DJ John Leon from JLEntertainment was awesome!! He had all of my guests up dancing all night long. He kept the whole pace of the night and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend him and I believe all of my guests would as well, I received a ton of compliments on my DJ's choice in music that was a great mix for all ages that attended.

We had a great time at our wedding and the DJ sets the tone. The process is super easy and you have a lot of access to your playlist and updating prior to you're date.

I'd like to commend John Leon and his fiancee, Becky, not only for their commendable performance at my wedding this past weekend but for the personable business they conduct.

During meetings with John to coordinate music/timing for the wedding, he was relaxed, offered entertaining and exciting suggestions (which we then implemented at the wedding), and made us feel like we were special. Above all, he treated us as if he was helping friends plan the most important day of their lives.

On our wedding day, John could not have been more excited for us and thrilled to be at our reception. His fiancee, Becky, also assisted him at the wedding. The two couldn't be more perfect for each other or for our wedding!

All night my husband (!!) and I heard a constant stream of compliments, but one compliment belongs solely to John and Becky: "everything is moving so smoothly and perfectly." We believe this particular compliment belongs to John and Becky, because they managed the event so well and so flawlessly that it was beyond our imaginations.

The best part? We felt comfortable and relaxed while working with them and they are incredibly cost effective.

I could not suggest a more talented, professional or affordable DJ for anyone's wedding.

John Leon from J.L. Entertainment supplied us with exceptional service for our New Year’s Eve wedding. We have been getting compliments on our DJ for over a week after our reception. We were told by multiple people that they haven’t seen that much dancing at a wedding in a long time. John kept that party going and the dance floor packed. We met with many DJ’s before deciding to go with J.L. Entertainment and it proved to be one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. His professionalism and personality were second to none. He mixed in our special requests along with his own knowledge of music to make the night better than we could have ever imagined! Every bride & groom is stressed that things will go badly at their wedding. I was SOO happy that not only did I not have to worry about the DJ screwing up but I was pleasantly surprised that she actually single-handedly made my wedding truly a night to remember. To start, the songs Becky picked were great. But, it was really her judgment of when to play them that really impressed me. It was perfect. She read the vibe in the room perfectly and kept the celebration going all night. She kept us dancing when we wanted to dance and literally when I looked around the room and everyone started to look tired (without me saying anything to her!) the very next song was a slow one to let us re-charge our batteries. PERFECT! Of course I was pleased but what really made me happy was that I heard the same line from so many of my guests, "Best wedding I've ever been to! The DJ was awesome!" I must have heard that over 100 times that night. Also, what made us really happy was that once the reception started Becky basically took over as wedding planner and kept us on schedule for all the things we needed to do during the reception. Honestly, future brides & grooms, you will find out that your wedding day happens so fast that you really need someone to help you keep on task so you don't fall behind schedule and also so you can try to find the time to enjoy your big day. Becky made most decisions without interrupting us and checked with us first when she really needed to. (but what was great is that she wasn't pushy when she was offering a suggestion or when she was trying to keep us on schedule) She was so sweet the whole time. There isn't one thing that happened that I wasn't happy with. I can't speak highly enough of my experience with J.L. Entertainment. Becky made our day perfect. I can never thank her enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

JL Entertainment went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Planning for the wedding with John was so easy, flexible and fun. He met with us until we were happy with the way our evening was planned and was also easily accessible via phone, txt or email. He has a booklet for planning as well as online planning with his whole music library. On our wedding day he and his partner were professionally dressed. He kept time of the reception and made sure we were aware of what time it was. He was able to make adjustments to our music to what he felt people were enjoying dancing too and everyone had a blast. We got so many compliments on our DJ's I know you would not be disappointed with JL Entertainment. Just to show you how above and beyond they went. He had a sewing kit for one of my bridesmaids ripped dressed from dancing and a nail file for my mother in laws chipped nail. He also did not have the song we wanted for the mother & son dance. He bought the CD and then gave it to us to give to my husband's mom after the wedding. You will have no regrets. Promise.

I cannot recommend this DJ enough. He is outstanding!! He kept the dance floor going all night. Not only did he include every song we wanted, his website was easy to use and was very up-to-date. Very prompt, professional and kind. You will NOT regret hiring J.L. Entertainment. He made my day!!

John and Marcus did our wedding last fall & they were great. Every event I've ever been at that was worked by JL Entertainment has been awesome, including our wedding. The entire staff is very professional & at the same time, they seem like your best friend. One of the best decisions i made for my wedding was choosing JL Entertainment for my DJ. John was great in guiding us through this whole process leading up to the wedding. During the reception it was nice to have someone that kept everything moving along for us so we could just sit back and enjoy our day. He knew what music to playand when to keep the dance floor busy all night long. People were talking about my DJ for weeks after the wedding. We highly recommend John Leon and JL Entertainment! Very professional, very talented, and very fun to work with! He DJed my brother's wedding in May 2010 and my husband and I were not disappointed with our decision to book him for our wedding!

