Makeup by Jillyan/Skin Bar & Paint Studio

I got Jill's information on The Knot and had a trial with her in April, for my friend's wedding. What I can say, without a doubt, is that Jillyan is talented and her makeup is beautiful. However, her service was terrible.When I had my trial in April, I booked makeup and hair, so I could test both. Jill cancelled my hair appointment at the last minute (the week of the wedding I was in) because she double booked. She did offer me a complimentary hair trial for my inconvenience, and I was impressed by her customer service, so I booked her for my wedding.I had my wedding hair and makeup trial two weeks before my wedding. I wanted to wait because it was the day of my bachelorette pary and I wanted to see how the hair/makeup would stand up over the night. My makeup was fantastic, but my hair was horrible. Elizabeth, the stylist, seemed to not know what to do with my hair at all. I gave her pictures that she barely glanced at. I told her that I hate ringlets and wanted large loose curls. She curled my hair so tight it was up to my shoulders (from my lower back) and the back was completely lopsided. The bump on the top of my head was shaped like a cone. I wish I had taken a picture so that I could show how crazy it looked. I was also upset that the manicurist was trashtalking a couple of regular customers (saying one always came in eating and spitting all over her while she worked, raving about how gross she was, etc, while the other employees tried to guess--by name--who it was). I discussed my concerns with Jill and asked what she'd advise. I was prepared to work with another stylist or find my own hair service. She assured me she had another stylist, Jaime, who was more experienced and could do my wedding. I agreed to use her, since it was so close to the date. On the Wednesday before my wedding, Jillyan sent me a few confused emails asking if I was using Elizabeth or not. I called her and went over everything with her since she seemed confused. It seemed Jill had everything in order, although her confusion was a little nerve-wracking.On the day before my wedding, she sent me an email stating that she'd be there between 10 and 10:15. At 10:20, she still wasn't there and I hadn't received a call, so I began calling her. I had to call 8 times before she responded--through text-- that her car broke down and her husband was coming to give her a jump. I was worried that she wouldn't arrive in time to get everything done and I was especially upset that she didn't call and would only respond through text. While I understand how chaotic and stressful car troubles can be, I think she should have maintained better customer service. After all, I've been in car accidents and managed to call into my job and alert them immediately, so I couldn't understand why she wouldn't have someone call me and let me know what the situation was.Jill also assured me her assistant was at the hotel and would be up to do hair prep, so everything would move quickly. The assistant didn't show up and the hotel had people combing the restaurant, lounge and outside looking for her. She ended up showing up after Jillyan and Jaime, who were almost an hour and a half late (they arrived at about 11:20). She had no explanation for where she was and even Jillyan said that she has no idea what happened there.Jillyan did not say anything upon entering the room except quickly muttering "sorry" and running to the window to set up. She did not say anything to me about what happened, discuss the matter with me, or put me at ease at all. Instead, she acted like she was annoyed that I was upset and worried about the tight time frame. In addition, my MOH heard her and Jaime use profanity while whispering (one curse that seemed they were talking about us) and my mother, who was coming out of her hotel room as Jillyan walked past, heard her complaining about me and the girls. It was very unprofessional and upsetting.Jill's pricing was all over the map. She quoted one price for short hair, but charged my MOH the same price as my cousin, who has hair down to her waist. She randomly charged my mother $50, who's hair was the same length as my MOH's, although she quoted short hair at $45. It was very random and confusing.We were an hour behind schedule when we were finally done (thank God I added in extra time to my planning time frame). We were late to the church (we were supposed to be there earlier for pictures) and we incurred an extra $100 charge for going over our time with the limo, because the Mass had to start late. We also missed some getting-ready shots in the room because I had to rush out and we lost a lot of daylight for pictures after the Mass because we started late. It was very frustrating and the worst possible start to my day.I emailed Jillyan to discuss my concerns. My email was calm and to the point (I can PM it, if you're curious). In it, I also added that I was surprised that Jill did not apologize to me or discuss the situation with me and also that she still charged me full price for my services, although she was so late. As I explained to her, I had no problem paying for the services (in fact, at $300 I thought she was one of the most reasonably priced traveling MUA's out there, especially after hearing from others). However, I come from a business family and if there's one thing I know, it's that a business owner needs to make sure the client is happy and work to ensure that all wrongs are righted, however they may choose to do that. Jillyan did not even attempt to talk to me personally or make up her poor service at all.The worst part of my experience was my follow-up conversation with Jillyan. She called me back to respond to my email and left a long message during which she told me that my MOH was rude and wouldn't let Jill talk to me (I was in the same room and suite the entire time, so I'm not sure how that was possible). She also claimed my MOH kept "bumping into her," which didn't happen except by mistake. There were ten people in the suite, including photographers who kept moving, so a little bumping kept happening to everyone. She also claimed that I wanted everything for free, saying that I already received a free hair trial (which she freely offered to me at no prompting from me--I have her emails saved) and should basically be happy with that. She pretty much took no responsibility for anything that happened and also claimed to have been in an accident both on the way to the hotel AND leaving from the hotel. Perhaps it was the truth, but two accidents in a four hour period (with no damage to the car when it was driving into the hotel parking lot) seemed a bit questionable.I'd read some mixed reviews about Jill on TK and now I know why. She cancels at the last minute, double books appointments, and seems frazzled by basic management situations. All in all, my makeup was fantastic and I can say nothing bad at all about her skills--she does an amazing job. My hair was okay, and the curls ended up falling before the Mass was even over due to the stylist working so quickly on my hair in order to make up time. However, for the stress she put me, my girls, and my groom through, it was not worth the cheap price at all. I ended up being so nervous I was shaking on the way to the church and I had the worst experience ever getting ready. If you want a professional MUA who will be in contact with you and you don't want the stress of searching for your MUA when she doesn't show up on time, I'd definitely avoid Jillyan. She caused unnecessary stress on my wedding day and I'd hate for that to happen to another bride.

