JGI Photography

For us, JGI Photography was perfect. Jesus is a young man transitioning from photography as a hobby to photography as a career. He is laid back, yet responsive, casual yet professional and has a great eye for artistic photos. We are very happy with the quality of the photos. He took traditional poses, candids and some different/artistic shots. His "second shooter" was friendly and professional as well. He is not the type of photographer to "direct" the event (I have seen some photographers try to choreograph the events and I don't like that style/approach). I would recommend making a list of the "important" photos you want to capture and giving that list to JGI. I forgot to do this and consequently missed taking some photos that I had intended to get. JGI has room to grow (which is why I am not saying 5/5 on everything) but overall, JGI was a pleasure to work with and we are very happy with the quality of our wedding pictures.

Our experience with JGI photography was seamless. We had an engagement session done with Jesus--he was very easy to arrange a date and time with, and even drove to Santa Cruz so we could have the boardwalk and the ocean in the background of our shots. He posted teasers within a few days, and we had all of our shots within the next week or so. He took some amazing pictures, accomodated the specific shots we requested. His style was unique, interesting, and classy. Overall, our experience with JGI photography was pleasant, fun, easy, and resulted in beautiful engagement shots!

Overall JGI (Jesus Gaona) is a great photography service which provides things from engagement sessions to weddings (and more!). Jesus and Nic (his wife) are great and very fun to work with which was very important for me. He was very comfortable to work with and easy to be around, making his presence a very welcomed and enjoyable addition to our wedding.

For the price, you can't ask for much more and the quality of his services are great! I highly recommend JGI photography to anyone considering a photographer in the South Bay/Gilroy area (and beyond!)

JGI Photography offerred us a great value and quality of their service. Jesus was very friendly and flexible to work with. Our wedding was a two-day event involving some traveling, and Jesus worked with us throughout the weekend with wonderful professionalism. His turnaround is QUICK!!! We got to view our wedding photos within a week! AMAZING!!!! My husband and I love the photos from our wedding, they all turned out very beautifully. We cannot ask for more, we highly recommend JGI Photography.
