On the big day, everything did go smoothly and everyone loved the food. I wish I could give 5 stars for everything, and I wish I had a great experience like everyone else raves about. I have many different situations which were not right or should have been clearer with dealing with Jody's Pantry aka JPC Event Group.1. CONTRACT: Thankfully I was able to secure the price for all of the services provided; however, looking back now, I realized what is right and “not right”. When signing the contract and making a deposit with Jody’s Pantry aka JPC Even Group, there was no pricing structure outlined in the contract. Selecting your food menu and taste tasting your menu came after signing the contract. I printed out all of the menus and pricing from Jody’s Pantry’s old website before I contacted them. When we signed our contract (again, it doesn’t state a pricing structure-and we were going off the website pricing structure) Jody’s Pantry was going through a transition phase to JPC Event Group. They updated their new website taking down all of their pricing for the different selection menus. When the time came for us to pick our menu, the price jumped $10 per person for the same menu from the old website. Thankfully JPC Event group honored the original advertised price. If they didn’t , I would have felt taken advantaged of since they now no longer itemize menus printed with any type of pricing structure. Brides don’t like overpaying or being overcharged!2. TASTE TESTING: Ever since the issue with the pricing structure I felt that communication with JPC Event Group was not how it should have been. When it was time to taste test our wedding menu, I asked and confirmed a menu that we selected, plus certain cake options we wanted to taste. Upon arrival, we were served the wrong menu to test and the 2 flavor options that I requested to try was not available (which would have been fine if they told me that via email). 3. COMMUNICATIONS: The first couple days before we signed the contract, Jodys Pantry was great with returning phones. Rick told me email was the best way to communicate after we signed the contract, after our pricing structure issue and the taste testing and trying to reschedule another re-taste testing, my emails would go days without response, I would have to make a phone call to have my email questions or concerns answered, and even when some of my questions were answered, other parts were not. The week before my wedding it took 4-5 days to get in touch after I left both emails and phone calls where messages were left. As soon as I contacted my venue where JPC Event Group are highly recommended, I received a response immediately.4. FINAL BILL: When it was time to receive our itemized bill, there was a mix up from a sit down menu to the buffet style which we had selected. We were also charged for a wedding cake which we told Rick months in advanced that we had another vendor making our wedding cake. The wedding cake was later taken off. We were also charged a china fee per person and then taxed 20% as a service charge for the china… I understand the 20% for the food, and the appetizers--- but china?I was surprised how everything played out considering all of the great reviews that I have seen. I am thankful on the day of the wedding everything was fine. The preparations and communications with JPC Event Group were very stressful and that was my only issue through my whole wedding planning, every single one of my vendors that I worked with went smoothly with no miscommunications or problems. *** **We recommend this vendor for the food quality and the price, other than that, be organized and proceed with caution*****

A fabulous experience all around. My flowers were gorgeous, the decor was just what I had envisioned and more, the food got rave reviews and the cake was perfect and delicious. I could not have asked for more. They accommodated us in every way and helped us have the best day ever!

JPC will not just cater your wedding, they will put on a food production for you! I knew that I didn't want your traditional "chicken of beef" at my wedding - we wanted to "wow" our guests with the food presentation and taste- and I had so many other options to choose from I could have had 100 wedding with different menus. The quality of the food and service is superior and is reasonably priced - I felt that the price/person was very fair. Another plus is that they make BEAUTIFUL (and tasty!) wedding cakes for their bridal clients for a very reasonable price - I had a very ornate cake with hand cut fondant flowers covering it for $3.25/serving - if I would have gone to a specialty bakery it could have easily cost more than $5.00/serving. In addition to using JPC for our catering, we utilized their bartenders and I sourced my linens through them - they have a very large selection. Overall - I was extremely pleased with the presentation, the quality of food and the service we recieved on our wedding day. Their event captains could not have been more attentive to me on the wedding day. My only negative comment is that I had to wait for responses to my e-mails/ phone calls longer than I would have liked/ was used to with my other vendors- but when I did get a response it was very professional and they were very accomodating to what my wants/ needs were.

Thank you JPC Event Group so much for everything you provided and did for us to make our wedding day at The Mattress Factory PERFECT. The service was wonderful and the food was AMAZING! Everyone had a great time.

It was a great celebration for Brooke's wedding and reception! Much of the credit goes to Rick and his staff for their many talents in making an event like this be very special, beautiful, and worry free! Truly professional from start to finish. Should we have a need in the future, we will certainly call you. From the initial tasting, to the set up, to the cocktail hour, to the reception and custom sailboat cookies---our hats off to you!! It was a pleasure working with you.

Jpc Event Group were by far my favorite vendor. Rick was kind, funny, and informed me on every wedding trend. They helped me with so much more then just food. The staff was very polite and professional also. Thank you for making my day so special.

Jody's Pantry provided my catering at the Atrium and they did a fantastic job. From the first time I tasted their food, I knew I wanted them to cater the wedding. All of my guests commented about what great food we had at the wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and I would suggest them to anyone looking for a cater for any event.