Jillyan was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding. She did the make-up, mostly airbrush and some traditional, for myself and 7 others. She arrived early and everyone looked beautiful. Her friendly and relaxed personality definitely makes her an asset on the wedding day! Definitely recommended!

For my wedding I had my makeup and hair done by Jillian and Elizabeth for my wedding. My makeup came out awesome I looked very natural not overdone and it lasted for hours. Elizabeth came to my hotel the day of the wedding and did not only my hair but the hair for 8 other people. All of our hair lasted throughout the day and it looked fantastic. We each chose a style and everyone was done and out the door on time. I would 100% recommend Jillyan/ Skin Bar & Paint Studio to anyone I know that would need their services.

Jillyan provided airbrush makeup for myself, my mother, my mother-in-law, and two of my bridesmaids. She did our makeup on location an hour away from her studio, yet she was on time and everyone's makeup was perfect a half hour ahead of schedule. Our makeup was stunning - natural but with a glamorous edge. Perfect for my Saturday evening wedding! I would recommend Jillyan not only because she is an extremely talented makeup artist, but also because she is kind, friendly, and easy to work with. She made all of us feel comfortable, which is not an easy task when you're messing with peoples' faces!

Jillyan/Skin Bar & Paint Studio was the BEST! We had the make up done by Jillyan and hair by Jaimie. They were great! Everyone remarked how good we looked when they saw us. Make-up stayed on all night long...The bridesmaids and brides hair stayed in place all night long!! I would recommend them for any wedding party or big event to use them! They were very professional, but I felt like I knew them my whole life! As far as the cost...I think for the work that went into their day with our large wedding party and traveling to where we were....we were charged so much less then I would have ever imagined! I have only great things to say about Jill- all of the ladies of my family looked stunning! Jill came early, did everyone's makeup quickly and we looked spectacular. Even after some happy tears, hot humid weather and an entire night of dancing I (the bride) still looked great. As somebody who doesn't wear alot of makeup, Jill really made me look like a better version of myself for the big day- I can't thank her enough.

