I knew after our first phone conversation that Jennifer was the one for us. I'd already liked the stuff she had online, and once we chatted, it was clear that she was funny and sweet. Hey, there will be a lot of photographers' work that you like, so I think that making sure your personalities click is important. After all, that person's going to be there for the private moments of your big (and let's face it, stressful) day. We LOVE our photos -- Jen has a great eye and took the time to scope out the perfect picture spots at our venue. (She was there way before we were that day.) We also LOVE our album, and all our friends and family have just raved about it. We opted to pay a little extra to have Jen there with us all day, and it was worth it for the little things, like her getting there early and finding the perfect spots for our pictures. I'm not the money person in our family, so I'm not sure about comparing prices, but from what I recall, Jennifer's right in line with other photographers we looked at -- and was way more personable.

Jennifer photographed my 2nd and 3rd wedding. It is really saying something when you have your photographer longer than your husband! She did a great job with both - the first one was a big one in a formal setting and she managed everything great. The pictures were awesome. The second one was lower key and she captured the happiness we felt on that day. SHe also dealt well with my stepdaughter and a rogue priest. I also used Jennifer for kid shots (teens in b/w) and professional photos after the first wedding.

Jennifer and I clicked right away. My fiance and I decided to go with her even though she was over our budget (looking back I didn't have a realistic budget for the quality I was looking for anyway). She takes beautiful pictures and I felt like it was an old friend taking them. I worked with her through the whole process from first meeting through designing the album. I liked that it was the same person for everything not a different person for every stage and meeting the photographer on the day of the wedding and having a stranger take our wedding pictures. Since she'd gotten to know us throughout our engagement, and I'd taken engagement shots with her, she knew me and my fiance and everything flowed very well. She is worth every penny!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jennifer! Her bubbly personality, her amazing artistic eye, and her years of experience make her the best photographer I have ever worked with. (And I have worked with quite a few over the years) She is amazing at "capturing the moment". I have so many photos from my wedding that actually make my eyes well up looking at them! Her albums are simply amazing.
Since our wedding, I have used Jennifer again and again. The arrival of our 8 week old puppy, the birth of our beautiful twin girls, family photos, and of course, I have referred every one of my friends to her . (and they all raved about her as well) You cannot go wrong with Jennifer!

I selected Jennifer after interviewing several other highly rated photographers/studios in Chicago for my wedding in 2001. My friends and family still talk about our gorgeous wedding photos to this day. Since then, I only use Jennifer for our events including showers, christenings, and portraits. She is professional and does a fantastic job on event day. She puts people at ease and that makes for great photos. Some of my friends at our events have booked Jennifer for themselves after meeting her. She is an artist, yet respects your style and will be sensitive to your desires and needs. She is not outrageously priced like many of the others in her line of work. Her finished products are incredible and she takes great pride in her work. I would highly recommend Jennifer Wolfe photography to anyone.
