The lobby and ball room are gorgeous. The mood of the room during our reception was so great. I loved the balcony at night as well. In the middle of us planning our wedding the center changed management and a few things we were promised were no delivered. For example, we were promised to have a piano in the room and my father was planning to use it to preform a song, but on the day of the wedding, it was no where to be found.

Patsy, the event coordinator, was very nice to work with. The place has some rules you need to follow, but it’s worth it. The venue is beautiful and really close to downtown and the intracoastal which makes for nice pictures. We got a lot of compliments that night. Everyone was really impressed with the venue. I’m very happy that we were able to have our reception there.

Patsy, the event coordinator, was very nice to work with. This place also has some rules you need to follow, but its worth it. The venue is beautiful and really close to downtown and the intracoastal which makes for nice pictures. We got a lot of compliments that night. Everyone was really impressed with the venue. Im very happy that we were able to have our reception there. Its the perfect size for around 100 people. I would not recommend much more than 100 people for this venue though. I would say max 120ish. The ballroom area is beautiful with the ceiling draping and lights. It is also very neutral which makes it easy to use any color palette inside to decorate it.

The Center is Florida Grand Opera's Fort Lauderdale headquarters and the location for numerous events. It is also a very popular location for seminars, weddings, and parties, including the sumptuous After Opera Parties.