Everyone at JPC made our day absolutely perfect! The food was excellent, and the cake to die for! Our guests keep talking about the scrumtious food and how amazing the staff was during the entire set-up process and the reception itself. We couldn't have imagined a more exceptional experience.

I really loved my experience working with everyone at JPC. Our planning process was easy and organized, and they were able to assist us with everything we needed from linens to wedding cake. They also recommended alot of the other vendors we used and they were all great. All in all, I would highly recommend them. We loved our cake, our guests raved about the food, and they seemed to work very well with our venue at making sure everything ran smoothly for us.

Jody's Pantry did an amazing job! The food was wonderful and the cake was SO beautiful! Everyone was talking about how great the food was even days later! We were impressed with the price and everything it included. My husband and I also felt there was a very high level of professionalism.

We held our reception at the Village Inn facility that the catering company owns. It was such a great experience from start to finish. They thought of everything, they quickly responded to all our questions through the planning, and the facility was newly remodeled and we were one of the first events since the remodel. Our guests kept complimenting us for finding a treasure with great food, cake and service.

Any bride or wedding guest will be delighted with an event including services by Jody's Pantry. They have an intense desire to create the dream of the bride, and the expertise that enables their staff to fulfill that desire!We met with Rick personally while planning our event, who discussed all of our wants and needs. Jody's Pantry's showroom is in a fantastic, restored old barn of a building, and there are many books with pictures as inspiration, while you sip on tea. The atmosphere is fun and sophisticated, and you feel secure that these people "know what they're doing".The weather was very unpredictable during the week before our wedding. Rick consulted with the staff at Buhl Mansion Guesthouse and Spa, the site of our reception, numerous times to adapt our plans, so that the final outcome would be the very best solution. On the day of our wedding, Jody and her staff set up our reception professionally without interfering with our plans and our presence. Their staff, dressed in matching black shirts and perky pink satin ties, was prompt and friendly. You always felt that it was their desire to serve you and they were pleased to do it, but they were never in the way. Their vast experience gives them an air of confidence while they swing into action. The presentation was exactly what we had hoped for and more. We had planned an informal, fun cocktail hour reception. Rick and Jody created amazing hors' doeuvres served in sparkling barware to promote the cocktail party theme. Delicious and visually stunning, the food was complimented over and over by our guests. Our cake was exactly what we had desired, communicating our 60's look with our wedding colors.Jody's Pantry's discreet retreat from our reception also added to our satisfaction. As a hostess, my participation in the clean-up was minimal, so I could continue to enjoy my guests. A bride can have complete confidence that Jody's Pantry is able to create and deliver your wedding dreams, hopes and plans. They are continually training and seeking to improve their personal skills and supplies to keep current with trends. As a hostess and a mother, I was so proud of the wedding reception we gave our daughter, and the happy memories we gave her to start her new life.

The staff at Jody's Pantry made my wedding day perfect. We had a rustic outdoor theme to our reception held outside at my Grandparent's farm. It was very important to us that the event be as organic as possible, and eco-friendly. They came through for us on everything. Rick helped us custom create a menu of autumn goodness that also took into consideration the vegans in our wedding party. They were also so flexible when we presented them with all of the DIY touches we wanted for the event. My grandmother made vintage fabric napkins for each place setting, and they ironed them for us before folding! No charge! Our pumpkin and spice wedding cake was such a big hit too. Very moist and filled with cream cheese. Our photographer told us that was the best wedding cake she had ever had at a wedding and obviously she has had alot of wedding cake.

I would have loved to have given Jody's Pantry a higher rating as she is a real sweetheart who made us an absolutely gorgeous wedding cake. My cake, however, was extremely dry. Almost all of our guests left their cake on their plates. This was a real disappointment as I have been to many a wedding where her cakes were the highlight of the evening.

Food was terrific. My cake was gorgeous! I got to pick 3 different flavors and they were all wonderful. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and they offered a ton of choices, not just regular wedding food. Staff was very professional and friendly and everything was taken care of without me having any worries.As for the cake, I cannot say enough. They let you look through their books and you can go off that if you want or tweak it and tell them anything you have in mind. The price was very reasonable especially considering they hand make each little sugar flower (which look ridiculously better than actual flowers) We got a million compliments on the cake and have a picture of it up on our wall.

I only have good things to say about my experience with Jody's Pantry! We booked them through the Atrium so I didn't deal with them directly but i have no complaints. The catered my wedding buffet dinner, appetizers and also did my cake. The cake was beautiful and the food was good. The guests all enjoyed the meal, a few guests complimented that it was great. The staff was very professional.

Jody's Pantry Catering did an excellent job not only with the food, but also with the table service - linens, chairs and all the wonderful suggestions along the way.

