photo-journalistic style, as well as taking the standard family portraits. We felt at ease with them and are very, very pleased with the results.

The packages are fairly pricey, but photography was a priority for us, and she was definitely worth every penny.

Love Jen. Love her attitude. Love her mad skills. Love everything she does.

I knew I wanted her as my photographer before we even had our venue booked. It's really difficult to write her a review because her work speaks for itself. She is absolutely the BEST you will find. While there are so many great wedding photographers out there, I have yet to find one who's work is so consistently stunning.

Why is she so different? To me, most "good" wedding photographers can capture the joy and emotion on your wedding day. That's because weddings are just naturally filled with with lots of joy and emotion and if you are decent at what you do, you will be able to capture those moments. BUT, there are very few photographers that can make everyone look their best in pictures. I personally think I am very unphotogenic. I SERIOUSLY hate about 99% of pictures of myself. My biggest fear for my wedding was that I would plan and prepare, and do all I could do, and then look back at the pictures and think, "ugh...I hate how I look in my wedding pictures." That's why I knew I needed Jen, because she is somehow able to make people look their best. No, she's not a magician, I am not going transform into Angelina Jolie, but she does know how to capture people at their best angles and at the perfect moment. That was the number one priority to me. Her style is also exactly what I wanted, a perfect balance of posed and candid. Her pictures are so amazingly romantic and sultry. Aside from her beautiful work, she's also such a pleasure to work with. She's on time, professional, and organized. She has a hilarious personality that puts you at ease. Her brother, Rob, who shot the wedding with her is fantastic, too. He captured so many great shots during the wedding!

While we were on a very tight budget for the wedding, there was one thing that I did not hesitate to splurge on, and that was photography. I knew I could live without fancy linens, or extravagant florals. All of that would only last one day. But you will look at your wedding photos for the rest of your life, and I wanted the best we could possibly get. Jen is definitely worth the investment!

Jennifer was one of the photographers recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events. We decided to go with someone else, but as fate will have it, she works exclusively with our wedding make-up artist Maria Chang of Professional Make-Up Artistry for couture boudoir shoots. Being in love with Maria, I just booked a couture shoot without even meeting Jen.

I told Jen that I am very attached to my wedding dress, and asked if I could sneak it in as one of my outfits ... even though it's not really a boudoir outfit. She agreed, so in addition to the boudoir, I basically had a couture bridal shoot as well!

On the day of the photo shoot, I met Jen and immediately felt very comfortable with her. She is super funny and easy going. She taught me how to pose, and made me laugh the entire time. Jen and Maria are really a fantastic team to work with!

When I got my teaser shots, my husband and I were floored! It took a few moments to absorb how amazing the pictures turned out. The bridal pictures were more high fashion than traditional pictures, which is what I wanted since I already have wedding pictures. And the boudoir pictures were way more than I hoped for - Jen and Maria can make you look good with very little clothes!

I think every woman should have beautiful, sexy, and tasteful pictures of herself, and I highly recommend Jen to do them! Thank you Jen!

Jennifer Skog is a true artist who you will feel immediately comfortable with. She will make your wedding a piece of art. Her vision is unique, edgy, and sexy - entirely non-traditional which was exactly what we were looking for. Jennifer was open to whatever ideas we had about locations for our engagement shoot and wedding shoots but also had tons of her own ideas. We ended up basically going to all the locations and the photos are the best I've ever had in my life. I would recommend Jennifer Skog in a heartbeat.

Jennifer did our engagement portraits and photographed our wedding. She was a joy to work with and has a really gifted eye. We love and cherish the countless beautiful photos she captured for us and are so glad we were able to work with her!

After seeing some great wedding pictures from Jennifer, and knowing how much brides love her work, I decided to book Jennifer for a boudoir photo shoot. I have to say, I'm disappointed. Considering the high price (I believe it was $500 for the shoot, and another $800+ for the book), I was expecting myself to LOVE the pictures. But sadly, I just think they're okay. I'm sure my husband will like them, and I guess that's what's important since this is a 1st year anniversary gift. But basically, I felt like some of the pictures looked too photoshopped. I know I don't have great skin so some editing is needed, but when I look at my pictures, I feel like it doesn't capture ME. I'm definitely not an expert on photography, but I would think...a really good photographer will capture great pictures (with the right lighting, etc.), so that little editing would be required. Don't get me wrong. The pictures are still nice. But not worth the price in my opinion.

Jennifer Skog is the consummate professional and one of the post talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her attention to detail and unique style and grace, really bring out all that is magical in a shot. She embodies perfection on film and is a sweetheart to boot!
