Jill and her team do it again! Another masterpiece! My 21st birthday cake came from Jill's and it was delicious, so when we got engaged we knew that although we were getting married out of town, we wanted another Jill's cake. She had a ton of great ideas when we met with her and she helped us to design the most gorgeous cake ever! Her prices are completely reasonable too and not to mention that the cake is delicious! My wedding cake seriously looked like it belonged in a wedding magazine and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was.

The cake was absolutely out of this world in perfection of my vision, in taste, in quality, in everything!

After trying out some other Cake Shops and being underwhelmed, I decided to try Jill's even though it was a little far from where we lived. I am so glad I did!! Jill was extremely easy to work with and worked with our budget. I explained to her what I was looking for in a cake; she got out a pen and paper, and drew EXACTLY what I had envisioned. Not only was the cake gorgeous, it was so yummy!!

I highly recommend Jill's Cakes in Santa Clarita. Jill is so talented at what she does. Our cake was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing as well. Both of my sisters and I used Jill's for all of our weddings and we couldn't have been happier with the overall experience. The cake tasting was so much fun and they were so helpful every step of the way. The cake was GORGEOUS!

Jill's Cake Creations met all my expectations. Jill was so nice when I met her for the consultation appointment. I told her what i wanted in a wedding cake and she drew me a cake that I had in mind. 3months before the wedding I had decided to change the wedding design. And Jill was so understanding that she created a better design that I loved even more. The day of the wedding when I saw the wedding cake it was everything I have in visioned for the cake. And to top it off the cake was sooo good. All my guests loved the cake design and taste. Jill I give you 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!!

Please don't let the unassuming shop fool you. The cake is stellar. I had people at our reception telling me they don't even like cake, but were hoping for a second piece. Jill was nice and honest enough to tell us that we could look for monograms and other cake toppers online where there's more of a selection, she didn't try to push us into buying their in-store toppers. The cake was so good, that instead of freezing and saving the top tier for our 1-year anniversary, we ate it the day after the wedding. And when I say we ate it, we devoured the entire top tier.

The cake they made turned out more beautiful than I expected. Jill is so easy to work with and coordintated with our vendors to make sure the flowers were done on the cake and it was at the venue on time. All my guests raved about how good it tasted too!

Jill did a spectacular job with our cake. Her Raspberry mouse is to die for especially with the chocolate cake. She nailed exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful cake, tasted great too. Worked with the other vendors really well to get it all decorated and photographed, etc.

Jill's Cake Creations did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding cake! It had all of our guests talking and I know that they will never forget that cake. We got married on Halloween and wanted a Mad Hatter Halloween themed cake. Their staff is really creative and they know how to stick with your original ideas. They made some suggestions for design and if we didn't like it they would think of something else. Their prices are reasonable and they were incredibly flexible. I moved back from Boston to California one week and a half before the wedding and they were still able to meet with us and finalize things as soon as we got into town. Other places might not have been as flexible to cut it so close. If you go in for a tasting, I suggest you try the chocolate cake with champagne rasberry filling. Our guests loved that one and a spice with buttercream that we selected. If you choose this vendor, I know you will not be disappointed.

Jill has done most of my friends wedding cakes and even my sisters. So, I new I couldn't go wrong by going with her. We had checked out a few other vendors, but we choose Jill since we knew her product. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. Everyone loved the cake.

Jill's was wonderful! Our cake was beautiful. They worked with us until we were happy with the design and even bared with us when we changed our minds.

There was so many choices of creating the cake. The cost of the cake was very good and the little kids loved it! Came on time and it was my dream cake for my wedding.

Jill's cakes were amazing! The cake we chose got rave reviews and there was NOTHING left at the end of the night! We actually were able to eat our cake and we loved it! We got a yellow cake with the champagne and raspberry filling. It was very moist and fresh! Delicious!!!

She did such a wonderful job on the cake. It looked so beautiful and even though I pretty much got one bite it tasted pretty great! Jill is also very sweet to work with and will work with your budget. It was not expensive and really all I wanted.

Although Jill did not make our wedding cake (we opted for cupcakes) she did design and bake the Groom's cake which we had at our rehearsal dinner. It was a Laker themed sheet cake that came out beautifully! She was patient with me as I flipped through the portfolios of all her cakes, and didn't try to upsale me on anything. The cake was ready at the time promised and Jill even walked it out to my car and helped me secure it for travel. I can't wait until our next special occasion to order a cake from Jill's!

We worked with Jill on choosing the cake & the decoration. It was a very simple cake with minimal decoration, but she did an awesome job. She really worked with our budget, and gave us samples & different ideas on what we could have but stay within our budget. The cake tasted absolutely delicious & everyone loved it! She does awesome & creative work also and we will definitely go there again in the future!

I couldn't imagine spending thousands of dollars on a cake, and luckily we didn't have to. The prices were so so reasonable, and the cake was really truly magically delicious. The frosting! Oh my goodness. Lots of flavors of cake and frosting to choose from, all delicious. We did a few tastings, but knew right away this was the perfect one for us. Professional and prompt delivery, too. Can't wait to get a one year anniversary cake!

