If you want journalistic-style photographs by invisible photographers, this is the perfect choice for you. If you want lots of portraits, go with a different photographer. Josie is all about capturing The Day and the moments that happen when you don't even notice there is a photographer watching.

Review her online albums to really get a sense of what she does. Every wedding is unique, of course, but that uniqueness is captured in the photos she takes.

Josie and Danny were amazing every step of the way. I wish all my wedding vendors had been as responsive as Josie during the planning process, and I knew I could depend on them for the big day. They had creative ideas for pics, and never got in the way. We received our beautiful hard cover album about six weeks after the wedding, and I've gotten so many compliments on it. I've already recommended Josie to two brides-to-be.

Josie Liming was a wonderful photographer to work with for our wedding day. She spent the morning with me, and she and her assistant stayed at the wedding until after the groom and I left. She has an incredible talent for capturing "moments" which resulted in fantastic candidate shots throughout the day and evening. We also purchased a "photo booth" from Josie, where she put up black curtains and had a remote for a camera, so people could take their own pictures. This was a HUGE hit and resulted in some great photos of my friends and family. She was extremely easy to work with, and quickly turned around photos and an online wedding album. I would definitely use Josie for other occasions, and highly recommend her.

Josie Liming photographed our daughter's wedding on Orcas Island, and her work was absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for more. Going through the pictures, it was so nice to see images of things that I missed out on on the day of the wedding either because I wasn't there or because my head was so in the clouds I didn't notice them and also things I had forgotten about on account of too many wedding cake martinis :-) I loved seeing the pictures of Andy and his boys getting ready in the morning.
