I first gave Jin Wang five stars on Yelp just after purchasing my dress there after visiting 11 bridal stores in SF. Not only did I find the perfect dress (finally!) but I tapped into a level of caring, knowledgable, customized service that only continued to exceed my expectations as I continued to have my dress fitted and finished by designer Jin Wang and her charming, professional staff. From the get-go they didn't push me into any decision making (what a change!) but put me in a relaxed state of mind where I felt could really imagine working with them to create my vision. I felt internally compelled to buy the dress the next day! (Had to have it!) Both my mother and fiance agreed that not only was the dress truly special but that I was in really good hands. This held true from start to finish. My work with Jin was the most enjoyable part of preparing for my wedding. From watching Jin pin every last detail at our fitting sessions while we laughed at her warm sense of humor, to her teaching me how to walk gracefully down the aisle and give me advice on how to wrap a handkerchief around my bouquet stem in case I cried . . . I can't imagine anyone more perfect to work with. I will tell you upfront that it is pricey, although I would have paid twice as much just to have had the same wonderful experience. She does carry sample gowns from previous collections at once-worn/sample sale/Glamor Closet prices but in much better condition because of how carefully the staff treats their gowns. I will say that I have no regrets paying "How much?!?!" for such a beautifully crafted dress (by Angel Sanchez, which she carries exclusively in SF) but more so for the patience, unwavering commitment and level of personalized service unlike anyone else in the business just selling you a gown. Service aside, this store carries the goods! Whether Jin's own designs speak to you or some of the other exclusive brands she sells, this is the store for the chic bride with a penchant for luxe fabrics, unique design details, figure flattering cuts and who needs custom attention outside a "standard size" dress. Just finding the dress style you like is half the battle. You must contend with making the dress fit YOU. You forgo the uncertainty of what will happen to any beautiful dress ordered in a standard size to be nipped and tucked in the hands of an unknown-to-you, potentially inexperienced "tailor" with personal guarantee from Jin Wang, a bonafide bridal gown designer that she'll do your fittings and that YOUR dress will fit YOU whether or not it's her design. It's peace of mind worth the price. Even my bustle was absolutely perfect - I looked like a mermaid. If fashion is an important part of your life and you can learn to budget accordingly, want a special experience and a gown that warms your heart, definitely come to Jin Wang to fulfill your dreams.

I loved working with Jin. From my first visit to the final fitting I had the privilege of working with Jin herself and she was fantastic. They were able to ship my dress out of state so I didn't have to worry about carrying it on a plane and come the wedding day it looked absolutely stunning.

I just recently ordered my dress from Jin Wang. She was my second stop after Bridal Galleria (which I was sure I wanted a Monique Lhuiller from). The consultants there dote on their brides, catering to every need and whim. It was the first place I went to that I felt like a real bride! Jin was there for both my trials and she was so sweet and attentive and detail oriented.My dress is an Angel Sanchez and we already have plans for personalization which was included in the price of the dress (June special). I feel like I am really getting a couture gown and her staff and showroom could not be more beautiful.

This was my second stop for wedding gown shopping (after Marina Morrison), and I received the most impeccable service from Caroline. I must have tried on about 10 dresses while I was here, and she was so attentive to not only me, but also to making sure my two guests were comfortable (e.g., offering water and tea). I absolutely loved my experience here. Such a warm, friendly environment. I am still early in my dress shopping, but I have a couple of favorites that I might return to. I had a question about customizing one of my favorites I tried on, and Jin Wang called me personally the very next day to answer my questions - how is that for top-notch service? I can't gush enough about Jin Wang and her beautiful salon. Any bride who wants to receive the ultimate bridal shopping experience should definitely make a stop here.
I had ordered my dress from Jin Wang and the bridal consultants there were so helpful in helping me selecting my wedding dress. I've always been a fan of Jin Wang so I was almost sure of what dress I wanted before going there! They had a few fittings to make sure the dress fit perfectly and really worked with me to keep me within my budget!!

Unfortunatley my dress wasn't complete when picked up. When I went for my last fitting there were two major adjustments that needed to be made. Upon pick-up (day before my wedding) these two things were supposed to be complete. I didn't know this at the time because it is their policy that you don't try the dress on when picking up (b/c of pressing). So when I went to put the dress on (day of wedding) it was too big around hip area and a major part of the dress was incomplete. My mom and hair stylist had to sew me into the dress. After spending 5K on this custom dress I was extremely dissapointed especially b/c you can see the unfinished part of the dress in my photos.

Excellent value, quality and overall experience. Getting a custom dress does away with the headaches and costs of alterations. My dress was beautiful and more importantly comfortable.
