Jenny was absolutely lovely to work with. She invited us to her home for a private harp session to allow us to pick ceremony music. She was joyful, helpful and seemed honestly interested in our day running smoothly. We were so touched after the wedding when she emailed us a special photograph of the ceremony taken from behind her harp.

She didn't actually play at my wedding because she had another one booked later that day and didn't want to risk being late. How ever she gave me a list of other harpists in the local area. I really appreciated it.

Jenny Glass did my ceremony music and she was amazing! The harp was so beautiful and sounded great. Jenny and her husband are very friendly. Her price is great. She gives you a sample CD so you can hear what it may sound like at your ceremony. Then you meet with her and she plays for you. I am so glad I went with Jenny. JEENY GLASS IS A VERY TALENTED HARPIST. I HAVE USED HER ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS WEDDINGS IN 2004 AND AGAIN IN 2008. SHE IS A PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY WAY. HER HARP MUSIC JUST MAKES THE CEREMONY SO ELEGANT. PRICING FOR HER SERVICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JENNY GLASS. LIKE I STATED I USED HER TWICE AND NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT USING ANYONE ELSE THE SECOND TIME AROUND. SHE'S THE BEST.

I'm not a fan of anything traditional, including walking down the aisle to the Wedding March.
I only met Jenny one time in person and that was the day of the wedding. Prior to this meeting, Jenny and I communicated via e-mail. She was very responsive and very helpful. I explained that I was not a fan of the Wedding March and she helped me select the appropriate music for each aspect of our ceremony. Our guests loved the ambience the harp music set for our lake-side wedding.
I could not have been happier with her performance.

Jenny was absolutley wonderful!! She was so encouraging through all of my wedding planning. She is so nice that I found myself emailing her about everything wedding related-not just the music-to ask for her advice. She played the harp beautifully before, during and after my ceremony, then switched to the DJ portion, where she picked out the perfect songs-I'm afraid I had given her very little direction because I was so busy. Everything was amazing. She showed up early to scope out the location and get set up. Her timing was perfect during the ceremony. I cannot say enough nice things about her-I would recommend her to anyone!!
GUEST

Beautiful harpist! Wish I could've actually heard more of you play! I was too nervous walking down!

If you have always dreamed of having that fairy tale wedding with beautiful music serenading your walk down the aisle, and you live in the DFW area, you should consider having Jenny Glass play at your wedding. The harp music was absolutely beautiful.
GUEST

Jenny was wonderful from start to finish. She scheduled an appointment to go over the entire ceremony and learned a special piece for me and my husband!! She even sent back some of my payment because she taught I overpaid! Very affordable and a wonderful person. Excellent, and it adds elegance to the wedding!
GUEST

The ceremony music was lovely. Her experience shined thru and everyone enjoyed the harp. You can tell she LOVES what she does.
GUEST

Jenny Glass was great! Having a harp during the ceremony was definitely a plus if you want something different than your typical piano/organ. Jenny was very professional and worked very well with me. Her husband works as a DJ. I also used this service for my reception. David was very professional and had a great selection of songs. If they don't have the song you want on their playlist, they will either get it or play your music at the reception. Both were great musicians and helped the wedding move smoothly.
GUEST

She was wonderful. Having a harpist really made the service flow well, instead of recorded music or various singers and musicians trying to set up. She provided background music that moved the service along from pre-ceremony to the bridal entry to the exit and everything in between. I would highly recommend her.
GUEST

Jenny was wonderful. I had a very good experience with her, and I even had guests comment on how well she played. During our consultation, she played several pieces of music for me in person. She helped me select some of the music, and she even learned TWO new selections at my request, purchasing the sheet music for one of the selections herself.
She responded promptly to all my e-mails, and was completely professional the day of the wedding, arriving before our guests. Our wedding was outdoors on a fairly chilly day, but she played beautifully the entire ceremony. After the ceremony, while we were getting our pictures taken, she even shared one of her handwarming packets with me! I would absolutely recommend her to everyone.
If you have always dreamed of having music at your ceremony that your guests will always remember, then Jenny Glass is your answer. She is so experienced and professional in her services. A true joy to work with!

We announce the bride & groom’s entrance, your first dance, the throwing of the bouquet, all with professionalism and good taste. We DJ with two people; one operates the equipment, the other assures the reception is well coordinated with the Bride, the Groom, the Photographer, and the Caterer.
FAQ for Harpist, Jenny Glass
Who decides what music is played and when? You can have as much or as little to do with the decision making process as you like. After your deposit is made, you receive a written invitation to Jenny's home to choose music for your wedding. Relax and have a cup of tea while selections are played for your consideration. This consultation is available on weekday evenings giving you the opportunity to hear and select music in a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere. Because we live in a busy world, and time is valuable, some brides say "You are the expert; I trust in your talent and experience. Please make the musical decisions for me." Others choose their selections by telephone or e-mail. For receptions, brides usually give preferences as to the type of music they want (classical, contemporary, Irish, or a combination). If given Jenny's choice, she enjoys playing a variety of styles. Guests at a wedding reception are diverse and hopefully each guest will hear something that is special to them.
Why pay money for a live musician when a CD will do? A live musician plays the music that you have selected for various parts of a ceremony. A live musician makes a wedding appear perfectly choreographed even when things don't go as planned. A live musician can slip from one song to another as to what is happening at the time. Jenny shortens or lengthens a piece so that everyone walks into the music just as the bride envisioned.
Is a demo CD available? Yes. If she is available for your event date, Jenny will mail a free Demo CD. It demonstrates Harp alone, and Harp and Violin together. On the CD, Jenny also talks about which tunes fit each part of a wedding ceremony. The CD is packaged with a helpful wedding guide and a "Music Agreement" form.
Do you come to rehearsal? For an additional $50, Jenny can bring her small harp to play for a rehearsal. This can be arranged by phone. Most of the time, music at a rehearsal is not needed. A wedding rehearsal involves assembling a group of people and organizing them in the sequence of their entrances, where they will stand and the way they make their exits. Most attendants do better knowing who they follow rather than taking cues from the music.
Do you play for vocalists? Not often. Singing with a harp is very different than singing with a piano. Vocalists require a great deal of practice time to adapt to a harp. When advance arrangements are made, Jenny brings an amplification system with a wireless microphone that plays a singer's backup music.
