We found my husbands wedding band here, and haven't seen anything like it anywhere else! They were great to work with and have amazing pieces. They'll even custom make something for you if you haven't found the perfect band/ring.

My new husband and I worked with Jeff at John Franklin Jewelers, and he was fantastic. My engagement ring was custom made in Denver, CO, and we needed to find someone to make our wedding bands in the San Diego area. Jeff was very attuned to our needs, always communicated quickly, and was incredibly helpful. I have a beautiful, simple gold band that matches my engagement ring perfectly, and my husband has a great tungsten band. Jeff held the rings for us until the week of our wedding when we sent one of our parents to go pick them up. We got free engraving, which was fantastic, and Jeff even fixed one of my old rings for me at a very reasonable price.

Amazing. I would recommend working with Jeff. He's down to earth, created a custom ring for us and is very good value.

We worked with Jeff in purchasing our wedding bands. We told him what kind of band we wanted and we were able to have a band custom made at a very reasonable price. He was great in communicating the progress of our ring and was flexible with how we wanted to make payments. The ring for my husband was even engraved at no additional charge. Great service and product!

We worked with Jeff Martin at John Franklin Jewelers on our wedding bands. He was able to create matching Celtic wedding bands, using a knot we had found. They came out beautifully! We got our dream rings!! He did such a good job, and was really great to work with. We really enjoyed being so involved in the design process, and seeing the final product was awesome. The price was very reasonable, too. Highly reccommended!

John was a dream come ture for my laid back surfer husband. We both immediately knew we could trust him which was really the biggest thing since we were so new to buying jewelry. We ended up getting exactly what we both wanted ... but I changed my mind once during the middle of it and he was absolutely wonderful about going back to square one for me! I would abolutely recommend this jeweler.

We used Jeff's services for our wedding rings and are still very happy (despite being too pregnant to wear my ring!). We initially contacted 3 jewelers - one blew me off completely, another just wasn't getting what we were saying and wasn't willing to be flexible on telling us what we wanted. We contacted Jeff 7 months before our wedding and for a while, his top priority were those who came in whose wedding was in a month. He got us a rough 3-d mock up within 2 weeks and then we dropped the other jeweler. We also gave him a drawing of what my husband and I had decided would be our wedding rings. Over 33 drafts later of fine tuning it to exactly what we wanted, we got to see our 2-dimensional sketch in a 3-d drawing and then a wax mold we could turn over in our hands. The day we got the call that our rings were ready (very quickly after we put in the order) I flew over and was thrilled to see them! The boxes the rings were in were very cute as well - a wooden box for mine and a "man box" for my husbands.

I wish that we had found John Franklin Jewelers before the wedding to create my engagement ring. We had an exact idea of what we wanted my husband’s ring to look like, and of course it wasn’t just a simple gold band.

Hands down, the best place for rings and fine jewelry in San Diego!
