Juliana Riccardi Music Group (JRMG)

We have just recently used the Juliana Riccardi Music Group for our Wedding Reception. All we can say is "WOW!" From the moment we heard them sound checking while we were taking our photos we knew it was going to be a great night, and it was! They had our guests up and dancing from the moment they started playing, and all night our guests were coming up to us and saying how they were the best band they'd ever heard, as well as the staff at our venue complementing us on how awesome these musicians were. A week after the wedding we were still getting phone calls about them!

My husband and I are professional singers, and the bulk of our guests attending were as well, so as you can imagine we're extremely critical. Without a doubt The Juliana Riccardi Music Group was by far the most fantastic group of musicians we've had a privilege of hearing. They were vibrant, fun, and you could tell that they were having a great time WITH us, which was the icing on the cake. We would strongly urge anyone whose considering this band to hire them, it'll be the best decision you could make!

If ever there's an event were having that requires a band in the future, we will be hiring them again.

Juliana and the band were absolutely phenomenal. Amazing musicianship and great variety - we literally could not have asked for a better band for our wedding reception. The band created a very classy, inviting ambiance for our cocktail hour and then seamlessly segued into great new takes on songs from Motown to classic rock to Top 40 for the "dancy" portion of the reception. The band is simply top-notch (both the vocalists and instrumentalists), and incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. After the wedding many of our NYC guests took business cards so they could hire Juliana and the band for their own events, which I think is the ultimate complient. Totally recommended.

JRMG was a FANTASTIC choice for our wedding. They listened to our requests and truly delivered exactly what we were looking for. If you want a typical cookie cutter wedding band, they are NOT for you. But, if you are looking for a band that truly understands that a wedding should be personal and most of all FUN -- then book them without hesitation. We cannot recommend them enough.

The group perfectly captured and set the atmosphere for a special evening! We appreciate everything that you did for us particularly learning new songs just two weeks before the big day and your arrangement of Alyssa and Grant’s special song was amazing! We received the most enthusiastic remarks from lots of guests - a few of whom were musicians themselves. They were impressed how fluidly you moved through so many styles. You guys just shine when you perform! It is obvious what talented musicians you are, and how much you love what you do! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to anyone…and I am quite sure you will be invited back to our facility again soon!

Juliana Riccardi Music Group performed at a retirement dinner that I hosted, and they provided the perfect touch to the evening. Juliana responded to my inquiry within a day, and within the week we had a contract in place. She and her team were flexible, in that they were willing to perform at any point in the evening. We decided to have them perform after we had dinner and while we had dessert. With little guidance from me, the music selection was exactly what the guest of honor enjoys. Many guests commented that the band provided one of the best live performances they had heard. I highly recommend Juliana Riccardi Music Group.

Juliana and her band where FANTASTIC! We could not have asked for better talent to help celebrate in my father's birthday. Juliana's voice is absolutely amazing and the arrangements of the songs where perfect. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We hired Juliana's group for a guitar and cello duo for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The musical ambiance was exactly what we had hoped for: casual, fun & familiar, a little chic, thoroughly touching and absolutely fitting for a special occasion. The entire team was extremely professional and easy to have around the day of the wedding. We enthusiastically recommend guitar and contemporary cello for ceremony and cocktail music and Juliana Riccardi Music Group as a vendor. She can accommodate many other ensembles, including full band with vocals, all of which I'm certain would be great.

Juliana and her band were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Dec 2011. We really wanted a band (instead of a DJ), but were worried about getting a stereotypical wedding band that would play bad covers and embarrass on on the microphone.

JRMG was nothing like this, and instead was more like a good band you'd hear in your favorite bar. They played a great selection of music that everyone at the wedding (all ages) enjoyed. Their covers were unique, they had their own style, and they were just fun to listen to. The dance floor was packed the whole night, and our guests could not stop saying how much they loved the band. We honestly could not have been happier.

We also worked with Juliana to have a cello and guitar play during our ceremony, and she sang a song during the ceremony as well. The music could not have been more perfect and beautiful. It brought tears to the eyes of our guests and really just set the tone perfectly for the entire day.

Overall, we are so happy we chose JRMG for our wedding and we would recommend them to EVERYONE for a wedding or special event!

Juliana was fantastic. I had a trio for the ceremony and the cocktail hour—guitar, cello, and Juliana's vocals. Everything was perfect. I got many compliments on the ceremony music and I just loved my bridal walk. Juliana and her group created a very special touch to the day, especially to the ceremony.

JRMG is the perfect vendor for your wedding day! My guests loved them! I would absolutely recommend them for any bride & groom looking for a wedding that will stand out from the rest! We also used Noah (the cellist) for our ceremony and I couldn't have made a better choice for my ceremony music.

Amazing Band! Timely, Professional, & Flexible. Juliana and her group were able to accomodate my change of date & my price range. She provided an amazing ceremony backdrop. The ceremony music (Clapton's Pretty Girl & Ingrid Michaelson's The Way I Am) was sung and played beautifully. In addition, the reception music was a folk rock vibe that everyone totally was into. I received so many compliments about the group - and so many people who want to book her and her band for other events! Highly recommend!!

