I originally approached Judy to provide the entertainment for a large, important function that I was arranging in California. Since I am located in Maine, our first interactions were strictly over the phone and via email. She was a joy to work with, friendly, professional and so helpful in orchestrating the event. What I was after was not the run-of-the-mill musical entertainment but a re-creation of a specific genre/era of music. She understood immediately what I was after and when I arrived for the event she and her band were ready to go, looking the part perfectly. Throughout that evening Judy showed an amazing knack for reading the audience members’ reactions and knowing exactly what they wanted to hear. Plus, there was not a request that night she couldn’t perform. She was the highlight of the night and it all looked so effortless. I hired her the very next year for the same event, no hesitation. I no longer organize that event but if I did, I would use her every time. If I have an event/party here on the east coast, I’d be seriously tempted to fly her in for it. Yes, she’s that good!

My husband and I dreamed about a jazz band the moment we started thinking about what kind of music we wanted at our wedding. I went searching and found Judy Chamberlain. I contacted her letting her know that I wanted music that embodied Frank, Ella, Golden Age Broadway and "all that jazz".
I can ensure that this woman and her band live up to EVERY 5 star review and fantastic quotes listed on her website. She was a dream come true. Her repertoire is expansive and vast, just like the skill she uses to sing it. You wont be close to sorry if you book Ms Chamberlain. In fact, you'll be more than elated :)

Judy and her band are extraordinary! She was non stop entertainment from our ceremony to our reception. She is the best at what she does. When talking to Judy, it was like talking to a long lost friend. She knew exactly what I wanted and we actually spent hours on the phone. She even found, practiced, and performed an old chinese tune that had a lot of meaning to my parents and I. My husband I cannot thank Judy and her band enough. I was also worried that no one would dance during the reception, but she really got the crowd going. Even my 87 year old grandmother got on the dance floor and boogied. I am so happy to have found Judy and she really made the entire event memorable for everyone who attended the wedding. She went out of her way to coordinate with all my vendors to make sure everything went without a hitch. For all future big events I will definitely give Judy a call. For all those who are looking for a truly entertaining band with class and personality, give Judy a call.

Judy Chamberlain and her band were the entertainment for my daughter's wedding in Tucson AZ. Judy and her band are consummate professionals. The whole production was seamless. So many of our guests commented about how they loved the music. I especially noticed how Judy handles the room and keeps the energy moving. I loved the way she customized songs with the kids names in them. It was very sophisticated and personal at the same time. We contracted for non-stop band music and I was really happy we did. Judy is just smart and knows you want your event to be personal and special and well performed.

Hiring Judy and her band is quite honestly the best decision you can make for your wedding or special event. They are extremely talented, professional and elegant entertainers who know how to read a crowd and set the appropriate mood.
Judy's musical knowledge is truly mind-blowing! Plus she is very sensitive to your needs. For example, when deciding what song I should walk down the aisle to, Judy didn't just throw out names of songs, but instead talked to me about what it felt like to be in love with my now-husband. Based on my answers, she started singing a song to me over the phone that brought tears to my eyes and I knew that was the one!
In short, my dream wedding became MY wedding because of Judy!

Judy and the band performed at my Old Hollywood style wedding in May 2007. They're performance summed up in one word? AWESOME! They were a major contribution to the elegant ambiance. She helped me choose the ceremony music when I told her I didn't want the traditional wedding march. She was an incredible MC and could read a crowd better than any other wedding band I've ever seen.

Our event was simply Made by Judy Chamberlain and the musical talent she brings.
Judy Chamberlain is far and away NOT merely a 'wedding quality' act. Her musicians are pros (and sometimes names) who are playing at your event because they like to play and meld seamlessly with Judy's music, vocals, and arrangements.
We worked this lady hard. Several music approaches, some from other countries, and a mix of styles for the Opening, Ceremony, Dining, Dancing, and Reception. The kind of classy Jazz that makes you think people should be dressed up - but they were smiling no matter their attire, age, or background.
Judy was stunningly talented, refreshingly honest, and an amazing musical designer who listened to our needs, then met them all. We wanted the best music from the USA - - - and even some Ukranian tunes. Hey, they even played "Rubber Duckie" as part of an inside joke to the groom.
We had guests from 6 states and three countries at this event. Judy was enthusiastic, straightforward, and amazingly talented. I'm a business guy and Judy shot straight, went beyond what was asked, got people who are used to having people who watch them need to buy a ticket first. These performers were REALLY good. She designed different instrument combinations for the different needs of the room.
Right after my wife, Judy was the biggest reason the hours long extravaganza was the event that is still talked about at family gatherings.
I know nothing about music. I just know this lady did it right.

I hired Judy Chamberlain and her band for my wedding, which was on a private estate in Rancho Santa Fe, California. From the moment we sat down to discuss the venue and my vision for our wedding, to the execution of the magical event, Judy played a huge role in making our wedding absolutely perfect. She assisted in the set up of the wedding throughout the estate grounds, and was a great help to me as I planned my wedding. Judy’s expert knowledge of music was key in the coordination of the ceremony and the reception, and her fabulous vocals added so much to the romance. We went over many of the songs to be played at precise moments during the various segments of my wedding. Judy’s musicians are amazing and she leads them flawlessly. She’s also a terrific MC. To this day, many of my friends still comment on what a fantastic wedding we had, and Judy played a large role in that. With a complete understanding of what is supposed to happen on that special day, and her superb taste and sense of style, Judy knows how to take any wedding to a higher level. There’s nobody quite like her; Judy Chamberlain is the queen of weddings!
Sincerely,

Judy is an amazing entertainer! She is also extremely professional and truly cares about each of her clients and what they want for their events. Whatever that maybe, Judy Chamberlain Entertainment will make it happen!
What an amazing repertoire!!!
For any Bride and Groom reading this endorsement: I am Rev. Michael, and over the past decade I have Officiate thousands of Wedding Ceremonies, and without a doubt the most memorable and enjoyable Ceremony I ever Officiated used Judy Chamberlain and her ensemble for both their Ceremony and their reception. Versus disk jockeys and string quartets, Judy outshines them all. She offers all types of music from rock to swing. After the Ceremony, I heard so many compliments from the guests as to what a treat it was not to have the typical disk jockey music. The Bride also told me how Judy gave she and her husband to be so many tips and guidance to make their Ceremony and reception an event to remember. Judy exudes the touch professionalism that I rarely, if ever, encounter. You would be remiss in not at least calling Judy to find out for yourself. Judy is fabulous! Such an amazing, full-of-life entertainer. Never a dull moment with her at your reception!

We're small enough to fit in a telephone booth, but prefer larger spaces whenever possible. We navigate parking lots, loading docks and site managers gracefully. We respect confidentiality, exclusive private estates, hotels, country clubs, event coordinators and party planners. Long-distance planning for destination and celebrity weddings is a specialty, and we often get the “first call" before the date has been set or the venue booked. In our hands and through the magic of live music, your entire wedding becomes a seamlessly-orchestrated Hollywood extravaganza.
It's no coincidence that many of our clients are entertainers themselves.