Okay, let's talk about the cake. Jill's Cake Creations is THE authority on cake in the Santa Clarita Valley. Jill has been doing cakes for like, 20 years or something ridiculous like that. One of her cakes is included in the package at Kelly's Wedding Garden. I expected nothing but the best from this vendor. Up until the moment I cut into the cake, I was in love with it. Going cake tasting was one of our favorite moments of the planning process and we decided to go with the banana walnut cake with banana creme filling. I was so looking forward to surprising our guests with a tasty, fall-approriate flavor. The cake was beautiful and exactly what we ordered on the outside. To our dismay, when we cut into the cake, we discovered our cake was chocolate with chocolate creme. Not what we ordered. At this point, there was nothing we could do except keep cutting the cake and serve it. We later discovered that our cake was mixed up with the wedding cake for the people who were in our venue the night before! We had ordered cakes in the exact same size, but different flavors. Apparently, some sort of mix-up occured over at Jill's and the two cakes got frosted and they sent our cake to the reception on Friday night, and we got their cake. Now, I understand that mistakes happen, but I think I should have been informed on Friday night that the people before us probably got our cake and we should be expecting a different cake. If the venue knew about the mix-up, they should have informed us. Their only response was they could bake us a new top tier of our cake in the flavor we orginally chose at no charge since the cost of the cake was covered in the cost of the venue and has already been paid in full. The cake was still beautiful and delicious, just not what we orderd. It's unfortunate that this had to happen not only to us, but the poor couple the night before. Blah.

I first met with Jill about a year before the wedding and it was a great experience. She was so friendly and sat down with me to sketch out the cake I wanted (I brought pictures to show her) and go over everything. The cake we chose was a 4 tier ivory buttercream cake with piped lines on the three tiers and gum paste roses around the base of each tier. The cake was also cut to where the tiers were narrower, but taller, which gave it a very neat look. The venue that we went with covered the cost of a basic cake, so the only charge we had was for the additional decorations (i.e. gum paste roses). Jill wrote us an invoice during this consultation with what was owed for these additional decorations that were not covered by the venue. We did our tasting and that went well too. She was very accommodating with me and very patient in explaining what the cake would look like, etc. After meeting with Jill during this first consultation, I was so excited to see my cake!

I met with Jill right before the wedding to pay the final balance. We didn't have as many guests as anticipated, so we got rid of one of the tiers, making it a 3 tier cake. I brought my invoice with me since when my sister met with her earlier this year to pay off my bridal shower cake, they had lost it. She found the invoice and I asked her what the new total would be since I took a tier off, therefore removing many of the expensive gum paste roses. She did some calculations and then told me that I owed more than I did when it was a 4 tier cake. I asked her why the price didn't go down given the removal of the roses and she said that it did go down. Jill then told me that I owed more than what it said on my invoice and what she told me during our first consultation. I told her that didn't sound right to me and that I owed $x.xx as per the invoice. The invoice was a carbon copy that had seen better days and she told me that couldn't be right (even though it clearly said that and that is what she told me verbally when I met with her the first time). She did some calculations and kept telling me that the cake really should have cost more and she doesn't know what she was thinking when she wrote up the invoice. When she finished the calculations, she came up with a different amount that was less than the 4 tier cake cost, so I just went with it. At this point, it was just exhausting. We paid the final balance and when we were about to walk out the door, Jill told me that the cake would not look exactly like it did in the picture. I asked her what she meant and she said the flowers would not go all the way to the end of the tier as they did in the picture. I was in that "let it roll off of your shoulder" frame of mind at that point and felt as though it would be a beautiful cake regardless, so I went with it. I just found it odd that she waited to talk to me about this until I'm literally walking out the door. I was just disappointed in this meeting because Jill had a totally different attitude than she did in the previous meeting.

When our wedding day arrived, I couldn't wait to see the cake. The flowers were all set up and were absolutely perfect and things were all coming together. I was taking pictures with my photographer and I glanced at the cake table and there was this small, puny looking cake sitting there. It was an instant feeling of disappointment, but at that point, there was nothing that could be done. The actual cake was the right shade of ivory, but the leaves were a terrible mint green that went with nothing in the wedding and the roses were gray. The tiers were not narrower and tall, but instead short and wide. It looked nothing like the picture I sent her (and the cake was really a very simple cake). Upon closer inspection, I could see that the gum paste flowers had been purchased. You can literally purchase identical ones from Wilton. All they had done was add luster dust to them, which made them gray. This was very upsetting to me, as we paid a few hundred dollars extra for those roses and they were purchased (rather than handmade, which is what was promised). The cake was just not at all what I wanted and was by far the most disappointing aspect of my wedding. Unfortunately, the only good thing I have to say about my wedding cake experience with Jill's Cake Creations is that they got the right wedding cake flavors.

We worked with Jills Cake Creations on the Castillo Wedding in Toluca Lake. She did an absolute wonderful job on bringing together the desires of our Bride Marinelli Castillo.

I have been working weddings for a long time and when it came time for my wedding, I knew that there was only one place to go for my cake! When all was said and done at my wedding, people are still talking about the cake! It is that way with every wedding that I work at as well that uses Jill's Cake Creations!

The staff at Hyatt Regency Valencia, always loves working with Jill's Cake Creations on our functions! With their bakery so close to the Hotel, they are always punctual. They are very creative, with amazing designs! There quality is unbeatable, not to mention everything they bake, tastes wonderfully!!