Skin Bar & Paint Studio provided both hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party and did an amazing job. The ladies were both extremely personable and professional and comfortably fit right into the happiness of the day. Everyone's hair and makeup fit their individual styles and remained throughout the night. I couldn't have ask for a better team! Thanks ladies!

Jillyan of Skin Bar & Paint Studio provided the makeup for 6 bridesmaids, my mother and me on the day of the wedding. She was absolutely amazing! Not only did she do a fabulous job on everyone's makeup, she is extremely freindly and professional. The makeup lasted through the night and each girl got the look they were going for. I would HIGHLY recommend Jillyan and Skin Bar & Paint Studio!

Jillyan and her team at Skin Bar and Paint were great. Everyone was very pleased with their hair and makeup. As the bride I felt confident and beautiful thanks to Jillyan's skills and professionalism. Makeup looked great even in the late night photos. Used this vendor for Hair at my wedding. Jaime was beyond amazing. First of all, after I was unhappy with the outcome of my first trial, she did another one for me completely free of charge at my convenience. Day of the wedding, she arrived early, did each of my bridesmaids quickly and beautifully, and everyone was so happy with their hair. I actually decided on something a little different than we had done at any of the trials and Jaime executed it even better than I possibly imagined. She was also so calming and sweet all day and was just a pleasure to be around. Jaime was one of the most amazing vendors and also people I have ever come across.

I used Skin Bar Paint for my wedding this August. Jillyan did makeup for myself, my four bridesmaids, as well as my mother and mother-in-law. Everyone was extremely pleased with how their make-up came out! Jillyan listened to everyone's vision and did an awesome job! For the New York area this is a great value and you'll be very happy with how you look! :)

First of all, it is awesome that they come to you and you do not have to guarantee a certain number of other girls. Although once people saw how awesome I looked, they ended up doing it too! The morning of my wedding I woke up to an email saying Jillyan had a health emergency and couldn't make it, but she was sending someone to do my makeup. Michelle ended up doing our make up and she did an AWESOME job!! I loved my make up, it wasn't TOO much, ( I wanted to look like myself) but I felt glamorous. Jaime was great with our hair, too, she did a bunch of us in plenty of time, and everyone loved it. My hair was just what I wanted. She even ended up gelling up my little nephew's hair. These girls are great, super talented and nice, I felt like I was just hanging out with my friends!

Jillyan and Elizabeth came onsite to do hair/makeup for my large bridal party. They were wonderful! Everyone had a great time and looked BEAUTIFUL! Some of my girls were only planning to have their hair or makeup done...but, once everyone saw how great everyone else looked, they all ended up getting both hair AND makeup done! All my girls were so impressed and looked amazing (as did I!). Jillyan and Elizabeth were also flexible with what some of the girls had to spend...and were able to accomodate different prices for certain services. Overall everything went off without a hitch and was better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much ladies!

Jillyan was fantastic!! She was my primary contact and she continuously put me at ease. Michelle was wonderful as well! I also used Jillyan's hair stylist too and she was fantastic. I highly recommend Jillyan and her entire team. The were professional, helpful, kind and definitely affordable compared to many hair and makeup people I have worked with for friend's weddings!

Jill – soooo accommodating and great to work with! I called her last minute to add not only more girls getting their hair and makeup, but a 2nd location 15 minutes away! Jill was completely calm and professional about the situation and assured me we would be covered without a single hitch. Jill and her team, one other makeup artist and a total of three hair stylists were at my house starting at 8 am until 1pm – two hours until the ceremony start time. It was completely smooth and a great way to start the day! We had 12 girls at my house and then another 3 at the second location. Everyone came out looking great and with tons of time to spare! Jill did a great range of very natural to dramatic on all the girls, depending on their preference. Her assistant did a great job as well at making everyone look gorgeous! I don’t have one negative thing to say about my experience with Jill – she was amazing during trial and the time leading up to the wedding! Great great great team to work with and sooo amazingly fair priced – Loved they were all a part of the day!!!

