THE JEWELRY EXCHANGE

Unfortunately, I did not read any reviews about this place before I went and made a purchase. I went here on Labor Day to buy my wife a wedding band. When we entered we were greeted by a doorman/greeter very reminiscent of Walmart. I now realize it is becuase their quality is inferior to most other jewelry stores.I asked to see 14K white gold wedding bands. The sales rep, who was not friendly or helpful, showed me the ring size and karat we were looking for which I then purchased. She had told me no less than 3 times that the ring was 14K. I beleived her because before I went shopping I priced these rings online with other retailers and they were all around the same price range for the same gram weight. The one I purchased was actually more expensive than Kay, Zales and Robbins Bros.When we got into the car my wife looked at the receipt and noticed that we had walked away with a 10K ring instead of a 14K ring which the sales rep had told us.Either the sales rep had deliberately lied to us or they have the most expensive 10K rings the world. Yes, I should have looked at the receipt before I signed it so I take full responsibility for my actions.However, in hindsight I do remember that the sales rep had mentioned to me that they only offer exhanges and no refunds (keep in mind all other jewelers offer full money back guarantees) after each time she said the ring was 14K.