We were looking for a DJ that could make sure the reception flowed smoothly and kept things moving. John totally understood our vision and made sure everything was taken care of! At the last minute my dad wanted to hire a guitarist to play during dinner and I was concerned that this would be a problem. John reassured me and coordinated with the musician to make sure the transitions were seamless.

John's fiance Becky DJed as well and she was great! They kept the party going for as long as we had guests dancing. We highly recommend JL Entertainment!

J.L. Entertainment is amazing! John, in particular, is such a caring, understanding and helpful person. He exceeded our expectations prior to the event as well as during the event. He made us feel at ease during the planning process and comfortable at our reception. He even cleaned icing up from the dance floor after our reception venue failed to do so. Of course, this was not his obligation however, it is a testament to his true character and we are so appreciative. John was also so considerate to our guests and bridal party. One of the main reasons I hired John is because he was the DJ at my sister’s wedding where I had to give a toast. I was so nervous to stand up in front of 150 people but, John made sure I was comfortable and gave me good advice. He was so nice to me. I never expected that from a person I just met. We might have been stressed about various things but, we never had doubts about our entertainment having J.L. Entertainment as our DJ. It was the perfect fit for our reception.

I would highly recommend J.L. Entertainment as a DJ for your wedding or local event. They were the DJ's at our wedding reception in May 2009. They were very flexible to meet with us, they were receptive and creative with our decisions. They were enthusiastic, entertaining and adaptable to get people out on the dance floor at the reception. They were professional and reliable. The equipment they used was impressive and of high quality. My experience with their company was very pleasant and I would definitely work with them again in the future!

John and his staff are incredible. They will do whatever it takes to make your day as memorable as possible, and exactly how you want it. They will make your wedding day your own by playing the music that best fits you and your guests. For our wedding, John not only acted as a DJ, but as a wedding coordinator, keeping the reception moving and on track. We recieved so many compliments following our wedding, and many of our friends have booked with J.L. Entertainment for their weddings.

Our wedding reception lasted until after midnight---many thanks to JL Entertainment for keeping the party going! The DJs were very professional and carefully selected music that blended with our requests.

John at JL Entertainment was a phenomenal pick from the start. At our first meeting, I felt we were in good hands - the consultation was no-pressure and honest, and especially after hearing about some other DJs in the area, I was positive that not only were we getting a great value but someone who'd take care of us. We were planning our wedding from halfway across the country and John kept us in the loop, made sure we had everything we needed, and was incredibly flexible with meeting us for a final consultation just days before our wedding. At the venue, his set up was professional, compact and had great sound. We also had John handle the emcee work and the whole evening flowed perfectly. He played all the songs we requested and even some from our friends; the dance floor was packed until the lights came on (all too soon...) We are so pleased with the unforgettable evening that came together thanks to JL Entertainment.

There extensive preperation prior to the wedding led to a playlist perfect for our event. On the day of the wedding they were both professional and friendly while interacting with our guests. The service they provided at my wedding was so exceptional that 2 serperate guests have already used J.L. Entertainment for their weddings and many other guests have plans to in the future. Top notch across the board, you will not be disappointed.

We're so glad we chose J.L. Entertainment for our wedding. We loved meeting with John and Becky to plan for our big day. They were flexible and gave us lots of great advice. Becky was the D.J. for our event, and we felt completely comfortable trusting her with the evening. The night went smoothly and we loved her engaging, but not overbearing, style. My husband and I planned our Pittsburgh wedding from NYC, so we didn't have a lot of time to meet with potential vendors. John was the DJ at a wedding that we had recently attended and he did a great job, so I decided to give him a call. Once I did, we ended up booking him without contacting anyone else. I loved how he was young and energetic, but responsible and professional all at the same time. He was more than flexible with working around our schedules, especially since we were only in Pittsburgh on certain weekends. We met several times to get to know each other. I loved that because I felt like I actually knew him and that he wasn’t some random person showing up to run our wedding reception. When we arrived at our reception John immediately came out to greet us and to make sure that we were all ready to go. My husband had makeup all over his tuxedo jacket from taking pictures and it was John to the rescue with a wet nap that took the make up right off. John really helped set the tone for the night and had everyone up dancing. We ended up extending the reception for another hour because people were having such a great time. I highly recommend John Leon and JL Entertainment!!!
