JRP not only is professional but also makes everyone feel at ease for your photoshoot or on your big day. I have used JRP for our wedding, engagement photoshoot, headshots, and more. Always easy to work with and provides great products. Its great to work with someone who is attentive to your every needs. I would definitely recommend JRP to all of my friends.

Led by me, Jen Renee, we are educated on and knowledgeable with lighting and although natural light is always preferred, there is much to be said about using flash created light effectively and beautifully.

Our mantra is to be a documentarian in the least intrusive way possible, thus we shoot in more of a photojournalistic style.

As well, ours is a style that is simple, modern and bright.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture

What do your packages include?

Albums, Flush Mount, Matted Prints, Thank You Cards, Video Montage

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

All images are personally edited by me; do not work with outside editing vendor.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes. I am equipped and trained to handle various lighting situations. I work with Nikon speed lights on location using various light modifiers and also use the Profoto D1 studio light system.

Is your media preference film or digital?

I shoot only Digital. With the wonderful Digital technology available, film like qualities can be captured Digitally.

How many photographers do you work with?

I have two assistants and a network of fellow photographers that act as second shooters.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes, I would be the main photographer.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

No. I work one event per day and generally just one event per weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes. I have a large network of amazing photographers that I work with.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I bring all that is necessary to get the job done, whether a smaller event or a larger event. This includes multiple camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, flashes, studio lighting (if applicable), light modifiers and other McGyver type tools.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Absolutely!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

My Collections are designed so that you get full day coverage (up to 12 hours) in each. I believe that the special moments to capture can come at any moment; not just during the ceremony or portrait time.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

As advised above, my collections include full day coverage (up to 12 hours). If you desire additional coverage, including rehearsal dinner or full weekend coverage, an additional fee may apply.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I don't stop until the job is done. Unless it might be an event where I am solo shooter and require a quick 15-20 minute break. Otherwise, I am moving throughout the event looking for those moments.

Do you charge for travel?

If booked within 150 miles of Camarillo, there is no charge. If booked outside that area or Internationally, there would most likely be an additional charge for travel expenses. If required to stay overnight, there would be fee for hotel and per diem food expenses.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

6-8 weeks is typical but I strive for a quicker turn around time.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

I show the photos in my Studio location via a fun and special Photo Unveiling Event. There are treats and beverages served as we enjoy seeing the photos for the first time. After that, I will host via online proofing gallery. I don't print proofs.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Proofs will be online after the Photo Unveiling Event for up to 30 days.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, I do retain the copyright for all of my images. However, for any digital images given to bride, I allow for unlimited Personal usage; including use on social media sites and printing. If Commercial use is desired, there would be an additional step and cost. This is outlined in my Wedding contract as part of the Model Release.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes, I may use the photos on my website/blog/Facebook business page. This is outlined in my Wedding contract. However, it is typically my practice to advise those in the images that I will be using the photos and where they will be seen.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

No, I don't provide high-res digital files as part of my Collections, except when an album is involved. I include the high-res digital files of the images used in the album as part of the Collection. All high-res files can also be purchased separately or depending on sales of wall art, provided as part of the sale.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes, after the initial Photo Unveiling Event. Will be available for 30 days from day posted.

What kind of albums do you offer?

I offer top of the line, archival and keepsake quality albums from top professional album companies. Flush mount albums include leather bound covers in an array of styles and colors. I also offer flush mount albums in linen and faux leather cover types.

When will the client get the final album?

Depending on date of final approval of album layout, it is 4-6 weeks for delivery of the album.