Jody's Pantry was amazing to work with. I initially found them on the Internet, even there website was amazing. I had my first meeting with Rick himself. The meeting was 3 hours long, but not because he was demanding a bunch of details or because he was boring me with a bunch of prices or stuff. The meeting lasted that long because we were laughing that long. He was so flexible and easy to work with. He also recommended my DJ. The day of my wedding my food was amazing, the Jody's Pantry staff looked and acted very professional, and rick was there. My cake was amazing, and also done by Jody's pantry. Jody was a delight to work with.

Jody and Rick were WONDERFUL to work with. Our wedding was outdoors at my parent's home by the lake and they arranged everything for us...clear tents, tables, chiavari chairs, table linens, their company china, charger plates...and on and on. The food was served in stations with chefs and our guests loved that! Jody did our cake and sugar cookies for our favors...loved them! The made many great reverals for floral, photography and music too. A+ company.

We used Jody's Pantry at our wedding at The Atrium. They were wonderful to work with. I can't tell you how many people commented on how good the food was. The cake was beautiful! They really did an excellent job and I would recommend them to others without any hesitations.

Smiling all the way to my honeymoon because Jody's Pantry was FABULOUS! Our guests raved non-stop at our reception-- about the food displays, the uniqueness of the menu (not that same old New Castle Chicken and Pasta), the gourgeous wedding cake, and the attention to detail that saved the day several times. Please use this company if you want an event that will be flawless and food that will be above wedding par!

After tasting their food at a bridal fair the consensus among my bridesmaids was "their food is the BEST!" From that point on, we never had a regret about choosing Jody's Pantry Catering to cater our reception. They treated us with respect and made the whole planning process easy. Rick was great at our private tasting, and really helped us think of things we may have forgotten. Their service staff was very courteous to our guests, and believe me that is saying alot with our group of friends and relatives. Basically, I could not say enough good about this company, and I have already told them to feel free to use me as a reference any time.

They catered our wedding and people still talk about how great their food was three months later. We almost booked another caterer right before meeting them at a bridal fair, and we were so glad we waited becasue they were very good. Eventhough we wanted a buffet, they made it different for us by putting out the food in a unique way and it made the lines move fast and people wer e impressed. I loved my cake too. They have a great "event specialist" named Bonnie. Ask for her when you call them.

The food was delicious....the family style worked really well for the large group of people at our reception and everyone was happy with being able to still choose what went on their plate and the ease of getting more of something they enjoyed. The cake was absolutely beautiful and the taste was beyond anything we've had at any other wedding. Friends still talk about the cake!!

Jody's Pantry provided the food and the cake for our wedding. We got positive reviews on both, although I was too excited to eat much that day! The cake was incredible. I will say that I wanted something simple and felt like I wasn't using Jody's talent to it's fullest ability - she is able to recreate just about anything you could dream up and I know I didn't give her a challenge. But our 4 tier, round, edible pearl embellished cake topped with Gerber daisies was stunning! We also were able to choose 3 different batters and fillings for our guests to choose from. Look at the website for a long list of mouth-watering combinations. My only complaint is that there was a miscommunication about our cake tasting. We showed up to sample the cake; Jody showed up to design our cake! She kindly ran to the kitchen and pulled out 4 different batters and fillings so that we could taste something. We also did not hear about their tasting open houses early enough and were unable to attend. In the end, it didn't matter because the food was good and the cake was lovely and "scrumptious", as Jody's Pantry likes to say. :)

I meant to write this review a while ago, but we moved out of town after the wedding and things got stressful. Anyway-- Jody and Rick- you were great. Mike and I could not have asked for more. They took care of so many little extras for us and didn't nickle and dime us while doing so. Our linens were so beautiful, they recommended a wonderful florist and a fun dj that our guests loved. The food was presented in such a metropolitan way that was better than most caterers in our neck of the woods. And of course our cake was the best! modern and delicious. Jody made me a believer in fondant!

I wish there were more than 5 stars in that rating selector because Jody and Rick deserve more than 5! They are simply the best at what they do. They care so much about their events and clients and we felt so pampered and taken cake of by them. They ensured that our day was flawless. Our cake was a show stopper, our food was delicious and well presented, and our guests continually commented throughout the evening about how perfect everything was. Kudos to Jody's Pantry staff and owners. We would always be happy to give a reference for them.

We got all of our wedding cookies from Jody's and she also made us the most beautiful fondant cake. It was so delicious that we have almost eaten our topper several times in this year before our 1st anniversary! The tasting she set up for us was amazing. She had cupcakes made in practically every cake/filling combo you could imagine, so we really got to try ALL of the flavors before making a decision. We also got to try all of the cookies. Jody's definitely takes the time to make sure you are completely satisfied with your decisions. They have an awesome portfolio of deliciousness!!!

We had the catering and the wedding cake ordered from Jody's Pantry. Everyone really enjoyed all of the food. I loved the wedding cake and I was super impressed that I got to select a different flavor & filling combination for each of the layers. That was cool! Everything was scrumptious!

You guys did a wonderful job and everything was so beautiful. I can't thank you enough for helping to make my wedding day so wonderful!
