Pre-Hiring Consultation
Not sure if you want to book us just by chatting over the phone? We'll be glad to meet with you in person and give you more information. This will allow you to ask any questions you may have face to face. 

Free Consultation Sessions
Some DJ's charge when you visit their office for consultation sessions. At Jx2 Productions, consultation sessions are included as part of your wedding package. We recommend at least two meetings to make sure no details are overlooked. Consultations are available at your convenience, daytime, evening, or on weekends.

Use the client login feature on our website, www.Jx2Productions.com, to check the progress and to update information concerning your event.

Event Contract & Insurance
For every event we provide you a contract securing your date, price, time, and location. We believe that by specifying the conditions and services in advance, we will assure the success of your event. Fully insured, a Proof of Insurance certificate is available upon request and will be provided to your banquet facility if needed.

Two Vs. One for the same price!
Your wedding is so important to us and that's why we send two DJs to your very special reception. Why two Djs? The power of two DJs for the price of one is un-measurable. Our second DJ acts as the MC and event coordinator. He or she assists in lining up your bridal party, cake cutting, bouquet/garter and your special dances. In coordination with the banquet facility, photographer and Videographer he/she makes sure that everyone is ready to go on your special day.

EasyPay Options
Worried about how you're going to pay for your entertainment? Don't -We make it easy. You choose how you want to pay for services. We accept all major credit cards, money orders, checks, and cash. You can even choose to have your payments automatically charged every month! In addition, our reservation fee is only 25% of your total package price so there is no need to be concerned with a large upfront payment

What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
What is your usual attire?
For weddings, a suite for our male DJ's and appropriate Dress or suite for our female DJ's.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We make every effort to accomodate the request by the bride and groom. However, some songs may be obscure or not readily available for download or purchase. If this is the case, we ask the bride and groom to bring it to a pre-wedding meeting so we may copy it and have it available for the wedding.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have a staff of 5 DJ's at Jx2 Productions and access to over 15 other highly trained DJ's depending on the genre and style of entertainment the Bride and Groom are requesting.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, all of our DJ's are available for you to meet prior to booking with us. In fact, we encourage the Bride & Groom to meet their DJ to make sure they are the right fit for their wedding.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Absolutely! We will go through the "Do Not Play List" with our client and make suggestions as to wether or not to play the song(s) based upon our expertise. However, if you say no, then it's no!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, we bring all of our own equipment to the wedding. All of our gear is professionally maintained by our full time staff at our office.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have all of the newest technology for lighting. From the classic disco ball to LED and Laser lighting. Basic lighting is included with all of our wedding packages.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
It typically takes us about an hour to set up. We generally ask the client/venue to provide a small (6 foot) table for us to set up on. If a table is not available, we will bring one.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Typically an 8x8 space is sufficient for us to set up in. If it is a larger wedding and more equipment is required or should the client add on additional lighting, space requirements will be determined at the time of booking.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No. We very rarely have a banner at any event unless it is a donation. We do, however, have business cards available at our DJ booth and Photo booth.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
All of our DJ's emcee the event. We do talk in between every song. We do speak during key moments (such as special dances, or when going into a slow set) and during times when crowd/group interaction may accompany a song.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Our contract states that should your DJ not be available for the event due to circumstances beyond their control, Jx2 will provide a DJ.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Our DJ's typically do not work more than one event in a day. Your wedding is a very special occasion and we want to make sure every entertainer is at the top of their game and ready to perform for you and your guests.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We only charge for travel beyond 60mins from our office (in Springfield, MA). We are available for destination events/ weddings anywhere in the world - travel and accommodations will be discussed at the time of booking.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We require 25% of your total package at the time of signing your contract. This is non-refundable fee regardless of when you cancel.
