Joe is so flexible and easy to work with. I was nervous to take our pictures because we were in a public venue and a lot of people were watching, but he kept us focused and in the moment. All of the shots turned out great! We even got shots we love with our dog, Piper. I can't wait to see how amazing our wedding photos will be!

My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done with Joseph K. Brown Photography and our pictures are fantastic! It was hard to pick just one for our save the date because there were so many that we loved.

Joseph is wonderful to work with. He quickly returned all phone calls and e-mails. I was nervous on the afternoon of the photo shoot because my fiancé and I had never done anything like that before, but we immediately felt comfortable with Joseph. He had so many clever and creative ideas, but also wanted to hear from us what we were looking for in our engagement photos. He had done research on the area prior to meeting with us, and he knew all the “hot spots” for engagement photos and beautiful scenery. It is obvious that he truly enjoys his work and wants to make his clients happy.

We used Joseph K. Photography for our engagement photos. Joe had many creative ideas for various backdrops and scenery for a variety of photos, and came prepared. He made the day easy for us and although we were a bit nervous, he we had a lot of fun taking photos with him. He also has excellent pricing and deals, and provides great value.

A lot of times with vendors you either get great service or a great product, but with Joseph K. Brown Photography, you get both. The photos were an extremely important part of the wedding planning process for me, especially since we opted not to get a video. From our first meeting, Joe listened to what we were looking for and was great to work with. The day of the wedding, Joe was on time and flexible. We ran late and didn't get to take pictures before like we had planned, but Joe was able to fit everything in at different times throughout the reception. Most importantly, the pictures (all 1000 of them) were absolutely beautiful. We got great posed shots, and lots of fun candids. We have black and white and color photos on a CD that we can print for friends and family. I am extremely happy with the service we received, and my husband and I plan to use Joe again in the future for family photos. I highly recommend this vendor!

I was given Joseph's name by a friend and really liked his work. My husband and I had him take our engagement photos, which happened to be in the snow on a freezing cold day. Joseph was very creative with our pictures (considering the conditions) and we received them very quickly. He also photographed our wedding and was able to capture some really awesome candids. He also took some great posed shots and covered every aspect, not just us and our guests, but the tables, rings, flower arrangements, and the cake. He was very professional and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants professional pictures at a great price. Plus, we received a cd with all our pictures to do what we wanted with.

Wow, this photographer really went above and beyond! My fiance and I just got engaged and wanted to get pictures done asap because we wanted to use the pics for our engagement party invitations. I stumbled upon Joseph's website and fell in love with his style. Well, at the time that we were scheduling our photo shoot, Joseph was all booked up that entire week. Unfortunately, my family and I were going on vacation that following week, meaning the photo shoot would be a whole 2 weeks later than i expected. I reluctantly agreed and scheduled the shoot anyways. I was pleasantly surprised the next day when Joseph left me a voicemail saying one of his clients had rescheduled and he was available in 4 days if we wanted! I was so grateful that he thought of us first, especially with the tight schedule my fiance and I have. The photo shoot went great and the pictures came out beautiful! He was very professional with just the right amount of friendliness that made us feel comfortable rather than awkward. The pictures really showed that we were at ease and having fun and didn't look timid or "pose-y". My husband and I highly recommend Joseph! Truly a genuinely good person!

We had a very small wedding & Joe was able to capture all of our intimate moments, formal poses & candids without any interruptions to our service. The formal photos were most important to us and he worked with us in many different locations at the venue to make sure we got the perfect ones. After receiving the CD of photos (within a week or so after the wedding) we found how many great photo ops & candids he had taken. Moments that will cherish forever! On the day of my wedding it was very dark and rained all day. So all the pictures i planned on having taken in the garden were not taken. My pictures were nice, but not spectacular. So i hired this photographer to do a re-shoot outside this month. It was great. The photographer was so nice and respectful and made me feel at ease. I was very nervous to be shooting at a public garden with everyone staring at my big dress, but in the end i forgot all about them thanks to Joe. I just received the shots today. It has only been a week and i already got all my pictures on a cd. They look amazing!!! I look just like a radiant bride on her wedding day. All the poses that i though were a bit awkward look soo good. I am soo happy that i did this re-shoot, theses are the pictures that i should have had the first time around. I love these pictures. I am also thinking of purchasing a bridal shoot package for my sister. That way she can take all the interesting pictures before the wedding day and not be worried about a time frame like my wedding day. Now I just have to pick out the pictures to do my album, its hard there are so many nice shots.

Excellent photographer...we had two shooters because we didn't want anything to be missed. We have tons of pictures from that day, from all different angles. Joe is truly a professional when it comes to capturing special moments! Selecting a photographer was one of the most stressful things in our wedding process, but we were so happy with our results that we would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great wedding photographer!

Recently I had the pleasure of working with Joseph K. Brown Photography at a wedding reception at the Salt Creek Grille in scenic Rumson, NJ. I arrived 90 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, and one of Joe's two assistants was already there preparing for the shoot. It was an extremely hot and humid day - Joe and his assistants were each armed with two cameras, and seemed to be constantly on the move and shooting, despite the heat. I observed the photographers using an interesting umbrella-like device to photograph the cake in the most flattering light. Joe and his staff were friendly, and we worked together in a collaborative team effort to ensure that all of the special moments of the reception were captured on film.
