Jigsaw Events

I have many things to say about Jigsaw Events, but won't say all in the interest in being professional. I hired them for full-service wedding coordination. What I got essentially was day-of coordination. The wedding day went great, and I'm sure they played a part in making that happen (hence the two stars). They also led us to GREAT vendors, which I wouldn't have known of otherwise. However, everything before that was another story. Communication is definitely not one of their strong points, which was quite frustrating with planning the wedding from so far away. I also think they take on more weddings than they can effectively handle.

Jigsaw's pricing for full-service planning is much cheaper than the rest of the wedding planners' in the Napa Valley. I think that's for a reason - you get what you pay for...

I would give negative stars if I could. Rather than being helpful, jigsaw events was the sole reason for stress right before my wedding. They are unprofessional, once they have your money it may take weeks (I literally mean weeks) before they respond to emails/phone calls. Do not be fooled by how helpful they are before they have your money. Also, read the contract carefully. The contract states that once you pay the deposit and sign the contract they will not take on another wedding - they do not abide by this, instead I was told, via email, 2 weeks before my wedding that another employee who I had NEVER spoken to or heard of would be the day of coordinator for my wedding. Save the money that you would have spent on them and spend a little more to get more professional vendors who don't need a coordinator to ensure their job is done properly. I would have saved myself a lot of stress by NOT using this coordinator. Good Luck!

I agree with all reviewers - negative stars are what Jigsaw Events/Kelly deserves. Jigsaw Events was also the sole reason I had stress before my wedding. They do not respond to emails or voicemails promptly, it will take weeks and then they don't respond to the questions you asked. Essentially when you hire them you are taking a bunch of money and flushing it down the toilet. Run, run very fast and NEVER hire them, it will be the biggest mistake of your wedding.

High level reasons not to use Jigsaw
1. Unresponsive
2. Unprofessional
3. Do not help you stay on budget, rather she enjoys simply spending your money as she gets a percent of your rentals and linens.
4. Treats you as if you are the vendor and not the client
5. Won't do anything she tells you she will do
6. Won't keep wedding on time

All in all, she was a nightmare to work with and stressed me out completely, when her job is to reduce stress. I'm a pretty relaxed, organized person and she was really just awful. Don't hire her.