Originally both Jillyan and Michelle were booked to do our makeup on my wedding. At 3am the night of my wedding I received an email from jillyans husband that she would not be able to make it due to illness. Good thing I wasn't able to sleep or I wouldnt have checked my email and would have been surprised when michelle showed up alone. I was nervous we wouldn’t be able to get everyone done with just one person since we booked two due to my timeframe. Michelle did a great job and got everyone beautiful and done early. This was good since she told me she had a timeline and needed to leave at a time earlier then I had discussed with jillyan. I would just make sure you discuss backup plans before booking. I had some special needs and never met Michelle before the wedding day. She did a wonderful job thank goodness but I would recommend meeting jillyans backup prior to the wedding since I know a few people who she was unable to be there for on their wedding day due to emergencies, which can happen, so its good to just be prepared. Overall everyone looked beautiful & was done on time!

I loved working with Jillyan! From the start, she was sweet, flexible and so good at what she does. She was able to provide me with exactly what I was looking for and I got so many compliments on my makeup at my wedding. She is also very reasonable (and fun). I highly recommend her!

I found skin bar and paint through a friend of mine who had used them for her wedding, and they did not disappoint! Jill and Jaime came to our hotel on NYC at 7 a.m. in the morning and did our hair and makeup. They were a pleasure to work with, up-beat (which you need that early in the morning!) and did a fantastic job. Jill uses airbrushing, false eyelashes and did all our makeup without us looking too made up or fake. They were on time, completely professional, and lots of fun!I went for a trial in NJ as well which I highly recommendThey are not cheap...but well worth the price!

I had my first and only makeup trial with Jillyan because I was so impressed with her professionalism and skill. She is extremely personable and really listened to my suggestions. Plus, the price was very reasonable. On the day of my wedding, Jill and Michelle did a wonderful job on myself, my 4 bridesmaids, and mom. Everyone looked gorgeous, and my makeup stayed put all night. I would highly recommend her services and would definitely use her again for any special occasion!

Jill and her team are fantastic. I actually had Michelle, from her team do our makeup for our wedding. We were all please with our makeup and it lasted throughout the night just great! I would reccomend using Jill and/or her team for wedding day makeup.

If you are looking for a great experience with makeup for your wedding or any occassion this is the person you want. Jillyan was a pleasure to work with so up beat and sweet, she was professional, prompt, prices are reasonable and our makeup lasted all day the only touch up we needed was some lipstick after the dinner. GREAT experience!! I used Skin Bar & Paint Studio for my wedding in April 2011 and we had the perfect experience with them. Jillyan and her team are wonderful people. Not only are they very talented, but they're affordable, down to earth and very fun to work with! It doesn't get better than that.Everyone complimented how gorgeous the bridal party looked. From the fresh and natural make up done by Jillyan to the gorgeous hair done by Jaime, we heard nothing but wonderful things all night long. Jillyan was AWESOME. She came to the hotel bright and early and right on time for when she said she'd be there. She arrived armed with all of her tools and a smile. Jill did makeup for me, my mom, and 5 of my bridesmaids. The makeup itself looked flawless! Jillyan listened to each and every one of us when we told her what we wanted and then did exactly what we asked. My trial was great, as well - she answered all the questions I had and was very flexible with scheduling. I still can't believe she was available for my day bc I waited til the last minute to book her (don't put yourself through this!!!! BOOK EVERYTHING EARLY). Jill was fun, personable, and super professional - a true find. Can't wait to see my professional photos...I know that my makeup will look awesome! Jillyan is awesome! She is high energy and a talented make-up artist. I don't usually wear much make-up but I knew I needed some for my wedding day. When I went for my trial with Jill, I told her I wanted to look natual, and she exceeded my expectations. She did a great job - even my fiance (now husband) loved the make-up and he prefers me without any make-up. I looked beautiful on my wedding day. Jillyan came to the hotel, with one of her girls who does hair, and they two of them were a great team. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous!! I can't wait to use Jillyan and Elizabeth again - they were great!

