After seeing some great wedding pictures from Jennifer, and knowing how much brides love her work, I decided to book Jennifer for a boudoir photo shoot. I have to say, I'm disappointed. Considering the high price (I believe it was $500 for the shoot, and another $800+ for the book), I was expecting myself to LOVE the pictures. But sadly, I just think they're okay. I'm sure my husband will like them, and I guess that's what's important since this is a 1st year anniversary gift. But basically, I felt like some of the pictures looked too photoshopped. I know I don't have great skin so some editing is needed, but when I look at my pictures, I feel like it doesn't capture ME. I'm definitely not an expert on photography, but I would think...a really good photographer will capture great pictures (with the right lighting, etc.), so that little editing would be required. Don't get me wrong. The pictures are still nice. But not worth the price in my opinion.

I LOVED all my wedding pictures! She did such an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with my photos. Just looking at the pictures brings me back to my wedding everytime and I know it still will 10 years down the road from now and more. Jennifer got all the shots I wanted from the details to the candid moments, the special moments, everything I could have wanted she captured for us. She is also so nice and very easy to work with. I also did a bridal fashion session and a just married session with her. And just recently she took some maternity photos of me. I will definetly keep using her for any type of pictures.

I found JS on theknot.com. I called her, we set up an appointment to meet in Walnut Creek and I instantly fell in love with her! She's great at what she does and she is so humble about it. You instantly feel like she's one of your closest friend.

She did an amazing job on our engagement pictures. She posted a few of them on her blog. Our family and friends can't stop raving about them. We're not getting married until August, but I'm already excited to see the outcome! I told FI and JS that she will be taking all of our pics from now on: in bloom, baby, and family!

Jennifer Skog captures every detail and emotion of your wedding day and truly creates printed memories. Looking through all of the images brought tears to my husband and my eyes. Every photo made us relive the day and brought back the strong sense of anticipation that we felt to finally start our lives as husband and wife.

We met Jennifer last October when she shot our engagement session in San Francisco. We had a great time with her and became even more comfortable as the year passed before our wedding. She has the most congenial personality that makes you feel absolutely comfortable in front of the camera, resulting in sentimental photos.

With her photojournalistic style, you don't even notice her presence, which enables her to create printed memories. With her style of photography, you don't get an album of cheesy pictures where everyone is looking straight at the camera smiling.

I remember our initial meeting with Jennifer to see her portfolio. We sat in a coffee shop looking at her work and I felt myself overwhelmed with emotion from photographs of people I had never met.

Jennifer was the very first vendor that we hired. I may not have known what my colors were or who my bridesmaids were but I knew without a doubt that I wanted Jennifer Skog to shoot my wedding. How? By the amazing images on her website and blog that I had been religiously stalking for months. Photography was most important to me, and I had been doing my research vigilantly. I looked at every photographer in the Bay Area and was so sure than Jennifer was what I wanted. I only wish all the other wedding decisions had been so easy to make!
And now here it is, two months after our wedding and I can honestly say that she has just blown us away with our photos. I wanted to wait until we had recieved all our photos before posting a review and I am so glad that I did! The emails that have been gushing in from frends and family are all about Jennifer's work! So many people have told me that they are the best wedding photos that have ever seen, and many say that they look as if they should be in a magazine. People stop me on the street (I live on a small island) to say that someone forwarded on my photos and that they can't believe how gorgeous they are! One friend of mine who lives in London said that she isn't dating anyone, but has decided that when she gets married she is flying Jennifer Skog (whom she has never met) to London to take all her photos, because she loves the images SO much.
I should warn potential Skog brides that once you get your slideshow, you may be utterly useless for a couple of days! I just keep watching my slideshow over, and over and over....
Jennifer not only creates the most stunning, heartwrenching images.... she is also a complete pleasure to have around on the day of. She is absolutely hysterical, fabulously outgoing and very charming. I left my wedding feeling that if I lived in California that Jen & I would be buddies. I have since found out that most brides also feel this way.

I recently had a couture boudoir session with Jennifer Skog and Maria Chang from PMA. If you are thinking about it...DO IT. It was an absolutely incredible experience and well worth it.

They both made me feel so comfortable and we had a GREAT time. They were amazing to work with and are so talented. Jennifer has a sexy eye that really captured me, while bringing in her talent to capture angles, lighting, and design. Maria was so good at making each type of outfit fit with the appropriate hair and make-up. We did it all, sexy, pinup, water, bedroom, sophisticated...and much more. It felt great to live up this glam sexy view through boudoir. I love the photos so much and can't wait to show my husband.

Jennifer Skog is the consummate professional and one of the post talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her attention to detail and unique style and grace, really bring out all that is magical in a shot. She embodies perfection on film and is a sweetheart to boot!
