Jimmy J was such a great DJ. Through out the planning he was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. I wokred 3 jobs before the wedding and had a very tough schedule to work with and he was able to meet with us anytime that worked for us. He responded to emails in a timely manor, and if his hands were a bit tied with a up coming wedding he would let us know when to expect to hear from him, and at that we heard from him when he said. Come the day of the wedding he was on time, set up and ready to get the party started. He was the ONLY vendor that gave his "congrats" after the ceremony. Songs flowed smoothly, he kept the party going. At one point we fell behind schedule (and what wedding doesnt) and a game was next on the agenda, Jimmy J came over to us and asked if we were ok with skipping the game or moving it to a new time to keep the flow of the night and help get us back on track. This small gesture to ask how we wanted to handle the set back and get us back on time made me very happy. He cared to keep us on time but wanted to see our thoughts on the situation with out just jumping right in and doing what he felt was right. Jimmy J was a hit and I got so many compliments on how wonderful he was. I would refer him to any bride because he is not just a "you get what you pay for" DJ he is very resonable in price and goes above and beyond to make the special day so amazing.

Jimmy J DJ was amazing! He was very polite, professional, true to his word, and very easy to work with. James made our wedding go smoothly and he was able to coordinate many moving parts with ease. James took the time and effort to meet with us with recommendations that he was familiar with and respected our decisions without being pushy. James is a vendor that still puts the bride and groom first. Other vendors we spoke with made it sound like we were attending their (vendor) event. James made our night perfect and we would recommend him to everyone for any type of event!

Dj Jimmy J did an amazing job at my wedding. He got the crowd going and everyone had a great time. He was very professional and worked well with all my other vendors. he had great tools for me and my husband to use for picking out out music. we also had a meeting with him to establish a timeline and other things pertaining to the reception, although after the meeting I decided to change the timeline and order of grand entry to the reception. I emailed him about this change and was told it was no problem. yet, during my wedding he followed the old timeline and old grand entrance order. this confused my bridal party, especially the ones giving toast since I had given them the new timeline. with all that being said I would definitely recommended Dj Jimmy J, just make sure you have your timeline and everything planned out the way you want it during your final meeting with him.

Choosing to go with Jimmy J DJ Productions for our wedding was one of the best choices we made with respect to vendors. James is very passionate about music and made a wonderful MC. He really helped keep the party going at the reception. James even spent between four or five hours with us, prior to the event, helping us choosing music and hashing out the event timeline. If you want a worry and stress free reliable DJ then call Jimmy J DJ Productions. He was on time, professional and provides a party atmosphere. The lighting he provided was a great mood setter. The DJ got the party started. He had the guest actively participating in the music and everyone enjoyed themselves. He has a very outgoing personality and huge variety of music. I would highly recommend him as a DJ.

Jimmy J was everything we were looking for in a wedding DJ. When we first considered hiring him he took the time to meet with us, discuss prices and to go through his service contract so we would know exactly what we were getting before any promise of service was made. He took the time to get to know us and what we wanted out of our wedding. He even took the time to outline a schedule for the evening and to learn how to pronounce the names of all of the people in our bridal party, and they didn't have easy names.
At the beginning of the night he took the time to learn who the important people were so he could defer to them should my husband or I be unavailable. When our venue messed up our entire schedule for the evening, Jimmy J immediately had an alternate suggestion, which prevented our guests from knowing anything was wrong. He played all of the music we requested of him and even hunted down a song by a local band to play for us. Our guests loved that he played their requests and I love that he actually stuck to our do not play list. He was easy to work with and did everything we expected of him, and more.
With Jimmy J you will get a lot of bang for your buck without him pushing undesired services on you. If you are a bride looking for an affordable DJ who is easy to work with, Jimmy J is the one for you.

Was extremely professional and able to adjust when the timetables needed to change. Worked great with bartender and catering to make sure everyone was on the same page on events. We would hire him again for an event, our family and friends really enjoyed the event. Thank you again James.

From the beginning of collaborating our wedding it was a pleasure to work with Jimmy J. I love to have things very organized and in my control. I learned very quickly with all the things that come with a wedding, there's only so much I can control. That's why I'm glad for vendors like Jimmy J. He did an amazing job keeping everything together. There were a few hiccups during the day, (which goes without saying, nothing can go ABSOLUTELY perfect) but Jimmy did great at keeping things going smoothly. He also added in a few things of his own that were unexpected, but were perfect and made the crowd and us all laugh and have such a great time. Everyone had a blast, but I think my husband enjoyed the music the most. He was on the dance floor until the room was cleared out. We had a wonderful time no doubt. Thank you Jimmy J.

From the first time my husband and I met James at a bridal show he was warm, welcoming, friendly, and genuine. We felt comfortable with him immediately and the next day I emailed him to set up our first meeting. We had 3 meetings before the wedding and each time was an absolute pleasure. James never treated us like "just another wedding", we always felt that he was invested in our happiness and really "got" us and wanted to help make our day amazing. He was open to all of our suggestions and did everything he could to please us - got an obscure song request? He will find it for you. I needed a specific version of a song and we listened to about 5 versions and he never got impatient with me. I even said if we couldn't find it then I would settle for something else and he refused to let that happen, he made absolutely sure I had exactly what I wanted.
With James you will not have to worry about communication, his responsiveness is excellent. If he was not able to speak to me right away he would shoot me an email to let me know exactly when he would be getting back to me.
The wedding was AMAZING, DJ Jimmy J is the stuff of wedding legends. He was a great MC, helped the ceremony and reception timeline flow flawlessly, and got Every. Single. Person. out on the dance floor. Even my step-dad who I have never seen dance a day in his life was out there for a few songs! His timing is impeccable and he read our crowd so well - he also impressed us by playing a few brand new songs - including one that came out that day! People loved him and I give him so much credit for how fun our reception was, it would not have been the same without him.
I would absolutely recommend this DJ to anyone - you will not regret it. Oh, and as far as the value of his services - trust me, you won't beat his prices and that includes all the extras - laser show, lights, fog - you name it, he's got it, you'll love it. Hire this guy right now, you will not regret it!

We had an "unfortunate" situation occur a month before our wedding so we had special songs/dedications we wanted played during our ceremony & our reception. We had actually compiled our own "set list" & Jimmy J followed each & every request we had, ensuring all of our "special" songs were played at the exact time we agreed upon. Jimmy J was very professional when I met with him and offered recommendations for songs that we may be interested in for different times during the receptions.