They were great! Jillyan made me and my bridesmaid look absolutely gorgeous along with her stylist who was as good as she was! They were early, efficient, friendly, and at a reasonable cost! My photographer even commented on how great my makeup was while taking close-up shots!My mom had never had her makeup done and last minute she let Jillyan do it and she looked amazing! Jill did an AMAZING job and I truly appreciate her talent that made me look spectacular on my wedding day! I opted for a more natural look and everything just "popped" perfectly. Jillyan is simply amazing. She was one of my favorite vendors to work with on and before my wedding day (March 2010). She is beyond professional and will make you feel so comfortable. After having a trial with Jillyan I knew that on the day of my wedding, even if I had changed what look I wanted, I was going to look beautiful. Everyone in my wedding party looked flawless and our makeup stayed that way all night long. Jillyan is easy to work with, will give you her honest opinion and will help you make your wedding day everything you have always dreamed of! There is no question that if you want a makeup artist that is professional, experienced, honest, upbeat....I could go on and on....you need to use Jillyan!!!! Love her and her studio! My sister is using Jillyan for her January wedding and I cannot wait to get my makeup done again by her!

Jillyan was wonderful to work with -- she did makeup for me and 3 others in my bridal party. I did a lot of checking around on pricing, and she was the most affordable on-location makeup artist I found who does airbrush makeup. I was extremely happy with the trial that she did, but her work on the wedding day was even better somehow! She did a great job of creating exactly the "natural" look I wanted. Her airbrush makeup lasted all day, and she also gave me a tube of the lip gloss she used for touch-ups throughout the day. She also responds quickly to emails.

Jillyan was amazing! She came out to my parents house the morning of my wedding and took care of everything. I felt absolutely gorgeous, yet like myself too. My make-up looked amazing in my pictures and stayed all night. She was so easy to work with and very responsive to emails. I event went for a trial in her studio the afternoon my engagement pictures were to be taken before booking her. Very talented make-up artist.

Jill takes pride in her work. She enjoys what she does and will go above and beyond to ensure her customers are 100% satisfied.

Jillyan was recommended to me by a friend who had used her for a party. I am not someone who knows anything about make-up, I don't normally wear it. When I meet with Jillyan, I told her I wanted something natural, but bold. When I came home from my trail, I felt so beautiful and I could not stop glowing, I was VERY happy! When the day of my wedding came I was so excited!! My make up was wonderful and I was so happy! It looked amazing with all the picture that we took and I could not have been happier. I was so glad that Jillyan was willing to travel to my house of the day of, and I didn't have anything to worry about! If I ever need my make-up done again I would not think twice about going to Jillyan!

Jill was awesome. She made me look radiant on my wedding day. My makeup stayed on the whole night. All I had to do was touch up my lip gloss, which Jill had provided me. My girls looked fabulous as well. I would definitely use Jill again for another event.

Jillyan was amazing! I don't wear a lot of makeup everyday so when it came to my wedding makeup I wanted it to look natural and I wanted to have airbrush makeup. I did a trial on the same day as my Bachelorette party to see how it would stand up throughout the night. It lasted so long I had to scrub it off at the end of the night. The day of the wedding she did a beautiful, beautiful job! My photographer said she never saw such a great job, she booked Jillyan for her own wedding! The makeup lasted all night and looked fantastic through the last picture.

I used Jillyan for my bridal and bridal party makeup this past June, and I cannot stress enough how amazing she was! I interviewed a lot of people over the phone and she was just so friendly and honest from the start. In person she was just as wonderful and so so talented! She used high-end makeup and gave us all eyelashes for free (AMAZING)

My entire bridal party looked so gorgeous, and my mother and sister looked so beautiful I had tears in my eyes. My makeup came out better than I even expected.

DEFINITELY use Jillyan for your wedding if she isn't booked already, she'll reserve the WHOLE day for you and she is so cool to work with :)

Great. I just want to tell everyone, that Jillyan is very reasonable. I found her through my friend that got married in NJ. Jillyan traveled to Long Island for my wedding. She was on time and was awesome. Jillyan uses MAC makeup and does airbrushing.
The bride was 150 and my girls were 65. I highly recommend!

