All I can say is awesome! Kelly was the one who worked with us. She was great. She met me at the location several times to go over what we needed to set up the reception. This was very helpful because it was a private home we were not sure how to set everything up. She even drew a little map so we could see how it would look. The food was great. We decided to do a buffet, but she gave my husband and I plated service. The best part is once you book you get to go to tastings every other month to try different things on their menu. This was very helpful in deciding what we wanted for our dinner. She will also put what you want to try at a tasting so you can see what it tastes like. Another perk of working with this company is that all tables, chairs, and linens are provided. Upgrades are available, but the standard choices were so great that I did not need upgrades. Kelly was very helpful in helping me choose linens. We were able to change our minds about our guest count up until 10 days before which was nice. Someone always gets added at the last minute. Very good food and service!

The staff and food from John Michael's was amazing. Our guests and families STILL talk about the yummy foods and presentation.

Several guests commented how this was the best caterered food they had ever had. It was also the best priced caterer that I had found in the lake mary/orlando area

Dear Michael,Thank you hardly seems enough and does not nearly express our feelings about you and your staff. From the moment we met with you, you made us feel as though we were important to you and that our dreams of our daughter’s wedding were what you were going to make happen. You did that and so much more. From the first tasting in your office, to the numerous tastings were able to attend over 2 years, your food was amazing. Your attention to detail, to allow us to see and taste what could be, go far above any one else in your industry! It made it very difficult to select food I must say as each thing was more delicious than the next. Your care with us as we sent you many emails and questions always made us feel comfortable and open to ask and feel positive with our choices. When we walked into that ballroom I cannot tell you how amazed and emotional we were. You made our little girl’s dreams come true. It was perfect on every level. The room was stunning. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful your staff was. Debbie, I believe I have the name right, was fantastic. She was always there to lend a hand, to offer help, and to see to our needs. Making sure all the details were handled. We loved having her be with us. Brooke was so great to Amie & Ryan, again so attentive. There was another waiter, I cannot remember his name. He was fantastic. He took care of our table and treated us like we were the King and Queen of the world. He had a bit of an accent, a young man, maybe Hispanic. I cannot remember his name and I thought I would forever. He made us smile and also took care of every need. I did not get to meet many of the other staff members but only positive comments about all and the bar tenders were fantastic as well. The food, Oh my goodness, it was scrumptious. The comments are still coming in to us about how delicious everything was. So beautifully presented and professionally served! Your chef is world class in our book!Everything, right down to the organization of clean up and getting things done at the end was so well orchestrated and handled by all we encountered. Your beautiful way of presenting us with leftovers, wow! Helping to pack up, your staff was amazing. I cannot believe this day has come and gone and we will miss our quarterly tastings and the beautiful Leu Gardens. You can be assured we will sing your praises to all who will listen and our recommendations of you and your fabulous staff will be heard by all. I cannot recommend John Michael highly enough. Our wedding was Sept. 3rd of 2011, and the most important thing I can say about John Michael and their staff is that on my wedding day, I did not have to worry about a thing. Michael Thomas (the manager/wedding consultant and the best at what he does) worked diligently with my wife and I to prepare everything for our day before hand so that I had no stress or worries while I was trying to enjoy my ceremony and reception. The other most important service John Michael's offered us was a complete wedding package (they call it their Diamond Wedding Package) where Michael Thomas contracts vendors he has been working with for years in Orlando, making him a one stop shop for our day. Him and his team of vendors include catering, photography, videography, DJ, cake, and floral, among many others. Because my wife and I work a lot, this was a blessing. The vendors he works with were all absolutely incredible. You cannot go wrong with the Diamond Package, and it honestly feels like a steal, as the quality of work they all do is worth way more than what you pay (John Michael's is incredibly affordable).We feel like we got WAY more than what we paid for in terms of quality of the food and all his services. Our guests still talk about the food at the wedding (we did the Panko Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Ravioli as well as a London Broil Carving station). Michael Thomas has done thousands of weddings and you can tell when you see the results of him, his staff, and the vendors work. All throughout the reception we never had to ask for anything, as the staff constantly ensured we had anything and everything we wanted.Just for catering, John Michael's is extraordinary. But if you want to really mitigate the stress of finding all other vendors/services and get vendors who really care about your day, get the Diamond Package. My wife and I still feel so lucky that John Michael's was a one stop shop. There is not one negative thing or complaint we could make about working with him. And, if you want a wedding consultant/planner to be with you for months before your wedding to help get all your ducks in a row, Michael Thomas is your man. He would often contact me to handle loose ends and he is always easy to get a hold of for any questions. Look no further than John Michael's. They are experienced, their food is perfect, and their staff proved to me that above all else they wanted my wife and I to not have any worry during our day.

