Wow, wow, wow! Jose Villa is amazing. He is at the top of his game and for good reason. His photos are so light, artistic and creative. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. As a vendor, I was super impressed with how unobtrusive he was during the entire wedding and to think he does it and STILL gets amazing photos is truly impressive. He's a true artist and worth every penny. Book early!

Jose is a true artist. He is actually the first photographer we looked at, but he was out of our budget. So over the course of six months, I looked at pretty much every decent photographer from Santa Barbara to Orange County, hoping to find one whose work I liked as much, for less money. Never happened. Finally, one of my friends said - you realize you compare EVERYONE to Jose - just hire him already! So we scheduled a meeting, and were both extremely impressed. We decided he was worth busting the budget for. We never regretted it for one moment. The composition of his photographs is top-notch, and he is keenly aware of light, which really makes a difference. He also has such an easy-going way about him that he relaxes you, something very important for "natural" looking photographs.

After much readjustment to our budget, we were able to book Jose. And let me say that he was worth everything. Our wedding pictures are breathtaking. Jose is not just a great photographer, but he is a great vendor to work with. Book Early!!

Jose Villa's work is AMAZING - Photography was very important to us, so I searched high and low for the perfect photographer. I was devastated to learn he was already booked for our wedding date. If he's available - book him! He is shooting my friend's wedding next year and I am so envious and eager to see him in action!

Everyone has said it before but yes Jose Villa is simply amazing. I, like many others, always compared his work to others and had to book him because we couldn't find anything comparable. LOVE LOVE LOVE our pictures. Will post them up soon.

I just adore Jose Villa's work to no end! I fell in love with his photography early on in my wedding planning phase and no one else seemed to compare. For my husband's sake I really, really tried to find a local photographer, but no one even came close to my Jose Villa's work and style!

I love that his work is fresh, artistic, beautiful and just so amazing. He's got a great eye for composition and the quality of his film photography is so beautiful! You get amazing skin tones and beautiful vibrant colors without them being too saturated.

A-MAZ-ING photographer. Wish I had the money to book him, but at least I convinced my best friend to! Her wedding photos were swoon-worthy. He does all film, which I love.