We hired Juliana Riccardi Music Group for our cocktail hour and reception. For the cocktail hour, we had a duo of acoustic guitar and cello. For the reception, we had a 5 piece band with a DJ. The music at our wedding was very important to us, and Juliana went above and beyond what we could have ever expected! Juliana, her band, and the DJ she works with were all very professional and a pleasure to work with. I worked with Juliana for most of the planning and I was always very impressed with how organized she was. She responded to emails and phone calls almost immediately, and made the music planning process run so smooth. The best part of working with Juliana is that I knew I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because everything was completely organized and under control.

As far as music quality.... it could not have been better! Juliana and the band were absolutely amazing! I wanted real musicians to play at my wedding, and not just a boring "wedding band"... I definitely made the right choice with Juliana Riccardi Music Group! Over a week later, I still have guests calling me to tell me how impressed they were with the musicians, and that they have never been to a wedding with such a wonderful music selection. Juliana played such a great mix of music so that every single guest at my wedding heard plenty of songs they knew and loved. I left most of the music choice up to her and she knew exactly what to play at different points of the night. The band switched off with the DJ at different times during the reception and they organized it so that it flowed together seamlessly. Juliana Riccardi Music Group is professional, extremely talented, and just overall awesome to work with!

We did not contact JRMG until a month prior to our wedding date--quite short notice! While we do not suggest waiting like we did, JRMG made the process simple and were quite patient with us as we hammered out the fine details. We never met Juliana (vocalist) or Anthony (DJ) before our wedding day, but everything went off without a hitch. During dinner, we hired JRMG to provide a trio and then after dinner, Anthony took over. We received numerous compliments from our guests on both. Juliana's voice is beautiful and set a lovely tone to the dinner. She provided music that I think is not typical for a wedding in that it felt that guests were enjoying a private concert rather than just background music. Don't get me wrong--guests were able to enjoy dinner conversation without the music interfering, but Juliana's voice definitely captivated guests. We were somewhat hesitant to hire a DJ, but Anthony provided exactly what we wanted. He was not "cheesy" at all and instead offered a high level of professionalism and was able to captivate the crowd and get the party going. We highly recommend JRMG!

Absolutely amazing! Juliana was extremely helpful and patient in helping us plan the music for the event. She offered plenty of suggestions, as well as applying her expertise to our ideas for the reception. Had a number of guests approach us during the reception and tell us how great they thought the band was. With all of the things to worry about leading up to and on the day of the wedding, rest assured that the music will not be one if you choose JRMG. The highest recommendation...and then some.

JRMG was the band at my wedding on May 8, 2010. From the first contact Juliana was both professional and accommodating. We spoke for awhile and I immediately felt at ease and knew that JRMG would be perfect for my wedding. Juliana met with my husband and I a few months before the wedding to meet each other and discuss what we envisioned for our wedding. We asked for a song that was not on their song list for our first dance and without hesitation she said they would be happy to learn it. Furthermore, we emailed back and forth regarding the arrangement and presentation. It was clear that she really cared about what we wanted.
We could not have been happier with JRMG the day of our wedding. They were on time, helpful and genuinely wonderful to work with. They played a beautiful set during the ceremony and then played for the first two hours of the wedding, including father/daughter dance and mother/son dance.

I am still hearing from my guests about how amazing my band was. Everything they sang was beautiful and they played exactly the kind of music we wanted. I highly recommend JRMG for any event and definitely plan on using them in the future.

Juliana's voice was beautiful. All my guests raved about how great the duo sounded.

Juliana & Steve define the word "duo" as they compliment one another's musical talents beautifully. They are extremely talented and tailored the night to our liking. It truly was the highlight of the evening. If you are looking for a laid back group who you know will play great tunes and really help make your party a success, definitely book the Juliana Riccardi Band! We are already looking for other excuses to get them back in the Washington, DC area! I recommend them without reservation.

I learned about Juliana through another bride on here. At first I was dead set about not spending money on any form of cocktail hour entertainment, but once I heard her sing I knew she would be a great addition to my wedding. We traded emails and phone calls before I actually booked and she was great each time. A few months later I decided to surprise Jeff with a live rendition of our first dance song. Since the singer had the same soulful sound I thought this would be great! I called Juliana up and asked her if this could be done and she was able to do it in less than three months. The song sounded wonderful! Even though I didn’t meet Juliana until a few minutes before my cocktail hour begun, I had total confidence - I had no worries!

Another of my favorite vendors; Juliana is extremely talented and beautiful and she made our cocktail hour seem so sophisticated but FUN at the same time. I wish I could’ve afforded to hire her for dinner hour too!! They do more laid back renditions of popular songs (ie- Britney Spears’ “Toxic” and Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”; both can be heard on her website) as well as some Jazz standards and original songs. I found her on a random craigslist search, looked up her website and hired her without ever seeing her live. It was only after that I went to see her at Skipper’s Pub in Northport. She blew me away! I knew that it was a great choice, and boy was I right!! -k.c.

Juliana is AMAZING!! She made my cocktail hour unique and memorable.