John Michaels worked with me on absolutely every little detail and helped make the day exactly what I had envisioned. On top of all that, the food was AMAZING. Everyone raved about how incredible the food was (especially the mashed potato bar, I still dream about it!) The quality of service we received was incredible and the value was great!! Definitely would use them again in the future!

Amazing if I might say so myself! The food was great, the service was great. One of the staff Charlene was in charge for the night and she was the best. She was so flexible, she considered my day so important, she was on top of everything. She went above and beyond what my expectations were. Request her for your day she is amazing! They were easy to work with and so responsive. Again everyone kept talking about the food. Not one person had a complaint. We did an adobe chicken, crunch tilapia, veggies and my favorite garlic mashed potatoes. We had a sweet treat station instead of cake and that table was a hit. People's eyes were glistening and after the wedding everyone came to compliment it. I highly recommend John Michael Events.

John Michael catering service was phenominal. The food was great, all my guest couldn't stop telling me how much they enjoyed the food. Prices are not to bad.

We loved working with John Michael Weddings and Special Events! Even before the wedding day, Michael was very easy to communicate with and would get back to me about any question I had quickly. They worked with us throughout the entire planning period, right up to the wedding day itself. I must have changed the guest tables and set up 100x, but I never felt pressured or imposing at all.The food on the day of and the service? Amazing! There was always a staff member present asking me if there was anything I needed at all, and my guests were always attended to properly.I was also getting compliments about the food even 3 weeks post-wedding (which is where I am now :) ) Everyone loved the food (myself included!) and the friendly service.I highly recommend :) Thank you John Michael Weddings for being a part of our special day and making it run just right!

John Michael Events was amazing! They catered my wedding at the Lake Mary Event Center in Jan. All of the staff was fantastic and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Our coordinator was wonderful as well, she made the whole night run smoothly. Jerry in particular who was one of our servers to the bridal party was awesome! Most AMAZING food EVER!! The set-up was beautiful and the service was awesome!! So pleased with our catering choice!

We had our wedding at Lake Mary Events Center which had a list of approved caterers. We decided to check out JME and were pleasantly surprised after getting quotes from other caterers in the area. The price is reasonable for what is included and they are very flexible with the menu. Michael customized it to meet our needs since we had a brunch wedding.
During the planning process, Michael was so nice and pleasant to work with. He was very responsive and quick with emails. He addressed all of my questions and concerns and did his best to assist me in any way he could!
Day of the wedding, the staff was efficient and cheerful. We got a lot of compliments on the food which I have to agree with! The staff served food to our sweetheart table and ensured we got all the extra ramekins of toppings for our mashed potato martini bar. Luckily because food was brought to us, my husband and I got to eat and enjoy the food, which was super tasty! I highly recommend John Michael events to any bride in the Central Florida area!

Michael was amazing to work with and took every bit of stress out of our wedding day - even when we had to make last minute changes for the rain. All I had to do was enjoy the day and I knew that every detail was being handled exactly the way I wanted it! I am very detail oriented but Michael made sure that everything we discussed was done. The servers were so efficient and friendly and made sure all evening that everyone had what they needed! I would highly recommend JME as both a caterer and wedding planner!

We had a great caterer! Throughout our engagment he was so prompt with getting back to me and was always willing to be flexible. If we didnt want this he would credit us for it. Substitutions were always allowed! We did have an issue with running out of food but in the end, the food was awesome and everyone enjoyed themselves so that is all that really matters!

Great Food, Great Set Up, Great Service

JME did a gread job! Michael always picked up the phone, and responded quickly to emails. We were able to customize the menu as a variation on afternoon tea, and worked within our budget. They set up the room, including the centerpieces and linens, leaving very little to worry about. The food was delicious and the service was good.

