I cannot express enough how thrilled we are with Julie Eisel and her photography! She captured our wedding perfectly. Not only are the photographs outstanding, she was a pleasure to work with as well! The amout of photographs we got were unbelieveable. There were so many great shots. She really captured the spirit of people in her work. Her prices are reasonable and she took the time to edit all of them! If you are reading this review, look no further and book Julie Eisel NOW!!! Julie is fantastic! She blended into the background so well at the wedding that I barely knew she was there and yet, there are still so many pictures! She is so sweet and accommodating, I would highly recommend her.

Julie is AWESOME! She is a free lance photographer. We went with a free lancer because I did not want generic wedding shots. I love candid pictures and she is great at it. She is so sweet and flexible. She was there all day and I think I only saw her once or twice. She does not get it the way of the wedding fun!
I would highyl recommend her! Her prices are reasonable for the amount of attention and photos you will get.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

As a wedding photographer - I have become experienced with all types of lighting situations. (That's the challenge!!) I love natural light and whenever possible prefer to not use a flash. It just makes for a prettier picture - with more depth, feel and beauty.

Is your media preference film or digital?

I went digital a few years ago - which is great because I take A LOT of pictures.

How many photographers do you work with?

Usually it's just me. I do have an extremely talented second shooter who is also available to work with me if requested.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

I am always there - I have never missed an event.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Never more then one a day. Usually only one a weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Although I have never missed a wedding - I do have an extremely talented photographer as a back up.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I shoot with two Canon 20Ds, and a variety of Canon lenses.
I also have two Canon flashes.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes - always.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Full day.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I just take the one break while everyone is eating dinner - but keep my ears open just in case something special happens. I don't want to miss a thing!

Do you charge for travel?

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

1 4x6 high quality print - suitable for framing

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

No - the images belong to you.
