This was the perfect band for our cocktail hour at my wedding reception. Their style of music is jazzy, yet contemporary, with a bit of a Spanish flair. Also, they are a registered nonprofit band with proceeds benefitting Amnesty International. Enjoy great music at your reception and benefit an amazing cause!

Jubilee is wonderful! They provided the perfect musical background for our cocktail hour. Although we didn't get to hear the band play (we were taking our pictures), many of the guests commented that it was absolutely perfect for the situation. I would highly recommend you get in contact with Curtis and book them for your wedding! Most importantly, Jubilee is a non-profit organization and your money will be going to help with the oppressed and maltreated.

After meeting Curtis from Live Jubilee for the first time, we felt like we'd known him and his wife for years. They we very-very friendly. We asked Curtis to preform for our ceremony/reception and he did an amazing job. He and his wife a created a very comfortable vibe for our guests during the reception and preformed a beautiful song for the processional that really captured the moment. His guitar skills are amazing and they both have incredible voices. Curtis even learned a certain hymn that we asked him to play during part of the ceremony. Live Jubilee is not only a great band, but they are non-profit and donates 10% of their fees to an organization that helps people with legal issues around the world. We would highly recommend them to everyone.

JUBILEE plays anything from subtle Brazilian jazz to up-tempo funk and groovy reggae. They have over four years of experience playing wedding receptions (in addition to corporate and private gigs - including Gov. Gregoire, Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Federal Home Loan Bank, and the SAM Olypic Sculpture Park). Seattle based JUBILEE is officially registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This means that 10% of all booking fees and 50% of merchandise sales (CD, T-shirts, stickers etc.) are donated to a cause that meets the US Federal Government’s guidelines for charitable causes.
