JS Makeup Artistry

Jacqueline did my make-up as well as my mother and mother-in-laws plus 5 bridesmaids for my July 2011 wedding. She was not only very efficient, but the quality was outstanding and we all loved her! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, experience make up artist who will also put you at ease on the big day!

Veronica and Lauren did an amazing job on the makeup and hair of myself, 5 bridesmaids, a flower girl, and the two mothers. Everyone looked absolutely amazing and their looks lasted through the fun filled evening of dancing and hugs. In addition to their talented hands and eyes, they are the real deal sweethearts that made the day even more special. I am hoping that one of my friends or family members will have the opportunity to use their services in the near future!

These girls rocks! Three of them (Veronica, Jessica and Tenaya) came to my Sonoma hotel room to do the bride, 5 bridesmaids, and four mom's hair AND makeup - everyone looked and felt just fabulous! My makeup lasted at least 12 hours, and my curls looked great more than 24 hours later! Best of all - these chicks are the real deal sweethearts. They have the best makeup, they know how to use it, and they certainly understand "wedding chaos". This bride couldn't be happier with JS Makeup Artistry!

Veronica Passalacqua at JS Makeup provided hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms. She did an excellent job! I received many complements saying how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. She also did a nice job with the moms without overdoing the makeup, and the bridesmaids were happy with the way they looked.

I did the preview appointment with Veronica on the weekend before my wedding, which was incredibly helpful. Veronica spent about 1.5-2 hours with me working on a look I was happy with. She did a great job on my hair, which was exactly what I wanted. We tried a couple of different looks with the makeup until we landed on something I was happy with, since I don't normally wear a lot of makeup. I would highly recommend the preview appointment, since you can see how your hair and makeup with hold throughout the day, and make any necessary changes on your wedding day. I had Veronica go a little lighter on the foundation for my wedding day since it didn't settle in much after my preview appointment. I also purchased my lipstick at my preview appointment, so I would have it for my wedding day and could use it for other things like the rehearsal dinner, etc.

I would recommend JS Makeup Artistry to other brides looking for makeup in the area. I looked at one other "bridal makeup" service in the area, and while their prices were reasonable for the bride, their prices for bridesmaids hair and makeup were twice as high as JS Makeup. I know there are cheaper hair and makeup services in the area if you go through a regular salon, but I don't have a regular hair salon so JS was a nice safe bet for my wedding day..

I know some people have commented that the payment schedule is difficult with JS Makeup, but it really is not. You pay the deposit/booking fee to the company owner Jacqueline Scott, then another $100 at the time of your bridal preview appointment, and the rest on the wedding day.

My experience w/ JS Makeup was amazing from the months of preparing up until the day of my wedding. There was no detail that was forgotton from pre-wedding facials, to eyebrow waxing, foundation, and make-up for touch ups on my wedding day.