Jillyan was tremendously personable and professional. She was on-time and took very good care of myself and my bridal party. She was highly knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted. She gave me a very natural look that I was very pleased with. I cannot recommend Jillyan enough. She was one of my favorite vendors and my day would not have been complete without her!

I absolutely loved working with Jill for my wedding day makeup. She spent at least an hour with me during my trial and answered every question I had about styles of makeup. My first attempt included airbrushed foundation and smokey eyes. An hour after coming home, I hated it! Jill, of couse, knew that I would but let me try it anyone. She came to my rescue and created a look much more in line with my style. Her prices were very reasonable for both me and my bridesmaids. I even had a facial before the wedding to calm and moisturize my skin - perfection! Thanks again, Jill!

Working with Jillyan was an absolute joy! From my initial trial to her follow-up after the wedding, the care and clear passion she has for her work made me feel completely at ease.Prior to the wedding Jillyan followed-up with me a number of times to ensure she had all the information she needed (from the look I was going for to the time and location for makeup application) and was very flexible given that I didn't know until the day of the wedding how many individuals would be needing makeup. On the day of the wedding, Jillyan arrived at our bridal suite ready to work around our schedules and "rolled with the punches" as the bridal party flipped back and forth between hair and makeup. Going into the big day I was certain that some of the blemishes on my face were going to be visible as I was walking down the aisle. After Jillyan finished my makeup, I looked in the mirror and was extremely happy and surprised that my face looked just perfect. Not only had the makeup covered everything, but she had achieved the soft look I was hoping for. My makeup lasted the entire evening – through the heat of our outdoor ceremony and a full face of vanilla cake (courtesy of my loving husband).Jillyan's ability to work with a variety of ages and skin types was wonderful. From my 50-year-old mother to my 12 year-old sister (and even my husband), Jillyan was able to provide age and personality appropriate perfection. I would highly recommend her services to family, friends and complete strangers!

Jillyan is amazing! She’s a complete sweetheart and did an amazing job on myself and two bridesmaids. She even gives you a lipstick for you to wear during the wedding AND she did a bit of makeup on DH for free! She has one of the best prices I could find in Northern NJ. She is super flexible (I changed my start time like 5 times!) and she responds super quickly. She also travels with no minimum, which is a huge plus!I highly recommend her.

Jillyan is the best of the best!!! The first time I met Jillyan was my wedding day. She made it really accommodating for me by coming to my house on my special day. I was running around doing hair and prep, and she made it so stress free! I am not too much of a daily makeup girl so I asked her to do what she thought would be best. I could not be HAPPIER with the results! She gave me the final beautiful touches to look like a true Barbie doll. All night the make up held, and everyone raved on how gorgeous I looked. In every one of my pictures I photographed amazing!! Her work is worth every penny and more!
I also used Jillyan for my brother in law's wedding, and yet again she out did herself! People were telling me I looked better than the bride. She does amazing work and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

I do not remember how much I paid for my bridal makeup, but it was totally worth the price. My makeup stayed on perfectly allll day, I looked amazing in my wedding photos. Jillyan also supplied a sample lip gloss to keep my lips fresh all day. She also did my mother's makeup for my wedding and my mother looked gorgeous with all the right colors. Jillyan works with you and your colors or if you want suggestions she will suggest colors for you. I HIGHLY recommend Jillyan for your wedding.

I'm a recent bride(client) of Jillyan Scarpa and I must tell you that I'm very pleased with her quality of work. She is wonderful! I first met Jillyan when she did my makeup for my cousin's wedding about 2 years ago. I've been using her services ever since then - not only is Jillyan a terrific makeup artist, but a great person, overall! She has a tremendous amount of experience, is friendly, encouraging, and so easy to work with. I've gotten my makeup done by her for various special occasions such as other weddings, my engagement photo session, rehearsal dinner, and I even tried airbrush tanning with her for the very first time! I've been very happy with the results so I am sure I will be using Jillyan's services again even after my wedding...



