Jill is an awesome lady! She is very personable and friendly and goes out of her way to accomodate! She is well-organized and on-the-ball! When I arrived for our initial meeting she had everything laid out for me to see and answered all my questions. Then, when I returned to sign a contract with her she had it all filled out, detailing every piece of the photography package and services, ready to go over and sign. I can't wait to being working with her! What a great deal for the money, and we got a few special offers for meeting her at a bridal show!

Jill and her husband did our wedding pictures and my bridal portrait, which was taken at Dogwood Dell in Richmond. We have not seen our wedding pictures yet, but if they are anything like the pictures from my bridal portrait, they will be excellent! It was such a pleasure to work with Jill, and as others have said, she really takes the time to get to know you and learn what kind of photography you are looking for. I have emailed her numerous times during the planning process, and she is always very pleasant and prompt to respond. Working with her was so easy and so much fun!Jill seems to be the contact person for the business, but when you book her, you get two photographers...her and her husband. They seem to take pictures in a variety of styles - candid, posed, artistic, and photojournalistic - so you get the best of all worlds, and she was very willing and eager to work with us to get the types of pictures we wanted. You absolutely can't beat the value Jill offers for your money! She offered more hours on the wedding day, a bigger album, and more perks (parents' albums, a cd with all images, etc) for the cost of her package than any other photographer we looked at in the Va/Richmond area. She was also willing to travel to Richmond for my bridal portrait for no extra cost. Jill was fun, professional, flexible, helpful, and had excellent customer service. I highly recommend using Beard Photography for your wedding photographer!

Jill did a great job and was a lot of fun to work with. She spent lots of time getting to know us, and making sure we got what we wanted, and was very flexible with last minutes changes due to rain.
