Julie was wonderful to work with. I was living out of state while planning my wedding and she was very flexible and easy to get a hold of to discuss music selection. Her music was a wonderful addition to our outdoor ceremony. I would strongly recommend her to any bride or anyone looking for beautiful music. We received a lot of compliments from our wedding guests and two guests, planning weddings for 2011, are using her for their wedding!!!

Our wedding got off to an Extremely late start; however Julie was very patient and kept the guests busy with the beautiful sounds of her harp. She was an excellent addition to our wedding.

Julie was great!! I met with her not knowing what ceremony music I wanted; while there she let me hear a few songs that helped me make up my mind!! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great harpist.

Julie is amazing. She made my wedding ceremony dream come true. I wasn't sure what music I wanted and Julie took the time to help me select music that was the appropriate time length (from walking my attendant down the aisle to lighting the unity candle). My guests were extremely impressed! I would highly recommend Julie.

She played at the wedding and not the reception. It was a different approach as to the traditional organ. She played “Always” by Atlantic Star. It was beautiful. I think my mascara ran, yuck, I had raccoon eyes when I said I do…lol

What ceremony music arrangements can you provide?

What is your usual attire?

I typically wear black unless the bride requests a different color.

How much space do you usually require?

The harp takes up about a 4 x 5 foot area

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

No travel fee for Cancun Hotel Zone. Call for rates in Riviera Maya.

Additional Advice

What type of music do you play? You can listen to some audio clips on my website: www.OneHarp.com It is helpful to think through the details of the ceremony before you plan your music. You need to decide if you will have an aisle runner, if so when do you want it to be pulled? Will you have a unity candle, if so, will the mother's light the outside candles after they are seated? When you plan these details out it will help you to see where you might want or need special music. One more thing: You do not need to provide flowers for the musicians, often the flowers just get in the way when performing.