I had a 2-year engagement, which gave me plenty of time to find someone I was comfortable with to do my makeup on my special day. It was actually a big concern for me because I'm not a big makeup person (practically clueless) and I didn't want to look too made up or just unnatural. I still wanted to look like "me". Jillyan took the time to listen to me, to what I wanted, and worked WITH me to get the look I was going for. She made me feel comfortable in my own skin and made the whole process fun and memorable. I highly recommend Jillyan's services - I'm confident she can help any bride achieve their special look. I'm so happy I found a makeup artist for life and developed a new friendship as well. :-)

Jillyan is the BEST! It's like inviting your friend over to do your make-up. She is very professional and a real down to earth person. She handles the chaos around her with ease and is always on time. She works around your schedule and makes sure every girl is accounted for. Her prices are very reasonable too! I had eight girls for her the day of my wedding. She did an amazing job for me and my bridal party as well as my sister’s, my cousin’s, and two other friends of the family’s wedding parties. Every one of my bridesmaids looked fabulous and my make-up was beautiful. She is very flexible you can tell her exactly what you want to be done or let her come up with what she thinks is right for you. You never look over done, it doesn’t even feel like you have make-up on, and it lasts the whole night through. I danced my butt off at my wedding and my make-up looked just as great at the end of the night as it did at the beginning. I have unedited pictures to prove it! Jillyan truly is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Skin Bar & Paint Studio. She has made dozens of my family and friends look fabulous time and time again.

Best make-up artist! Went for a trial and did exactly as I asked. On the day of my wedding she was on time, professional and prepared. I loved her work that I still continue to recommend her to everyone I know.

I absolutely love Jillyan. When I first met her during my makeup trial I was very pleased. She made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing job. I hired her that day. She provided make up for myself, my Maid of Honor, 2 of my brides maids, my mom and the grooms mom and one of my cousins. She came to us and was there for as long as we needed her. She did an amazing job. I also went to her a couple of weeks before the ceremony for a facial and back facial. Both were amazing. I definetely recoomend them to relieve any stress you may have before the wedding. She offers other services at her shop also. I actually just went back yesterday to have my makeup done for an event I had to go to. It was like seeing an old friend. She is always so pleasnt and friendly.

I picked Jill because she used make-up that I liked and she would travel to any location. She was a little pricey, but she was worth every penny. The month before the wedding I was really stressed and my skin was showing that. But she used an airbrush make-up and it covered everything and looked great and flawless. She is super nice and I would recommend her to everyone!

I found Jillyan though recommendations on The Knot. I had a trial with her and another makeup artist and Jillyan's technic blew the other girl out the water. It was stunning. The day of the wedding Jillyan had such an upbeat personality and everyone was so happy with their makeup. I am planning to go to Jillyan to do my makeup for my cousin's wedding in Sept.

Jillyan was great. I found her from my sister, who used her for many other weddings and special occasions. She is really quick and doesn't make you look heavy, and all made up, just perfect and totally natural! She was a pleasure to work with and I will be using her again. I had 2 other trials before finding Jillyan and immediately after my trial I knew she was perfect! She is a MAC makeup artist who travels to you the day of. She listened to all of my requests about how my makeup was done, and my makeup lasted all day long. Plus, her prices are very reasonable as compared to other makeup artists who travel to you, and she doesn’t have a minimum number of people.

Jillyan is truely the BEST!!!! Found her through a friend at work. Make-up artist for me has always been a nightmare. I am not one much to wear make-up and was nervous when I booked my trial. But she put all my fears to rest. On my big day (5/19/07)EVERYONE'S makeup came out awesome! Even the apprehensive bridesmaids were pleased!... Make-up was very natural and light. You cannot go wrong! Believe me that's ONE thing on your day that you will never have to worry about!!

Jill is awesome! She listens to what you want and don't want and doesn't just make everyone's make-up look the same. My make-up was fabulous and it lasted all day long. I didn't look like I had a ton of make-up on. I can't say enough good things about her, she really is wonderful and I highly recommend her.

Jillyan was one of the greatest parts of my wedding day! She did an amazing job with the makeup for my entire bridal party. I told her exactly what I had in mind for my makeup, and she worked her magic. I have had my makeup done by other professionals, and they can't hold a candle to Jillyan's work.