I absolutely loved working with this company. The food is excellent, they are always quickly replying to emails or calls regarding anything from the tiniest detail to much bigger things. My wedding was completely outside and it rained and they even thought to bring umbrellas for the guests. They were a big part of the reason i did not stress out on our wedding day. The whole time they were checking with us to make sure we were okay and had everything that we needed and were happy with the set up. i would highly reccommend this company. If you go with them talk to kelly, she is a fabulous coordinator!

The food was so great!! They gave us a to-go box of dinner & cake which we loved having seconds. Everyone enjoyed the flavor of the food and the servers were so slick. It was like they were there when you needed them but not in the way. They looked professional and took care of us. The cake was so yummy and beautiful. There was no way that top tier would survive till one year mark. Everything was presented so nicely and looked so pretty. I knew this was a great decision from the beginning. Carma was amazing to work with through the entire process. She answered so many of my questions even if they were not related to catering.

It was so easy working with John Michael Events. They took all of the stress out of planning our wedding.

My husband and I both work in hospitality, so it was important to us to find someone who understood what hospitality really means. I am a chef and JME did an excellent job of catering to all of my requests from sugar-free to gelatin-free. I have to say that Kelly Kibbat at JME was awesome... and even though I am sure I talked her ear off plenty of times she never let it be known. She was always so happy and willing to go the extra mile. She was great at handling an uppity sister who thought that it was her wedding day instead. Without Kelly I do not think the day would have gone off without a hitch. The cakes were awesome and so was the detail on the cakes. They are very flexible and ready to please!

We are very glad that we went with John Michael Events. We were planning destination wedding in Florida and did not know any vendors. I found Michael as one of the recommended vendors for the venue we were interested. I liked his website because it was very upfront and informative. I contacted email in the contact information and Michael got back to me right away. He was very flexible and responsive. Great to deal with and quick in his replies even if I asked same question. We did most of the planning over email (very important to me since both me and my fiancee has crazy schedules and did not have much spare time to talk about the wedding). Michael was great at setting all vendors appointments on one day so we had to make one trip to Florida only. Even when our flight was late and we could not make it to the appointments, he was great at rescheduling and made us feel at ease. On the wedding day I did not pay much attention to the food:) (lol, most brides are too nervous to eat), but I received a lot of compliments from the guests. We were a little worried that we are not going to have enough food. But there was plenty and and we had lots of left overs that we get to take home:) I loved working with them and would recommend their service in the future.

Deciding to use John Michael as my catering and coordination service was one of the best wedding decisions I made. Carma became our coordinator and she was amazing. She listened to every detail, every request and made it happen. When our officiant had to back out at the last minute, she was there waiting with a back up for me. I don't know what I would have done without her help. As for the catering, I've never had better wedding food. Our guests told me afterwards they were expecting something totally different and were extremely pleased we chose such a great company and menu. It made the reception. Their baker provided the exact cake I wanted and tasted so, so good. We didn't even bother trying to save the top layer! The wait staff and supervisors were very professional and provided excellent service. They completely set up and transformed our venue into exactly what I'd wanted and packed it all up as we made our grand exit. Great, great company to work with.

We are so happy with the services JM Events provided. It was a bit pricey, however the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Michael Thomas was so flexible with what we wanted and the price was customized for the things we needed. He was extremely willing to work with us to get the most for our money. All of our guests said the food was amazing!

Michael was a fantastic coordinator. He was always quick to respond to emails and worked with me on my budget. The food was great and so was the service. We loved the plate decoration and the to-go box at the end!

Kelly was our coordinator she was thoughtful and really helped us out on our budget.

For the price, JM Catering was fair. Kelly, our coordinator was wonderful - always ready to answer questions and to help out. She really made the process of planning easy. There were some mishaps the day of the wedding - we ordered some menu items that were not traditionally served by the caterer - and they came out wrong. After the wedding, I sent a note to Kelly - who responded quickly with an apology and a small gift to make it up to us. It was very thoughtful. All in all, I would recommend JM - just stick to their menus - don't order any specialty items.

John Michael Events really went the extra mile to make our wedding day special. They were more than willing to customize a package that not only fit our tastes, but also our budget.

He did a great job and offered some great suggestions when it came to music for the ceremony.

Excellent quality food. They were willing to make an egg-free wedding cake top to accomodate an egg-allergic bride. Highly recommended.
