Welll I have read all of the reviews and I hate to say the EXACT same thing... But I KNEW Jen was going to be our photographer after sitting with her at a coffee shop for about...2 minutes. IF that. We had a REALLY hard time finding a photographer. We met with at least 4 and signed one contract with another photographer and she cancelled because she "forgot" she had another wedding that day. Jen was a breath or fresh air. Aside from her amazing skills behind the camera.... she is just an AMAZING person! We sat and talked for about an hour and went home immediately and told my fiance I found "The One!" Throughout the day of the wedding, Jen was fun and laughed with us and kept my LARGE bridal party under control for photos. Bottom line: I LOVE Jen and she will follow up through life: Maternity, baby and family photos!

I knew from the moment I met Jen that she would be the photographer for our wedding! She is so fun and energetic. I was so thrilled with our engagement pictures that I knew our actual wedding day photos would be amazing! When I saw our wedding pictures I was speechless! She really captured how much fun our wedding day was! I couldn't ask for a better photographer!

There's no other way to describe Jen and her work other than absolutely amazing! At our first meeting I knew she would be great to work with and she didn’t disappoint. From managing to make us look great in the 100+ degree heat for our engagement pics, to the 10-plus hours she spent shooting our wedding day, our pictures were better than we could have ever hoped for!

If I could give Jen a 10, I would in a heartbeat! From the first time I met with her, I knew Jen would be our photographer. Along with her warm and bubbly personality, I was super impressed with her portfolio. Jen has an incredible gift of capturing emotion in each shot that she takes. She is very comfortable to work with, too. All of my bridal party loved hanging out with her the day of the wedding. Sometimes we forgot she was taking photos because she was unobtrusive. From the engagement session to the final wedding photos, I knew we would have several photos to choose from! :)

I'm happy to call Jen my friend now! I cannot recommend her enough!

Jen Lowe is an amazing photographer and now a great friend. Unfortunately she did not photograph my wedding only because I did not find her until after I was married. She did however photograph both of my pregnancies, my daughter's newborn shoot, my son's newborn shoot, and my daughter's one year shoot. All photos are absolutely incredible. I love how she captures all of the different expressions that make my kids look like MY kids. She does not make you stand, pose, and smile like they do for school photos or in other chain photography studios. Instead she makes you feel totally comfortable and captures the moments that happen naturally. I love how she is patient with my kids and always gets so many great shots. I have seen her wedding photos on her website and I am so regretful that I didn't know her when I was getting married. I love how she captures the details...the rings, the invitations, the shoes and wedding dress hanging in anticipation for the bride to get ready, the place settings, etc. I love how she gets the candid shots that you didn't even know she was taking. Although I did not get the opportunity to use Jen Lowe for my wedding, I did recommend her to several other brides. Now that I have had the opportunity for Jen to give me the JLowe experience, I cannot see using another photographer to capture my most important memories!

Jen was absolutely amazing!!! Our engagement session with her was so much fun and the pictures turned out positively beautiful!! She was around the entire wedding day, from early morning preparations, right until the last song was played. I would recommend her, not only for a wedding, but for any occasion you are having photographed!! she is truly an artist and a great person to get along with as well!!

Jen Lowe was a fantastic photographer. First off, Jen is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She put Todd and I at ease on our first meeting and we knew we wanted her to be part of our big day. We felt like old friends after that meeting and couldn't wait to have our engagement session. Jen was great at the engagement session. It was easy and she got both myself and Todd to smile. We got a lot of terrific shots! The day of the wedding she showed up on time and totally fit in right away with my girls. Jen helped me so much that day and I really appreciate it. She worked with us to get a bunch of shots before the ceremony and we worked fast to take the rest of the formal shots so we could go to our cocktail hour. She was out on the dance floor with us clicking away...I can't wait to see those shots!! I love Jen's work and she is the easiest person to work with. I can't wait to work with her in the future.

Jen is truly an amazing photographer, and a huge asset to your wedding day team. We have received so many compliments from our wedding guests about Jen's work - not only does she create amazing photographs, she is also just about the nicest person you have ever met and really makes the day fun for you and your guests. We will treasure our photos forever, and I am so glad that we put our photography in Jen's hands. She is a photojournalist-style photographer, so we got tons of awesome candid shots from the reception - she is so good at capturing fun moments and great expressions on people's faces! My only regret is that we don't have more events coming up where we can use Jen. :-) Maybe a baby photo session if that day comes, one day! If you hire Jen, you will be so happy with her.

Jen Lowe was tied for favorite vendor for me. There really is no grade that does her justice because she is that fabulous. So the logistical stuff - she arrives on time, stays out of the way of the action, gets all of your "must have list" taken care of. She goes above and beyond for every one of her couples on their special day. My husband is really nervous about getting his picture taken - but upon our first meeting with Jen he left her home feeling as though he'd made a friend. When we shot our engagement session, he was laughing and chatting with her all day and almost "forgot" what was happening. I knew that in her hands, we would be fine on our wedding day!

Her work speaks for itself and is so creative (see her blog for her most recent work). What sets her apart is her attention to detail and her ability to capture so much EMOTION from the day. She cares just as much about all of the little details you drive yourself crazy to plan as you do. She loves taking your photo ideas and running with it. At the end of the night I thought it'd be cool to do a "busted down" shot of me with my shoes off, my husband's jacket on, him all untucked and disheveled, and she was all about it (after working her little butt off ALL DAY). I felt so comfortable with her that I could just be myself and not be stiff or nervous. She was the perfect addition to the day. And I couldn't be more happy with how my photos turned out!

Jen Lowe was by far my favorite vendor. She is the sweetest person and so talented. We did an engagement session with her, and from that moment I knew we had made the right decision. We are still waiting to see our pictures from the wedding but for our engagement session, she took over 200 pictures, and they were great. I would HIGHLY recommend Jen for anyone looking for a photographer for a wedding, engagement session, or just for family photography.

Jen was hands down one of our favorite vendors. From the moment we met her it was like we were talking to an old friend. Her work speaks for itself and I was so pleased with the beautiful pictures she took. We adore Jen and will definitely recommend her and will look for ways to work with her again in the future.

I only wish that I could give Jen ratings of 10 out of 5. She took the time to get to know both my husband and me before the wedding - the engagement shoot was a great idea (included in even the lowest package). She

Jen is absolutely incredible as a photographer and person. Doing the engagement session before the wedding was so much fun and my husband (who was originally not at all excited about it) had a great time because Jen is so down to earth and fun.
She was by far the best vendor at my wedding. We all had a great time with her doing the "formal" and "getting ready" pics and when it came to the ceremony and reception I was amazed at all the moments she captured because I didn't even see her. My friends still talk about her and I always recommend her to people for weddings, baby shoots, etc and everyone has loved her as much as I have.
We also did a Trash the Dress session which was a great time. Jen came up with so many original ideas and didn't just take pictures of my husband and I in the freezing cold water but got in herself to get more shots.
You really have to be comfortable to be the center of attention during a photo session and I think Jen can make anyone look great and have a lot of fun at the same time.
I can't say enough about how incredible it is to find someone so talented to capture so many fun/important moments who is now also a friend.

JEN IS FABULOUS. I have used her multiple times (engagement, wedding, maternity, infant, family) for various photo shoots. Each time she has been amazing. She is artistic and avoids posed photos unless you want them. She really captures the moment. I feel like Jen is one of my friends, and she makes a point of remembering things about me and my family and asking about them each time she sees me. We love her to death and will never use any other photographer. Her rates are on the cheaper end of what I found and the picture/experience quality is on the higher end.
